Chapter 231 Sebastian, I'm Dressed

Camilla nodded, "It's okay."

"Thanks."

As soon as Sebastian stepped in, the cold air hit him, a stark contrast to his own home.

It wasn't Sebastian's first time here. He changed into the house slippers.

Camilla went into the kitchen to pour him a glass of water.

It was already 4 PM, and guessing he might have already eaten, Camilla still thoughtfully asked, "Have you had lunch?"

Sebastian said, "Yeah."

"How about some fruit? I just cut some." Saying that, Camilla went back into the kitchen and came out with a fruit platter.

Sebastian replied, "Thanks."

Camilla also sat down on the sofa, picked up a piece of cantaloupe with a toothpick, and asked while eating, "Did they say when the air conditioner will be fixed?"

He said, "It's not hard to fix, but a part needs to be replaced. They don't have it in their bag, so they have to get it from a nearby repair shop. If it's completely fixed, it might take another two or three hours."

Camilla said, "That's pretty quick. Don't worry, just stay here for now and go back when it's fixed. It's too uncomfortable without air conditioning in this weather."

"Thanks. You go on, don't mind me."

"Okay." Camilla nodded.

Before she went into the bedroom, she paused, turned to look at Sebastian, and suddenly said, "If you want to take a shower, the bathroom is over there."

She pointed.

Sebastian's shirt was almost entirely wet, the fabric clinging to his body, even faintly outlining the muscles of his shoulders and back. Entering the air-conditioned room, the fabric would soon become cold.

The sudden change in temperature wasn't just uncomfortable; it could easily make him sick.

Hearing this, Sebastian choked, with half a piece of cantaloupe still in his mouth, unable to swallow or spit it out.

Quickly, he recovered and hurriedly said, "No need, I'll go back to shower and come back after."

"Okay." Camilla nodded, "That's fine too. If you feel any signs of a cold, like sneezing, stuffy nose, or runny nose, let me know. I have some cold prevention medicine."

"Okay."

Sebastian went home.

Camilla went into the bedroom.

She still had a paper to finish reading. Today must borrow nothing of tomorrow.

Half an hour later, Camilla closed her laptop.

She stretched her arms high, leaned back, and had a good stretch.

With a guest at home and it being the weekend, there were quite a few fresh ingredients in the fridge from yesterday. No matter what, She thought she should at least treat her guest to dinner.

Camilla opened the fridge and looked around, deciding on a few dishes for tonight.

The living room was empty, so Sebastian probably hadn't come back yet.

Camilla took off her jacket and hung it on the coat rack in the corner of the living room.

It was a bit cold in the bedroom with the air conditioning blowing directly, so she had put on a cardigan over her short sleeves.

But soon she felt hot again.

Camilla decided to take off the short sleeves, leaving only the tank top underneath, which was just right with the cardigan, not too hot or cold.

But she was about to go into the kitchen, which was stuffy and hot, so she couldn't wear the long-sleeved cardigan.

So Camilla decided to change back into her short sleeves.

There was a loose short-sleeved T-shirt hanging on the coat rack, and she could hang the cardigan there too, so she didn't go back to the bedroom to change, just did it in the living room.

After all, Sebastian hadn't come back yet.

However, just as she was down to her tank top and had just taken down the T-shirt, the bathroom door suddenly opened from the inside.

Sebastian walked out.

And the bathroom door faced the coat rack directly.

So, they couldn't avoid it and bumped into each other!

Sebastian was holding his changed clothes, his hair still wet, dripping water.

It quickly soaked his T-shirt.

His neck and cheeks were also wet.

The moment he saw Camilla, his mind went blank!

Camilla was wearing a black tank top, the tight fabric outlining her full and graceful upper body curves.

The tank top was a bit short, revealing a bit of her waist, with a small belly button clearly visible.

Slender arms, defined collarbones. Just like the Camilla in his dreams.

Camilla froze in place.

She forgot to put on the T-shirt in her hand and just stood there dumbfounded.

Camilla said, "Sebastian."

Sebastian snapped out of it, immediately turned his back, took a deep breath, and tried to make his voice sound calm. "Sorry, I used your bathroom."

But only Sebastian knew how tight his throat felt, how dry his mouth was, and how his breathing almost stopped with just that short sentence.

Something was pounding wildly in his chest, as if it would burst out the next second.

Sebastian had planned to go home to shower.

But when he took his clean clothes into the bathroom, he found a bunch of repairmen inside.

In old buildings, there wasn't a fixed place for the air conditioner unit.

So, the outdoor unit was usually hung on the exterior wall.

Sebastian's outdoor unit was just outside the bathroom wall, and the repairmen had already put on safety ropes, hanging out of the bathroom window to fix the unit.

Even normal use of the bathroom was impossible then.

So, Sebastian went to Camilla's place.

He had planned to tell her, but stopped at the bedroom door.

He thought, 'Would I disturb her? Maybe Camilla is sleeping? Anyway, it will only take a few minutes, and it shouldn't be such a coincidence, right?'

But it was!

Camilla quickly put on the T-shirt and stammered, "I thought you weren't here, so..."

So awkward!

Seeing Sebastian's back, Camilla's cheeks turned red. "Sebastian, I'm dressed, you can turn around now."

Sebastian turned around.

Their eyes met again, the air filled with awkwardness and a hint of subtle ambiguity.

Camilla quickly looked away and went into the bedroom.

Leaning against the wardrobe door, she took a few deep breaths to calm down.

But the blush on her cheeks didn't fade quickly. Looking at herself in the mirror, her eyes were bright, and her breathing was slightly rapid.

When she came back to the living room, Camilla had a dry towel in her hand.

She handed it to Sebastian nonchalantly. "Sebastian, it's clean, you can dry your hair."

"Oh, okay!" Sebastian reacted a beat late, stood up, and took it.

Camilla pointed to where the hairdryer was. "It's over there, you can use it."

"Okay."

Then she turned and went into the kitchen.

Soon, Sebastian followed her in.

His hair was already dry, the soft strands falling over his forehead, giving him a gentler look, less stern.

He said, "Let me help."
