Chapter 61 I Can Help You
On the plane, in the first-class cabin, Vivian felt a surge of joy. She couldn't help but look around; the first-class environment was incomparable. It was all thanks to Rosen.
When she was with Liam, they never flew first class. He always said that starting a business was tough, and they needed to be frugal. The company had a lot of expenses, so she had always agreed and thought that one day, they would make it, and she could enjoy life as a wealthy wife. But now, she was already enjoying it without waiting or enduring.
"Mr. Rosen, I'm honored to accompany you to the event. I still have much to learn, so please guide me if I make any mistakes or behave improperly," Vivian said with a smile.
"You're intelligent," Rosen said and looked at her. "You'll learn quickly."
"Really?" Vivian couldn't contain her joy., and remarked, "Then I'll learn a lot from you."
Rosen's gaze fell on her hand, which was fixing her hair, and he continued in his deep voice, saying, "There will be opportunities."
Vivian was about to say something when she heard a commotion.
She looked in the direction of the sound, and she was surprised to see Evelyn.
How could Evelyn be here?
A flight attendant guided Evelyn Taylor and Cathy to the first-class cabin. Not long after they took their seats, Cathy received a call from Nasir. He said that the company valued them and had upgraded their seats to first class.
Cathy was thrilled and excited, so she took Evelyn to switch seats. However, Evelyn was suspicious. She pondered, 'Was it the company's intention or someone else's?'
The company didn't need to spend so much money on them. Was it necessary for a journey of just over two hours? Moreover, if that was the case, the company could have booked first-class seats from the beginning.
Although she was puzzled, she couldn't call and ask at this moment, so she suppressed her doubts and followed Cathy to the first-class cabin.
What she didn't expect was to see Vivian here. When their eyes met, they both saw surprise in each other's eyes.
"How annoying!" Vivian muttered.
Rosen heard her and turned his head to glance in her direction.
"Do you know her?" he frowned and asked.
"She's the one who caused trouble for us with the essential oils," Vivian whispered, "She's very dishonest. I didn't expect to meet her here. Mr. Rosen, you should be careful and not get too close to her."
Rosen turned to face her, and said, "I don't know her, so how could I get too close to her? If I get close to anyone, it would be you!"
As he spoke, his hand gently rested on hers. Vivian's body stiffened, and she wanted to pull her hand away, but when she saw his gaze, she held back and smiled.
"Of course, we're friends!" Vivian replied.
While Evelyn was exchanging glances with Vivian, Cathy had already noticed. The previous incident had caused quite a stir, and there were only a few people in the same industry, so Cathy remembered Vivian.
"What a coincidence!" Cathy remarked as she laughed, sat down, and adjusted her seat.
"Will there be any issues?" Cathy added.
"Nothing will happen," Evelyn said calmly, pulling a blanket over herself.
"If she doesn't cause trouble, and I won't provoke her, we can coexist peacefully," Evelyn added as she leaned back lazily.
Now, she had an official task, and she knew how to prioritize. She would never cause trouble for the company because of personal matters.
Cathy turned her head to look at her and smiled, saying, "But can you guarantee that she won't cause trouble?"
If she were that kind of person, the incident wouldn’t have caused such a big commotion.
Cathy noticed and said, "The foreigner next to her looks familiar."
Out of curiosity, Cathy naturally took a few more glances. Everyone knew Liam, but the man with Vivian was not him. However, the two of them were always together and attended events.
Evelyn naturally noticed that Liam was not there; only Vivian and the foreigner were there. She didn't care who the person was as long as he didn't bother her.
"Cathy, the tasting event is tonight. Are you sure you don't want to take a nap now?" Evelyn glanced at her, then turned her head and closed her eyes. It was a deliberate choice to ignore.
Cathy smiled and followed suit, lying down and closing her eyes.
It was rare to enjoy such a benefit from the company, so she naturally wanted to make the most of it.
Compared to these two, Vivian couldn't sit still. She kept turning her head to take a look and felt frustrated when she saw that they seemed to be asleep.
It was rare to fly first class, and she didn't expect it to be so troublesome.
Why was Evelyn everywhere and haunting her world like this? Despite her appearance, she could sleep soundly.
Why should Evelyn be able to sleep so peacefully?
She and Liam had been busy with the essential oils, and because of this, Liam couldn't accompany her. All of this was because of Evelyn, and yet she could sleep so peacefully.
With these thoughts, her resentment grew. But in a public place, she couldn't let it show, so she could only keep it to herself.
Suddenly, her hand was held, and she was startled. She looked up at Rosen.
Although his eyes were closed, he was holding her hand, and his lips moved, "There are a hundred ways to get back at someone, and none of them should be rushed."
Vivian was taken aback.
Rosen slowly opened his eyes, looked at her, and said, "I can help you."
These two hours of flight were really unbearable for Vivian.
The initial joy of sitting in first class had long been overshadowed by anger, and Rosen had been holding her hand all the way. She neither broke free nor stayed still.
So, she was conflicted all the way. She felt that this trip to Tedia might not be as wonderful as she had imagined.
Liam was right; Rosen had intentions toward her, but she couldn't offend him.
What should she do? She could only handle it with care. And there was Evelyn! She was also here for the tasting event.
Unexpectedly, after leaving Liavian Perfumes, she not only didn't go downhill but instead became more and more successful, and she could even enjoy the treatment of first class.
Vivian was determined not to let Evelyn have it so easy!
