Of course, this was all Evelyn's doing. She dug up the video and had someone post it online. It was just a petty move, something she used to think was beneath her, but since Liam wanted to play , she decided to join in.
When the video first surfaced, Liam saw it but didn't think much of it. He even felt a bit proud that his romantic gesture got noticed.

Liam snapped, "What did I do? What are you accusing me of? I even let you leave Liavian Perfumes without a fuss. You caused me endless trouble before you left, and I didn't hold it against you. Did I ever shortchange you on salary or bonuses? Why are you trying to screw me over like this?" He ranted for a bit before a thought hit him. "Is it Evelyn? Did she put you up to this?"
"You did let me leave Liavian Perfumes, but only because Evelyn made a deal with you not to sue you for stealing her research. You even came to my house to threaten my family. Do you dare deny that?" Laura sneered.
Liam shot back, "Do you think I'm scared of her suing me? And when I went to your house, it was just to offer condolences. When did I threaten your family? Ask your mom if she felt threatened by me."
Laura said, "Mr. Scott, cut the act. You know what you did with Vivian. Evelyn knows, and I know too!"
"So, you admit Evelyn put you up to this?" Liam said.
Adjusting his tie, Liam thought bitterly, 'It must be Evelyn!'
"It's my conscience that won't let me stay silent anymore. Liam, you're too shameless!" Laura glanced at the record button on her phone and slowly said, "I'll ask you one thing: are you brave enough to admit that all the perfumes from Liavian Perfumes were actually formulated by Evelyn? Are you brave enough to admit that Evelyn is your ex-girlfriend? Vivian is indeed your lover; it is you who has been unfaithful all along.”
