Chapter 633 Children Are Just Bargaining Chips
Robert spoke coldly, "Whether it's twenty-six years or thirty-six years, anyone who disobeys orders and acts on their own, even if it's an eagle, is less useful to me than a mouse."
Zack felt a chill in his heart, listening to Robert's reminder, he couldn't help but feel bitter.
Robert was his master, and Zack had always held Robert in high regard, but years of loyalty still couldn't compare to Molly.
It wasn't until Zack's fingers turned purple-black, feeling like they would be useless in the next second, that Robert finally lowered the window.
Zack's hand was completely numb, and he used his other hand to move the numb one.
Robert said, "There will be no next time."
The car roared away.
Zack collapsed to the ground, he didn't understand, did he really do something wrong?
That vicious woman Molly, who thought every day about how to make Robert die, was so tenacious and had her child taken by Robert, would never be content.
Zack just wanted to solve the problem for Robert in advance, so why did Robert still have lingering feelings for Molly?
Clearly, Rosie was better, more helpful to the Perot Group, and utterly devoted to Robert.
Compared to Rosie, Molly was completely worthless!
Zack just couldn't figure it out.
Anyway, as long as it involved Robert's personal safety, he would stop at nothing, no one could stop him.
Zack's eyes were determined, not even Molly could.
Molly's car was flipped over by Rhett's car.
But fortunately, the car rolled into a mud pit on the side, the soft ground absorbed some of the impact, and the airbag deployed in time, she was wearing a seatbelt, so no more serious injuries were caused.
Molly was briefly knocked unconscious.
When she woke up, she felt like her spine was broken, the pain was excruciating.
She frowned, forcefully tore off the seatbelt, and tried to crawl out of the car.
The window was shattered, but not completely, Molly had to use her hands to pry open the broken glass.
The shards cut her hands, and blood was dripping, but she didn't care and crawled out.
Molly looked around, it was desolate, with no cars, and no way to call for help.
And her phone was completely destroyed in the crash.
Molly looked back, Rhett's car had crashed into a tree, just a few feet away, and was smoking.
Music was coming from Rhett's car, like a phone ringtone, Molly felt a glimmer of hope, limped over, and saw Rhett's phone had fallen into the gap next to the passenger seat, still flashing, surprisingly not broken.
Rhett was still unconscious.
Molly reached out, trying to get Rhett's phone to call for help.
But the phone was a bit low, Molly tried once, but couldn't reach it.
Molly had to twist her head to the side, and stretch her arm as far as she could to reach the phone.
Finally, she got the phone!
Just as she was about to take it out, a drop of wet liquid dripped onto her hand, she felt a discomfort in her heart, then a few more drops fell.
Molly pulled her hand back a bit, making it easier to turn her head and look.
At first glance, she was startled.
She saw Rhett holding her with a bloodied hand, gasping, "Help...help me."
Molly then noticed Rhett's other hand was stuck under the steering wheel, there was a gap there, Rhett's left hand was crushed into it by the impact, it looked very painful.
And Rhett's weak appearance suggested he had broken quite a few ribs.
He couldn't move and had to rely on Molly.
"Save me, please," Rhett said pitifully.
Molly looked at Rhett with some distrust, thinking about how he had just tried to crash into her like a madman, she didn't want to save him.
As long as she got his phone, she should be able to find evidence in it, and Rhett was useless to her.
Rhett seemed to see that she didn't want to save him, desperately said, "Ms. Koch, I'm useful, that person is so powerful, just taking my phone won't be enough, I can testify for you, prove that someone instructed me to switch the samples, isn't that what you want?"
Molly was tempted by Rhett's words.
Indeed, Robert was so resourceful, just the phone might not be enough to overturn him, if she had Rhett as a witness, it would be even better.
Seeing Molly was tempted, Rhett continued, "Look at me, I'm not your match, don't worry, save me, I can't hurt you."
The car was still smoking, it could explode at any moment, Rhett couldn't pull out his trapped hand by himself.
Rhett pleaded, "Ms. Koch, please save me, I have a two-year-old child at home, she just learned to talk, and just started calling me daddy, I can't die, if I die, my child won't have a father."
Rhett knew Molly was doing all this to fight for custody, which meant she cared a lot about children.
So mentioning the child was surely Molly's soft spot.
Actually, Rhett never planned to take his wife and that annoying crying child with him.
Rhett had never experienced the pain of childbirth, and was inherently lazy, unambitious, and vain, how could such a person have any feelings for a child?
But at this moment, the child was a bargaining chip.
Rhett knew women would soften when they heard about children.
Rhett kept pleading, looking weak and pitiful.
He kept talking about how cute, well-behaved, and lovable his daughter was.
Molly didn't believe Rhett at first, but after hearing about the child, she softened.
Rhett did have a daughter who just learned to talk, if he died, his child would be too pitiful.
No matter what the father was like, the child was innocent.
Molly couldn't bear to see another family broken.
Finally, she went around to the other side, broke the remaining window, and tried to pull Rhett's trapped hand out.
Rhett wanted to curse her, but changed his tone, saying, "Careful, it hurts."
Molly said irritably, "Doing bad things requires punishment, can't take this pain, and still thinking of doing bad things?"
Rhett swallowed his curses and said, "I know, be gentle."
With a sound, Rhett's hand was finally pulled out from the trapped dashboard by Molly.
Rhett screamed in pain.
