Chapter 55 An Important Person

Evelyn received it in confusion and opened the cover to see that it was an insurance contract.

Her name was listed as the insured, and she was also the beneficiary, but as for the amount...

She could only say, it was a really huge sum!

Evelyn was surprised and looked up at Samuel. "Is it necessary to be so extravagant?"

"Extravagant? "Samuel asked back. "For a perfumer, the nose is crucial. I don't think it's extravagant at all. In fact, it's necessary."

Yes, that's right! The nose of a perfumer was indeed important. In the perfume industry, talent was often more significant than hard work. A nose that could discern hundreds of different scents was more necessary than any effort. However, only a few top perfumers would spend a fortune to insure their nose.

And Evelyn didn't have that kind of reputation yet, so did Samuel really need to spend so much money to insure her nose?

"For me, everything about you is necessary!"

Samuel took out a pen and stood up, handing it to Evelyn. "Sign it, it will take effect immediately."

Evelyn looked at Samuel, then at the contract in her hand. Samuel had brought her so many emotions and touched her deeply.

After signing her name, Evelyn closed the contract. "Thank you."

"Don't you feel it's awkward between us when we say thank you? Let's do something more practical!"

Saying that, Samuel held the back of her head and claimed a kiss from her.

Evelyn slightly tiptoed, wrapping her arms around Samuel's neck, and responded enthusiastically.

At the airport…

Vivian pushed her sunglasses on her face, unable to conceal her impatience. "Liam, who are we picking up? You still haven't told me!"

She meticulously dressed, selecting a new outfit and freshening her makeup. Then, she followed Liam to the airport. All she knew was they were there to pick someone up, but Liam hadn't disclosed who exactly.

After waiting for so long, Vivian became impatient.

"It's someone very important. Just have a little patience," Liam said, trying to appease Vivian, but he wasn't sure either.

He had only seen a photo and had a vague impression, but since it was someone he had never met, it would be troublesome if he didn't recognize them or missed them.

He thought about making another phone call to ask, but the line was busy and no one answered. Liam was anxious but didn't want to show it.

Liam thought to himself, 'Asking Evelyn is probably not an option. She's being stubborn now and won't listen to me at all. Laura is even worse—she may not even know about this, and she's against me now. She's just wasting time trying to get me to fire her. So annoying!

'Laura probably learned from Evelyn, or maybe Evelyn instigated her?'

As Liam thought and looked around, he suddenly saw a tall, thin foreigner wearing gold-rimmed glasses pass by. He felt like he recognized him.

Excited, he immediately took out his phone and compared the photo. After looking at it several times, the person was about to leave, and Liam nodded repeatedly in confirmation. "It's him! It's definitely him!"

"Who?!" Vivian had not yet caught on and was being pulled forward by Liam.

"Mr. Rosen, Mr. Rosen!" Liam shouted as they ran. "Mr. Rosen, please wait."

The foreigner indeed stopped.

Liam was even more certain that he hadn't found the wrong person, so he smiled and said, panting, "Mr. Rosen, I came here specifically to pick you up. My last name is Scott, and my first name is Liam. I am the CEO of Liavian Perfumes. Ms. Mitchell should have mentioned me to you."

Vivian followed Liam, looking puzzled at this foreigner and then at her boyfriend who was fawning over him. She thought, 'Who is this person?'

Through his glasses, Rosen glanced up and down at Liam. He had a distant and indifferent expression, but he still politely nodded his head. "I've heard of you. Hello."

"Hello, hello!" Liam quickly reached out his hand and warmly greeted him.

Rosen looked down, then casually extended his hand and lightly shook it. He only let his fingers touch before letting go. "Where is the car?"

"The car is outside. Please follow me!"

Liam led Rosen to the parking lot with a big smile, leaving Vivian full of curiosity as she scrutinized the foreign man.
