"Nope, I came here today just to catch your scene with the male lead. Still got no clue who he is," Megan said.
Roxanne's lips curled into a smug smile. "The new star is Sawyer."
"What?" Megan exclaimed, "It's him!"
"Yup, it's him. William kept it hush-hush, but I got him to spill the beans," Roxanne said, clearly proud of herself.
"Oh my God, it's Sawyer! He vanished last year, heard he went abroad to study. Now he's back, and his first show is gonna be huge," Megan couldn't hide her excitement.
Roxanne's smile grew wider. "The crew specially invited him back to act with me."
"Sawyer's only done movies before, never TV. Roxanne, you're amazing," Megan said, a bit envious.
"Yeah, this is his TV debut, all to complement me," Roxanne said confidently.
"Only a superstar like Sawyer is worthy of a big shot like you," Megan chimed in.
"When Sawyer shows up later, it's gonna be a big deal. Take this chance to go to the costume department, find Demi's clothes, and sew these into them," Roxanne instructed, handing Megan a small paper box from her bag.
Megan opened it to find several small, dull black needles that were hard to notice.
"These needles are coated with a special substance. Once they pierce the skin, it'll itch at first. If not treated quickly, the skin will swell and fester, making it hard to heal for a long time. Demi prides herself on her professionalism, so if she feels itchy during filming, she'll tough it out. By the time filming's over, the best time for treatment will have passed, and her acting career will be over!" Roxanne's eyes gleamed with cruelty.
Megan felt a chill; Roxanne's methods were too ruthless.
Were all big stars this vicious and scheming?
"What are you standing there for? Scared to go?" Seeing Megan in a daze, Roxanne snapped.

"Don't worry, as long as you can get Demi out, the second female role will be yours." Roxanne continued to paint a rosy picture for Megan.
Megan replied, "Thanks for your support, Roxanne."
"Today, we're just chatting here. I didn't give you anything, nor did I ask you to do anything. The crew's matters have nothing to do with me. I'm just an actress here to act," Roxanne warned coldly.
"I understand," Megan said.
She thought to herself, 'You really know how to dodge responsibility. If something goes wrong, I'll have to take the fall.'
But Megan could only swallow her discontent. To climb up in the entertainment industry, she couldn't afford to offend someone like Roxanne.
Meanwhile, because Roxanne occupied the makeup room, Caroline had to do her makeup in another room. Sarah was beside her, looking sullen, and they didn't speak. The reason was naturally that Caroline wouldn't let Ryan and Sophie meet Nathan, which Sarah thought was too selfish.

She's here to welcome the male lead. For someone to be so important to Roxanne, he must be a top star. If he weren't on the same level, Roxanne wouldn't care," Sarah analyzed.
Caroline nodded. "That's true, Roxanne always knows how to climb up and step down."
Mentioning Roxanne, the two rarely agreed and stopped arguing.
"He's here, the superstar is here!" There was a commotion outside.
A black luxury van slowly drove in. For such a grand entrance, the person inside had to be someone big.
Caroline finished her makeup but didn't share the excitement of the others.
"Go say hello and make an impression," Sarah urged.
"A superstar? If I go up to fawn over him, he might not even acknowledge me. The entertainment industry is all about fame and fortune. Why should I bother?" Caroline responded calmly.
"You have no ambition! Any other actor would have already tried to ingratiate themselves. No matter how good your acting is, with that attitude, you won't be popular!" Sarah was so angry she stomped her foot.
"Who knows, maybe one day I'll get lucky and win an award," Caroline said with a smile.
"Everyone's out there welcoming the superstar, you should go too!" Sarah was really anxious, pulling Caroline out.
Outside, there were cheers and screams. The arrival of the superstar had excited the entire crew.
A black business car had been parked for a while, the door closed, curtains drawn, the interior scene unclear.

Caroline quickly nodded.
At this moment, the car door slowly opened, and Sawyer, dressed in a black leather jacket and pants, stepped out.
Leather jackets and pants were once all the rage, but after being worn frequently by industry veterans, they became outdated. But Sawyer, with his tall, slender figure and handsome features, made the outfit look fashionable, stunning everyone present.
He was a man more beautiful than most women, not just handsome, but beautiful.
Cheers and screams erupted again, reaching a climax with Sawyer's appearance.
