Ignoring Liam's words, Evelyn said lazily, "Liam, I don't care what you and Vivian want to do. Laura subconsciously looked out the corridor window. She thought it was unbelievable. What kind of drama was unfolding now? Would the fickle man return to his ex-girlfriend?
"Make amends?" Evelyn sneered. "Sure, then make a public statement, telling everyone that I did all the past works of Liavian Perfumes, that Vivian falsely claimed the awards, that all the honors Liavian Perfumes received are null and void, and publicly apologize to me. Can you do that?"
Liam fell silent for a moment. "Apologizing is not a problem, nor is making a statement, but invalidating all the honors seems a bit excessive. After all, at that time, you were part of Liavian Perfumes; the honors belonged to Liavian Perfumes and you."
"So, you refuse?" Evelyn had expected Liam to refuse. If he did as she asked, Liavian Perfumes would be almost finished.
"I agree!" Unexpectedly, Liam agreed but then added, "But I have one condition. I hope you come back! Return to Liavian Perfumes, and come back to me. I can give you everything you want. Liam thought Evelyn was worried that he and Vivian might get back together, so he swore to God.
At this moment, both Evelyn and Laura looked at Liam with disdain.
How could Evelyn have liked such a man in the first place?

"You're overthinking it!" Sighing, Evelyn felt it was pointless to talk to such a person. Passing by Liam, she patted his shoulder. "I think you and Vivian should just live your lives well together; you two are quite suitable, really!"
Liam and Vivian were really suitable! So, they should be bond together and didn't bother others!
"Don't you believe me?" Turning the wheelchair around, Liam looked at Evelyn's back, thinking she didn't trust him.
Liam didn't understand Evelyn's underlying meaning, even thinking Evelyn was jealous or resentful about his past betrayal.
Without waiting for a response, Liam only saw Evelyn's retreating figure.
Sitting dejectedly for a while, Liam thought about the words Evelyn had said earlier and felt there might still be a chance.
Evelyn was just upset about Liam's past betrayal, but Liam firmly believed that Evelyn still had feelings for him. If he made an effort, they could likely reconcile in the future. With Evelyn's abilities and the support of the Jones family behind her, their future would be bright. When Liam became strong enough, there might even be a chance to acknowledge Ava openly.
Vivian woke up from anesthesia and saw the familiar figure sitting by her bedside, calmly peeling an apple, just like before.
Liam had been careful many times to peel apples for Vivian, cut them into small pieces, and feed them to her.
For a moment, Vivian felt like crying.
"Liam," she opened her mouth, calling his name, "baby."
Vivian knew deep down that her baby was gone!
In fact, from the moment Vivian went to find Evelyn, she had already guessed the outcome. Since the baby was unwanted, it should serve her purpose by provoking Evelyn. Evelyn would surely lose control, and then the loss of the child would be entirely because of Evelyn.

"Vivian!" Interrupting her, Liam finished peeling the apple skin, bent down, and threw it in the trash, "Stop acting."
Wide-eyed, Vivian looked at Liam. "Liam, what do you mean?"
"You've been acting in front of me for a long time. I'm tired, and you should be, too. Stop acting." Liam didn't stop his actions, calmly cutting the apple into small pieces and placing them on a small plate. "It was Evelyn who called me to pay your medical bills and brought you to the hospital. If she really wanted to harm you, it wouldn't have been just a miscarriage, and you wouldn't have been sent to the hospital so quickly. Vivian, you know deep down what's going on."
Liam put down the knife, holding the apple core in his hand, and looked at Vivian. "I used to spoil you, so every time I finished cutting the apple, the core was mine, but truth be told, I hate eating cores. I'm tired. You are greedy, so I can't satisfy you. Just as I said before, let's live our lives separately."
