Chapter 134 Get Out of Here.
Harper sneered, "Chloe, I'm telling you, I don't want Francis, that piece of trash. What's there to boast about?"
Chloe wasn't angry at all but rather quite satisfied.
She wished she could curse harder.
She couldn't believe that even in this situation, Francis would still want this despicable woman.
It's probably the next second he'll be dragging her to divorce.
Harper's thin lips parted slightly as she continued, "Since you're so eager to pick up my leftovers, I'll make way for you. I wish your relationship all the intimacy it deserves. After all, scum and trash suit each other well."
One sentence made Francis pause behind her. His handsome face turned terrifying.
Scum? When did Harper's words become so sharp?
Chloe didn't like this either and angrily retorted, "Who is it that you can call trash?"
"I almost forgot; your job should be a man's mistress." Harper's lips curled into a cold smile, which made Chloe's expression even more embarrassed.
Harper smirked, "You can rest assured that even if you manage to take my place, it won't change the fact that you interfered in our marriage. This fact will haunt you for the rest of your life, so you better behave and not provoke me anymore."
Chloe's face twisted upon hearing this, not because of Francis but because of Harper.
But she held back and was willing to endure a little longer as long as she could become Francis' wife.
Faced with Harper's threat, she pitifully asked, "What do you mean? Are you threatening me?"
Harper coldly smiled, "Yes, I am threatening you. I have nothing left now. Do you think I'm still afraid?"
Chloe secretly rejoiced.
This was exactly the effect she wanted, to show Francis Harper's fierce side.
Seeing Francis approaching, she knew the timing was right.
Tears welled up in her eyes as if she had just seen something terrifying, she trembled as she cried out, "Francis, help me."
Facing Chloe's ever-changing attitude, Harper's cold smile deepened.
Did Chloe think she was the only one who saw Francis?
She saw it, too!
She deliberately said those words.
If these words could provoke Francis to divorce her, she wouldn't mind cursing more and kicking more.
She could act repeatedly.
She grabbed Chloe's hair and then slapped her hard.
Chloe wanted Francis to see her go crazy.
Then, she would go even crazier.
Harper picked up the shattered glass from the ground, pressed it against Chloe's face, and sneered, "Who do you expect to help you? What if I cut up your face? What would happen?"
Chloe was frightened.
What was wrong with this crazy woman?
How could she still be acting crazy when she heard Francis coming?
She didn't dare to joke about her face, collapsed, and wailed, "Francis, help me."
Finally, a figure rushed over from behind, snatched the broken glass from her hand, and pulled her away.
But Harper, as light as a feather, was slammed into the bedside table like a piece of paper.
Instantly, her face was so painful that a cold sweat broke out.
Francis' expression changed. He instinctively crouched down, reached out to help her up, and anxiously asked, "Are you hurt?"
The next moment, his hands were ruthlessly pushed away.
"Get out of here."
Harper's pale face revealed an undisguised look of disgust.
Francis' hands froze in the air, and his expression was particularly irate.
Suddenly, he felt a tightness on his back as someone embraced him.
Chloe, as if grasping at the last bit of hope, hugged Francis tightly and trembled all over.
She was so terrified that she stammered. "Francis, Harper is crazy. My knees... she crushed them. I'm in so much pain. You have to help me. She's gone mad, and she wants to kill me."
The nurse also came in, who was startled by the chaos in the room, and quickly helped Harper onto the bed.
The wound on Harper's ear, reopened by Chloe's collision with the wheelchair, continued to bleed, but she seemed oblivious but watched Francis and Chloe entangled with a mocking gaze.
Chloe was helped onto the wheelchair by Francis, but she still tightly held his hands, cried, and trembled all over as if genuinely scared.
Her acting was really good.
If it were the old Harper, she would have been afraid of being misunderstood and would have panicked to explain.
But now, she was left with despair.
She just wanted to divorce quickly, to get as far away from them as possible, and never to see them again in this lifetime.
Although Chloe held onto Francis, his eyes were still worriedly fixed on Harper.
He instructed the nurse, "Get the doctor now."
Chloe thought Francis was calling the doctor to check on her injuries, so she held his hands tightly, trembling, and said, "Francis, I don't want to be here. Harper is crazy. I'm so scared. Take me away."
Harper sneered, "Yes, Mr. Getty, hurry and take your beloved to get treatment. Otherwise, I'm afraid I won't be able to resist choking her, and you'll be even more heartbroken then."
Francis frowned, pushed away Chloe's hands, walked towards Harper, and reached out to explain, "Harper, I didn't..."
"Francis."
Chloe suddenly grabbed his sleeve as he approached, panicking. "Be careful. Harper is really crazy. Because you saved me, she blamed us for the miscarriage and wants to kill us. Don't get close..."
Harper couldn't stand hearing about the miscarriage, but Chloe kept mentioning it to provoke her.
Francis wanted to stop it, but it was too late.
"Get out. Get out of here."
Harper roared, and her moist eyes were overwhelmed by excitement, glaring at them.
Seeing him standing still, she grabbed the crystal vase from the bedside table and fiercely smashed it towards him.
With a dull thud, the sharp crystal edge hit Francis's chest, making his face turn pale.
"Help. Help."
Chloe screamed frantically and looked terrified of Harper.
After the doctor came in, Chloe was still trembling. "Doctor, you need to see if this woman is crazy. Should she be transferred to a mental hospital? She wants to kill..."
"Shut up," Francis coldly interrupted Chloe before she could finish speaking.
Then he pushed Chloe's wheelchair out of the ward and even forced her back in with care.
Once inside the room, Francis closed the door with hands in his pockets. He looked at Chloe and asked, "What did you say to Harper?"
