Chapter 254 Say You Love Me

Harper sat there, utterly stunned. She had thought they had an understanding, some unspoken connection, but clearly, she had been mistaken. Francis’s expression made it clear that bringing it up would be a mistake—she could almost hear the mockery in his unspoken words.

With a casual motion, Francis brushed her hair away from her face, a cruel smirk playing on his lips. "You really thought getting back together was anything more than an excuse to sleep with you?"

The water in the tub rippled.

Francis stepped in, coldly staring at her, "Front or back?"

Harper trembled, wanting to escape, but he grabbed her ankle.

She screamed, clinging to the tub edge, her back against him.

No one could resist in that position, especially with their height difference.

Francis's eyes darkened. He gripped her waist, "If you don't want to suffer, lift yourself."

Harper's face went pale. She tried to turn, but he held her ankle.

Terrified, she shook, "Francis, I don't want this. I'm scared. Why are you doing this?"

She held back tears.

"Why did you run off with him?" Francis asked coldly.

Harper gasped, tears falling into the water.

"I didn't."

Her voice broke.

Francis's eyes were dark. The camera showed Keith hugging her, and she hadn't struggled as they got into the car.

He tracked Keith's car.

He saw them cuddling. If he hadn't intervened, they would've had sex.

And the child, was it from last time?

Was it conceived before Keith had gone abroad? It explained his recovery; he had something to be happy about.

Harper clung to the tub edge, "Francis, can you listen to me?"

"I didn't," she couldn't speak anymore.

Francis's eyes were bloodshot, his grip strong. Her explanations turned into pleas.

To protect her belly, she cooperated. The whole process was intense, and the night felt long.

By the end, it was the middle of the night.

Francis carried Harper to bed. She was exhausted.

She had begged, saying things she didn't want to recall because they were too degrading.

She just wanted to stop Francis from going crazy. But he wasn't done.

In bed, his gaze changed again. Harper, treated with his intense love, had a flushed face and a disheveled sexiness.

Francis's Adam's apple bobbed, feeling aroused again.

He hadn't touched Harper in a while, and the bathtub session hadn't satisfied him.

Harper's face twisted in pain. She felt swollen and sore.

"Francis, Keith kidnapped me. I didn't run off with him," she hurried to explain.

She hoped this would make Francis stop.

"Is that your excuse after everything?" Francis sneered.

Harper's face went pale. He didn't believe her!

"Really, I have no reason to lie," she insisted.

Francis just gave a cold smile.

If he hadn't seen the camera footage, he might've believed her.

"So, he kidnapped you, and you happily got in the car?" Francis's eyes were full of sarcasm.

He'd watched it three times. She hadn't struggled.

Even if he wanted to believe her, he couldn't.

Harper knew he might've seen the surveillance. She hadn't struggled to protect the child.

"He threatened me," she said.

"With what?" Francis asked.

"He threatened me with..." Harper trailed off. The pain of losing the child was still fresh.

She had sworn to protect this child, even planning to go overseas to keep it from Francis.

There was no love left, only scars.

She couldn't let Francis decide the fate of her child.

Silence hung in the air.

Francis laughed coldly.

"What?" he asked, untying his bath towel. "If not, I'll continue."

Harper couldn't stop him from using her again.

Later, Francis gripped her, eyes bloodshot, "Say you love me, say it!"

Harper bit her lip, refusing. She only felt hatred.

In the end, she cried and cursed him.

"Francis, you bastard, I hate you. I hate you to my core."

The freshly changed sheets were ruined.

After washing her, Francis took her to the guest room.

Harper was exhausted, lying on the bed, gasping.

She felt like an object, not a person.

Seeing her weak state, Francis took a towel to wipe her down.

As he approached, Harper flinched, "Don't touch me. Don't touch me."
