Fallen pov
Walking into the office holding the boys in a body snuggle. I had only made one thinking I was only having one cub. But with there being two they are about half the size I had expected so they both fit one on each side of my body. This will last a week then nope only one at a time.
What stops me in my tracks is Enoy filing. Sniffing the air she smells off. “who are you?” I growl pulling the boys closer. Turning she cocks her brow at me. “What do you mean um um um oh pups let me see, please. I can’t have any yet and I adore them.” Enoy squeals. “not til you tell me who you are and where is Enoy?” crouching baring my teeth. Max rushes to the office I’m sure having feeling my anger.
“Maxy pad tell your mate to let me hold the pups pleaseeeee?” she whines. Stopping dead max tilts his head. “Eris?” “duh dumb-ass now let me see?” max shakes his head stepping in front of me pointing and bouncing his finger like he’s trying to do the math. “what? How? When? Where?” “oh.” She pats herself “Ambrose switched us. Some stuff No needs to see and hear. I have no clue what to listen for. She will be back tonight or tomorrow. Oh, I hope her mate will understand when I refuse to share a bed. Oh no we didn’t think this through. AMBROSE GET YOU SMELL ASS HERE RIGHT NOW!” she tells in the air.
As if on cue master Ambrose appeared.. “oh child of the cold let me see the little ones please? Tell me they are as I planned?” he squeals. Enoy/Eris huffing and crossing her arms as he skips over to me. Pulling the snuggle back from their faces he smiles widely “oh look they look like fire and ice. With your mother’s temper running strong through them I can only imagine the fun you three will have with them as they grow.” “three?” I ask looking around. He shrugs smiling at the boys. “what did you name them?” “this one is Vladimir and this one is Tulok.” I proudly say. Enoy/Eris dances over. “oh no.” stopping halfway putting her hand over her mouth. Looking around before sprinting to the half bath in the office.
“How does Enoy deal with this? Ugh, maybe I will adopt lots of parentless pups.” She whines coming out of the bath. I can’t hold back my cackling laughter. “Enoy keeps ginger candy in the drawer for her tummy. And trust me she feels the same. I didn’t have morning sickness I had I'm fine, I'm fine, smell, empty stomach, I'm fine, I'm fine. Well if you don’t count I was starving to death.” I huff patting the boy's bottoms.
“food no thanks I couldn’t ooo cinnybonnies do we have any close by?” giggling yep definitely Enoy's body. I think she runs on those little treats. I mean I get why everyone loves them well other than that horrible concoction that is not allowed in our suite ever. But Ambrose and Enoy practically live on them. “one they are good two they provide a lot of energy our bodies need so only makes sense “ Ambrose huffs out. Enoy/Eris double over laughing. “oh please you both got it from my mother. She was addicted to them because they were a comfort in a bad time. And they are good.” Ambrose huffs at her.
“Why did you yell for me it wasn’t to see the future beta and the young child of the cold.” “snapping my eyes to Ambrose “what?” I get out. “oh yes yes I have not seen you in a day so let me explain. You both didn’t want your bear line to end. Master black with every ounce of himself gave up his ability to have a wolf pup to continue the children of the cold line. So I did a little of this and a little of that. I gave you both a potion to speed up you're having a pup. My plan had been to have this little firecracker then in your first season this little ice cube. I bound the potion with a phoenix tear. I do believe this was the reason you were given twins the potion giving the other what they prayed for the other. Meaning you both selflessly we’re willing to give up your breed for the other. The phoenix spirit unable to choose gave you both. The potion now has run its course with them both here. Your next pup will be a surprise for us all.”
“that’s great but Ambrose switching back how will we do that? I don’t want to cause Kai to feel rejected by Enoy and I don’t want Enoy to do that with Paul “ she shutters as she speaks. Isn’t that her mate? I have so many questions. “I promise things will be explained later. It’s a need to know and trust me Enoy wouldn’t even be in the loop yet if things had not just happened “ Enoy/Eris finish looking at Ambrose with such intensity. The room started to fill with anger. I feel my anger spiking out of the blue. But I also feel clarity. A tiny ice-cold hand lands on my chest. Looking down little Tul has his hand on my bare skin cooling me down. His inner cold.
Looking around I see everyone starting to show signs of anger. Grabbing max hand letting my cold core spread out to him cooling him. “master Ambrose does Eris have control over Enoy's magic and her whole demon side?” I ask as the air thickens with her emotions. Max starts huffing out trying to fight the onslaught of emotions. Ambrose snapped his eyes to me then Enoy/Eris. Her eyes glowed black. How black glows I’m not too sure but yeah. With a wave of his hand, a thick necklace appeared around her neck her aura and power vanishing just as fast.
“Eris dear control your temper your not wearing your bracelet. How is it working by the way?” “perfect. It works faster than I had expected giving me access to pull on emotions without their witch finding the source. The contacts still bother my eyes if you could work on that? Both ros and I are running low on birth control potions. so if you could pop over and refill those bottles. Matilda isn’t finished doing her thing so we can’t really act yet.”
Eris and ros don’t want pups with their mates?
