Chapter 129 Excellence

Camilla pulled out a red certificate.

The cover had big letters that said "Qualification Certificate." Clearly, it was a certificate for a Senior Tea Artist.

"What about it? Need me to bring it closer so you can see it better?" Camilla asked, looking at Amara with a cool expression.

Amara's eyes widened in disbelief. 'Does Camilla really have it?' she thought.

Even with the evidence right in front of her, Amara still wouldn't admit it. "Certificates can be faked too," she argued.

Camilla smiled. "State-issued certificates have unique serial numbers. You can check it on the official website."

Someone quickly checked the serial number on Camilla's certificate with their phone and announced loudly, "Wow! It's real! Everything matches, it's definitely real."

Amara gritted her teeth, trying to save face. "Even if you have a certificate, so what? That doesn't prove your tea-making skills are actually good. Plenty of people fake it. Becoming a Senior Tea Artist with money should be pretty easy, right?"

Camilla seemed to have expected this. She looked up slightly and said coldly, "Then watch closely and see how I earned my certificate."

With that, Camilla got to work.

She turned on the power and added water to the kettle, explaining as she went, "There are seven steps to making tea. First is boiling water. Water is key to making tea, and the best water is clear spring water. Bring the water to a boil."

"Next is warming the pot. Rinse the teapot with boiling water to raise its temperature, which helps release the tea's aroma. It also cleans the teaware."

"Then comes the third step. Add the right amount of tea leaves. Too much will make the tea bitter; too little, and the tea will be bland. So, the amount of tea added needs to be just right."

"The fourth step is pouring boiling water into the teapot to fully soak the tea leaves."

Camilla paused, "One thing to note is to pour the water slowly along the edge of the pot to avoid directly hitting the tea leaves, which would affect the taste."

"By this step, we're more than halfway done. Next is steeping the aroma."

Camilla quickly covered the pot and looked up at the crowd.

"The steeping time depends on the type of tea, usually ranging from a few seconds to a minute. During this time, the tea leaves unfold in the pot, fully releasing their aroma."

Exactly forty seconds later, Camilla opened the pot lid.

"Finally, pour the tea into a fairness cup, then distribute it into tasting cups," Camilla said while demonstrating, "Remember to keep the tea evenly distributed to avoid a strong start and a weak finish."

"Now, we can pick up the tasting cup, gently smell the aroma, and savor the tea."

Camilla raised the teacup to her lips and took a small sip.

"When you're tasting, focus on the color, aroma, taste, and shape of the tea to really appreciate the art."

Camilla's movements were smooth, and her explanations were clear and easy to follow.

Amara's palms started to sweat. She wanted to back out, but with so many people watching, she had no choice but to stand her ground.

After finishing, Camilla stood up and gave a deep bow to the crowd.

There was a moment of silence, then thunderous applause erupted.

"Bravo!"

"That was amazing!"

Bianca Jenkins from the Jenkins Group, who made her fortune in the tea business, had come because she heard there would be a really good tea master giving a lecture.

She didn't expect the tea master to be so young, which made her a bit skeptical.

'Young people lack experience; they can't truly understand tea,' she thought.

But after seeing Camilla's elegant tea-making process and hearing her captivating explanation, Bianca was genuinely impressed.

Many tea masters started with theory, spouting grand principles, but when it came to making a pot of tea, they fall short.

As someone who grew up surrounded by tea and made a fortune from it, Bianca couldn't stand that.

But Camilla was different!

She not only spoke well but also had excellent skills.

Her entire tea-making process was smooth, and her control over each step was precise.

Truly impressive!

Camilla stepped down from the stage and walked up to Amara. "Now, can we agree that I earned my certificate on my own?"

Amara was forced to back up step by step.

"So, shouldn't you keep your promise?"

Amara's back was soaked with cold sweat. She never expected Camilla to actually know so much about tea!

Not just a superficial understanding, but a certified, hands-on expert!

Elodie was also stunned. When Camilla was with Leopold, she seemed mediocre in every way. Elodie never saw any standout qualities in her.

How did she become so impressive after leaving Leopold?

Standing on the stage, Camilla's impact on Elodie was just as strong as on Amara.

For a moment, looking at Camilla, Elodie even felt a faint sense of inferiority!

Amara was on the verge of tears, desperately seeking help from Elodie with her eyes, but Elodie sat there like she had lost her soul, ignoring her completely.

Finally, with no other option, Amara conceded, "I admit you're impressive. I'll apologize, okay? Do you have to push it this far?"

Before Camilla could respond, Bianca couldn't stand it anymore and frowned deeply. "How rude! Camilla has answered all your doubts, and now you want to back out? Not a chance."

"Exactly, Camilla is so outstanding. Someone needs to consider their own worth before challenging her."

The ladies began to collectively condemn Amara, and soon, Elodie was also implicated.
