Chapter 275 Stay with Me for Two Days

Camilla finally agreed.

Leopold smirked, handed the phone back to Mira, and then happily went upstairs.

Mira held the phone and couldn't help but sigh. Leopold hadn't smiled like that in a long time.

In the early morning, Camilla was woken up by the phone vibrating non-stop by her pillow. It wasn't even her usual wake-up time. She half-squinted her eyes, unlocked it, and found dozens of nonsensical messages from Leopold:

[Camilla, are you awake?]

[I dreamed about you last night.]

[Still sleeping?]

[Do you have class this morning?]

[I checked Clara's schedule, and you have a professional course this morning.]

Camilla glanced at them expressionlessly, too lazy to scroll up.

Just as she was about to put down her phone, another message came through: [Camilla, I bought your favorite breakfast, and now I'm downstairs at your place. No rush, I'll wait for you.]

Camilla frowned, got out of bed, walked through the living room to the balcony, and sure enough, saw Leopold standing downstairs with breakfast. She was helpless.

Leopold seemed to sense something and suddenly looked up. Their eyes met, but before he could speak, Camilla closed the window and went back to bed. She didn't sleep well, but lying down a bit longer was still comfortable.

At seven, she got up, had a quick breakfast, and went downstairs.

Leopold saw her, his eyes lit up, and he immediately smiled and greeted her. "Camilla, I bought these sandwiches and waffles from the breakfast place you used to go to. But they're cold now, you might need to heat them in the microwave."

Camilla said indifferently, "I've already eaten at home; you can keep them for yourself."

Leopold wasn't upset. "Alright, I'll eat them. I don't have to go to the office today, so I'll take you to school."

"No need. It's a three-minute walk to school from here."

"Then I'll walk with you."

"Leopold, can you..."

But before she could finish, Leopold smiled and said, "We can talk bout the signing while we walk."

Camilla was silent.

"Is that okay?"

"Whatever."

Leopold curled his lips and stepped up to follow. "Camilla, wait for me."

She deliberately quickened her pace. Seeing Camilla like this, Leopold couldn't help but smile. Soon, they arrived at the school gate.

Camilla couldn't bear it anymore. "When are you going to sign?"

"You said yesterday that we could discuss the terms. Is that offer still on the table?"

Camilla asked directly, "What are your terms?"

"Spend two days with me, agreeing to all my requests. After that, I'll sign immediately."

Camilla sneered. "I can't believe you just said that. Yes, I do need you to sign this informed consent form, but I'm not going to compromise myself for it, am I?"

"Just two days," Leopold looked at Camilla, his eyes deep, "Do you really hate me that much?"

Camilla said coldly, "Yes, you are that annoying."

She strode into the school gate, leaving Leopold smiling bitterly. "I didn't mean anything by it. Do you really think I'm that bad?"

Camilla went to class, then to the lab with Hestia and Royce. They had five days left to get the first phase of the experimental data out before the deadline.

However, when they arrived at the lab, they found the door open and several cleaners moving things.

Hestia asked angrily, "What are you doing? Who let you in? These are our things, and where are you taking them?!"

They had put a lot of effort into setting up the lab, making it their second home. So when strangers came in and started moving things without a word, Hestia was furious.

"Stop! Do you hear me?!"

The cleaners looked at each other, confused. They innocently,  "The school told us to move these."

Camilla remained calm. "Can you tell us who specifically told you?"

"It was Calliope. She said this lab failed the fire inspection and told us to move everything out for subsequent renovations."

"Her again!" Hestia gritted her teeth, "We still have five days, but she couldn't wait even a moment. She had to kick us out to be happy!"

How could there be such a despicable person in the world? And she calls herself a teacher?

The cleaner scratched his head awkwardly. "Sorry, we're just following orders."

Camilla just said, "It's almost noon. You guys go have lunch first, and we'll talk in the afternoon."

"Alright. We'll leave for now."

Hestia's eyes were red with anger. "What do we do, Camilla? We still have over ten sets of data to process. If they really don't let us use the lab, what are we going to do?"

Although they had decided to build their own lab, it would take some time. For now, they needed to complete the first phase of the experiment before starting data analysis. And all the backlog of data needed to be processed first. Being asked to leave now has completely disrupted their plans.

"This is too much. Does she think the school belongs to her, that she owns Harmony College?"

Just as Hestia was cursing, a voice came. "So lively! Let me see which fatty is yelling?"

Noe walked over with his hands in his pockets, smiling.

Hestia's eyes widened as she exclaimed angrily, "What did you say? You're the fatty!"

"If I were you, I'd move out voluntarily rather than being kicked out." Noe's smug look was infuriating.

Camilla squinted her eyes, pulled the jumping Hestia back, and said calmly, "Forget it, let's pack up."

"Camilla!"

Noe smirked. "Why didn't you do this earlier? Do I have to kick you out? Isn't that pathetic?"

As Camilla picked up a piece of lab equipment and lowered her head, her hand slipped as she passed by him, followed by a scream.
