Chapter 124 Truly Captivating

Evelyn woke up feeling a bit of a headache and opened her eyes to see a familiar environment; still a bit dizzy, the blanket slipped off her, and there was a faint sweet fragrance in the air.

Sleepwalking? I She remembered celebrating with Cathy and Laura in the compartment, eating and drinking, and then what? It was blurry.

Wanting to stand up, she felt dizzy for a moment, swayed, and quickly sat back down, feeling better.

"Awake?" Samuel walked out of the kitchen to see this scene, but Samuel wasn't sure if Evelyn was awake now or just rambling after drinking.

"You brought me back?" rubbing her temples with one hand, Evelyn asked uncertainly.

"Laura brought you back." Samuel crossed his arms and leaned against the door frame, looking at Evelyn. "I happened to meet them at the entrance of the community."

If it were not for the coincidence, both Laura and Evelyn wouldn't have been able to enter this door.

"Thhank you," Evelyn said, somewhat embarrassed.

Evelyn didn't expect to have such a low alcohol tolerance. After all, she hadn't really drunk much before.

Back at home, with strict discipline, Evelyn couldn't drink like this, and later, when she was with Liam, she didn't have many opportunities to drink.

This time.

It was indeed a bit out of control, maybe because of those words Nicholas said.

"It was a bit taxing." Samuel straightened up, put down his crossed arms, and walked towards her.

As he approached, he bent down, hands on either side of Evelyn's body, getting closer to Evelyn, "H ow will yourepay me?"

Evelyn smiled, hooked her hands around Samuel's neck, and looked up at Samuel. "I don't mind, but I'm afraid of the smell of alcohol on me..."

Before she could finish her words, Samuel kissed her.

Samuel kissed Evelyn fiercely as if retaliating against Evelyn's disobedience, not as gently as before, nibbling on Evelyn's lips, biting with a bit of force with his teeth.

Frowning in pain, Evelyn felt a bit hurt, and only then did Samuel let go of Evelyn, the desire in his eyes not fading. "Will you drink like this next time?"

Covering her lips with her hand, Evelyn could almost feel the bite marks above. She frowned. "Are you a puppy?"

Pressing his forehead against Evelyn's, Samuel said against Evelyn's nose. "No! I'm a wolf! I'll eat you up!"

Samuel's eyes were sharp, so close, his voice full of danger and temptation.

Evelyn looked at Samuel, suddenly pounced forward, accurately covering Samuel's lips, and bit down hard on Samuel's lip.

This time, it elicited a gasp of pain from Samuel.

The faint bloodstain at the corner of Samuel's lips caught Evelyn's eye, and Evelyn raised the corner of her lips. "If you're a wolf, then so am I! The notion of predator and prey remains uncertain!"

Raising her hand, she lightly brushed the bloodstain on the corner of her lips with her thumb. Samuel glanced at it indifferently. "If you want to prey on me, I would gladly offer myself to you!"

The low, mellow voice, coupled with Samuel's casual yet provocative actions, slightly aggressive gaze, and smile at the corner of his lips, created a powerful visual impact; Evelyn clearly felt her heart racing, and she felt like she could fall in an instant.

Samuel was truly captivating!

How could there be someone so good-looking in this world, and he was a man! He belonged to Evelyn!

Thinking of this last point, Evelyn felt greatly satisfied, even a bit proud.

"What smells so good?" Evelyn sniffed and couldn't help but sneeze; this sudden sneeze dissipated the ambiguous atmosphere.

"It's soup." Letting go of her hand and standing up straight, Samuel said, "I'll go get it for you to drink."

Evelyn sat up, and Samuel had already brought the plate over and placed it in front of Evelyn. "Drink it, then go take a bath and have a good sleep."

"I'm not sleepy!" Evelyn muttered, stirring the plate with a spoon. "Are you sure this is soup?"

Looking at the plate, Evelyn didn't know how it tasted. With tomatoes, bananas, and something she couldn't recognize, the colors were nice, and the fragrance was quite enticing.

"Is this the soup you prepared for me?"

"It should be." Samuel looked at it and thought there shouldn't be a problem. After all, it didnn't taste bad. "It's my first time cooking it, so I found a recipe online. The other flavors might not be that good, but I think this one should be fine; coincidentally, we had all the ingredients at home, so I gave it a try."

Samuel lowered his head and took a sip with Evelyn's spoon, then straightened up and sipped it before earnestly saying to Evelyn, "Not bad. Give it a try.."

Evelyn was touched and didn't know what to say. She thought, 'Samuel was so thoughtful! Not only did he deliberately look up the recipe online, but he also considered my taste and even helped taste it.'

Without saying a word, Evelyn quickly finished the whole plate of soup.

The sweet and sour taste was good. After drinking it, her body felt warm, she felt refreshed, and her headache was much better.

"Sorry," Putting down the plate, Evelyn said.

"I thought you were going to say thank you again." Samuel looked at the empty plate, looking very satisfied.

"Thank you is necessary, but what I want to say more is, I'm sorry! I didn't expect to have such a low alcohol tolerance; I haven't really drunk much before. I promise I won't drink like this again in the future. This is the first time and the last time!" Evelyn raised one hand to assure, "I made you worry."

Staring deeply at Evelyn, Samuel pulled down her hand and placed it on his chest. "Knowing that you made me worry is enough. If you want to drink next time, I'll drink with you. You can't do it when I'm not around."

"Okay." Evelyn leaned into Samuel's embrace and nodded.

"Go wash up and sleep," Kissing Evelyn's forehead, Samuel said softly.

Evelyn snuggled against Samuel's neck and coly said, "No, I'm not sleepy at all right now. Samuel, I have an immature idea that I want to tell you."

"What?" With one hand around Evelyn's shoulder, Samuel responded lightly.

"Before, when I tried to create new products, the perfumes I made were based on the masses, considering from the perspective of ordinary people, they were all popular styles, in other words, the bestsellers. But I want to do something different."

This idea was growing strong in Evelyn's mind recently; she just hadn't fully figured out how to do it or whether it could be implemented, so she hadn't said anything.

Perhaps it was taking advantage of the alcohol, or maybe she just wanted to confide in Samuel, she told him.

"Do you want to make exclusive haute couture?" After thinking for a moment, Samuel said.

Standing up, Evelyn looked admiringly at Samuel, truly the leader of the fashion world. Samuel, had already guessed what Evelyn wanted to do even before Evelyn could explain.

"Yes, I do!" Evelyn nodded solemnly.
