A few minutes later, Nick and Caroline accompanied Sawyer, who was wearing a mask, to the parking lot, ready to get in the car.

"We're friends," Caroline said calmly.
"Sway, she says she's your friend. Are you boyfriend and girlfriend?" the person pressed.
Sawyer didn't dare to speak. Caroline glanced at him and gave him an encouraging look.
Sawyer took a deep breath and said, "Just friends."
That was the most he could say without stuttering.
"You mean boyfriend and girlfriend?"
"No," Sawyer replied.
Caroline felt relieved. Fortunately, Sawyer wasn't dumb and knew how to handle such a situation.
"What about Nathan? What's your relationship with him?"

"We're all friends," Caroline answered calmly.
"Ms. Murphy, there's a rumor online that you betrayed your relationship and took Nathan as your boyfriend, kicking Roxanne out. Is that true?"
"That's a lie. We're all friends. I didn't take anyone away or betray any relationship," Caroline explained.

"Nathan, did you fall for Ms. Murphy, so you kicked Roxanne out and made her disappear completely?"
