Chapter 192

The Kennedy family's private doctor, Daniel Wilson, received a call from Jack, asking him to hurry to Nathan's office.

Daniel was startled, thinking something had happened to Nathan. He grabbed his medical bag and rushed over.

When he arrived, he saw that Nathan was fine, just with noticeable dark circles under his eyes, clearly from lack of sleep.

Nathan had downed two large cups of strong coffee during the meeting, finally shaking off the persistent fatigue. Although he was usually full of energy, the long journey yesterday combined with staying up late and insomnia had indeed worn him out.

"Mr. Kennedy, where are you feeling unwell?" Daniel Wilson opened his medical bag, ready to examine him.

"I'm not seriously ill; I just have a question for you," Nathan said.

"Please go ahead, Mr. Kennedy."

"Do identical twins have the same DNA?"

"Yes, identical twins have the same DNA. Fraternal twins do not; their DNA is like that of regular siblings," Daniel replied.

Nathan nodded. He actually knew this fact but wanted to confirm it with a professional.

"So you and your brother are identical twins, right? So your DNA is the same," Daniel added.

Nathan nodded again. "So Nick and I have exactly the same DNA, or can differences be identified?"

"Of course, differences can be identified. This is mainly done through changes at the genetic level, such as variations in methylation and copy number variations in the genome. Advanced techniques can detect these differences. Previously, these technologies were only available abroad, but now we have them too," Daniel Wilson explained.

"However, the demand for this is quite low and is mainly used for research or forensic identification. Sometimes, criminals exploit their twin status to evade justice, which requires more detailed professional analysis. Of course, I'm not suggesting that's the case with you," Daniel added nervously.

Nathan waved his hand to interrupt him, indicating there was no need to explain.

He was silent for a while, seemingly pondering something.

Daniel didn't say anything more and waited quietly.

"If Nick had a child, would the child's DNA be exactly the same as mine?" Nathan asked again.

"There would be a high similarity, but not exactly the same," Daniel answered.

Nathan remained silent, seemingly deep in thought.

"There's one more thing I need you to do, and only the two of us can know about it," Nathan suddenly said.

Daniel immediately became alert. "What is it?"

"Compare the DNA of me, Nick, and this child, and come to a conclusion." Nathan said.He quickly added, "This isn't about a messy personal life, just some misunderstandings, but if this gets out, people will inevitably gossip."

"I understand," Daniel replied.

The reputation of the Kennedy family was crucial, and they couldn't let outsiders find any weaknesses.

"Alright, then draw my blood now. Can you do it here?"

"Yes."

At six in the evening, the film crew was still busy.

The filming process of this drama had been full of twists and turns, with frequent cast changes and various unexpected incidents, causing significant delays. They had to work overtime to catch up.

Director William was furiously scolding a supporting actor, "You idiot, how many times do I have to tell you before you get it?"

Although the actress was still a student and had a solid grasp of theoretical knowledge, she was completely out of her depth in practice and ended up in tears after being reprimanded.

"Demi, teach her; let her learn how to act!" William turned to Caroline.

Caroline, helpless, improvised a scene. Even with minimal effort, she brought the character to life vividly.

Indeed, acting relied on talent.

"Did you understand? Have you learned it?" William asked the actor.

The actor nodded and tried again, but the result was still unsatisfactory.

The actions were roughly correct, and the lines were recited verbatim, but something was still missing.

"Idiot! You're a professional; how can you act like this!" William was exasperated.

A voice from behind interrupted, "Let Demi demonstrate again."

"Demi is already very tired; we can't keep asking her to demonstrate," William said angrily. Then he turned angrily, facing Nathan's stoic expression.

"Mr. Kennedy, I didn't know you were here, I'm sorry," William quickly apologized, slapping himself twice, which Nathan quickly stopped.

"Let Demi teach her again, and be more patient with the new actor," Nathan said.

"Demi, teach her again; see if she can learn it," William instructed.

"Alright," Caroline said, and demonstrated again. This time, the actor barely passed.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, and William allowed a short break before continuing after dinner.

"Demi, come here," Nathan called to Caroline.

Caroline walked over and nodded slightly in greeting to Nathan behind the camera.

"Have you eaten?" Nathan suddenly asked.

Caroline was taken aback and shook her head. "The lunchbox hasn't arrived yet."

"Then come have dinner with me," Nathan suggested.

"No, I still have scenes to shoot tonight," Caroline declined politely.

"We won't shoot your scenes today; you can make up for it tomorrow," William quickly said to please Nathan.

Caroline felt that every time Nathan and Nick came to the set, they caused trouble. Today, they had finally prepared everything, but now it was changing again.

"Let's shoot; we can't delay any longer," Caroline said firmly.

"Your dedication is commendable, but we really don't need to shoot today," William explained.

"Then I'll wait outside for you, and you finish shooting first," Nathan said, and walked out.

Caroline was stunned, thinking, 'What does he want now? Does he want to argue with me again?'

"No need, I'll be done very late," Caroline raised her voice and shouted.
