Chapter 168 Let Them Go to Hell

Back at the hotel, Olivia was indeed waiting for Evelyn, with pen and paper in hand, ready for a meeting.

Since Evelyn went out to eat alone and didn't have a chance to bring back food for Olivia, Evelyn felt guilty and opened the door to let Olivia in. "Olivia, do you have dinner? Let me order for you."

Eating together could always ease the atmosphere, but Olivia pushed her glasses and said, "No need, I've already eaten. Let's talk about tomorrow's tasting competition."

Evelyn poured a glass of water, took a few sips, and said, "Alright, tell me, what do you think?"

Olivia always had ideas, especially since she had been in the room for half a day since she came back, anxiously looking for Evelyn. She must have had a plan already.

"I discussed with the company, and we all agree that you should still participate in tomorrow's tasting competition." Olivia raised her head, looking serious, ready to persuade Evelyn.

Evelyn nodded. "Yes!"

Surprised, Olivia looked at Evelyn as if she had heard something unbelievable. "You agree?"

"Yes, why wouldn't I?" Evelyn said.

"Are you confident then?" Olivia cautiously asked.

"If I weren't confident, I wouldn't be representing the company here. Besides, I also want to see where I stand among my peers," Evelyn held the cup, speaking frankly.

Olivia was speechless, thinking, 'Evelyn should compete for glory, but she treats it like an exam, seemingly indifferent to the outcome.'

"But since you're representing the company, you should strive to win an award!" Olivia said.

Of course, winning first place would be ideal, but Evelyn didn't dare to say it and also thought it was unlikely.

"I will do my best," Evelyn agreed, "but I can't determine the outcome."

'Then why are you out so long at night?' Olivia thought to herself but didn't say it out loud. "That's how it is. Because of your relationship with Mr. Thompson, no matter the result of this competition, it will inevitably be talked about. The company has prepared a press release, so you don't need to worry about public opinion."

"I don't need it, actually." Evelyn shook her head. "The more we explain, the more confusing it gets. Besides, the company can guide domestic public opinion, but not international. Instead of wasting time and money on that, it's better to invest in experimental projects."

Olivia didn't know what to say. The company was considering for Evelyn, but she refused it.

"Alright!" Olivia closed her notebook. "Since that's the case, l hope you can achieve good results in tomorrow's competition, Ms. Taylor. Now, rest early."

Evelyn breathed a sigh of relief, but as Olivia walked to the door, she turned back. "By the way, although it looks bustling here, the public security abroad is not as good. It's better not to go out alone. If you need to go out, call me to accompany you. It's also within my job scope."

"Okay." Evelyn raised her eyebrows in agreement, thinking, 'Olivia, despite being a bit lengthy, is still good, always looking out for me.'

Late at night, in the hotel room, Vivian had just hung up the phone when a knock sounded at the door.

Furrowing her brows, she stood up to open the door. When the door opened, Rosen stood there with a bottle of wine in hand, leaning against the door frame with a smirk, looking at Vivian.

"Why are you here?" Vivian was a bit impatient and showed no intention of opening the door. "It's late, so I'm already resting."

"Stop pretending!" With a forceful push, he pushed the door open.

Unable to resist Rosen, Vivian took two steps back and watched as Rosen, with a drunken look, entered the room and closed the door behind him.

"Rosen, don't forget why we're here. Look at yourself now!" Vivian deliberately created some distance, looking at Rosen coldly.

"What do you mean by why we're here?" Rosen sneered. "You wanted it. I brought you here, but you haven't delivered what I want. Shouldn't you compensate me first?"

With that, Rosen reached out to Vivian.

Vivian tightened her clothes and bent down, dodging Rosen's lunge, letting him miss. "What's the rush!"

"After all this time, why wouldn't I be in a hurry? You said to act here, but now Evelyn's involved with Matthew, making things more complicated."

Rosen had thought that executing his plans would be easier on his turf, but it turned out to be more troublesome.

"Matthew?" Vivian chuckled. "You're mistaken. Evelyn knows his daughter; there's no relationship between Evelyn and Matthew."

"What's the difference? Everyone knows Matthew dotes on Lisa the most." Rosen replied.

Rosen's condition was clearly off. His face was flushed, and he was unusually excited. Although he smelled of alcohol, it wasn't too strong. Vivian immediately realized that Rosen must have taken drugs before coming over.

She thought it was truly annoying!

"Rosen, you need to rest now. When you're feeling better, we can discuss these matters," Vivian said.

Vivian had serious matters to discuss with Rosen, but regarding his situation, it was pointless to talk now. She went to open the door directly. "Go back to your room and rest. We'll talk tomorrow."

Glancing at Vivian, Rosen suddenly lunged towards the door, catching Vivian off guard this time, pressing her heavily against the door panel.

"I'm not leaving!" Rosen grunted, gasping for breath, "If you don't hand Evelyn over to me, you'll have to compensate me!"

As he said, he lifted Vivian's leg onto his waist with one hand and skillfully began to undo Vivian's clothes with his fingers.

"Rosen, stop!" Vivian resisted, pushing with all her might. "Let go of me!"

However, Vivian's resistance was futile against someone whose mind was unclear and had immense strength.

Whether it was the increased dosage this time or Rosen's pent-up frustration, this time, Rosen was particularly wild, more intense than any previous encounter, and almost continued having sex with Vivian until dawn.

When Vivian opened her eyes again, she felt pain all over her body. Turning her head, she looked at Rosen, who was sleeping soundly beside her, feeling a strong urge to kill him.

Taking a deep breath, Vivian suppressed this impulse, thinking, 'Rosen still has his uses; I need to use him to destroy Evelyn. I must hold all this out for now.'

She got up to take a shower, unable to wash away the marks on her body.

Wiping off the mist in the mirror and looking at the bruises on her body, Vivian realized that using her body to get what she wanted might not work. Therefore, besides destroying Evelyn, Vivian also needed to get rid of Rosen, sending both of them to hell together!
