Chapter 178 No Matter What, She Won't Love Him

Even though Wesley saw that Francis spoke so heartlessly, he didn't quite believe it.

"You talk so decisively, but you haven't stopped entangling with her," He said.

Francis held the stem of the wine glass with two fingers as if he were going to crush it. "I mean it this time. From now on, whatever she does has nothing to do with me."

Wesley still wanted to console him a bit. "What did Harper do?"

Robert sneered lightly from the side, "It's just a woman. Find a few more and enjoy their services, and you'll be happy."

Francis held a cigarette between his fingers and said indifferently, "Not interested."

Robert raised an eyebrow and said, "What? Do you have no sexual desire for anyone but her?"

Francis glanced at him, frowning. "It's not what you think."

He didn't know if he would have sexual desire for other women, as he had never tried.

But just like Robert said, it seemed he only thought about sex when he saw Harper. He couldn't muster any interest in other women.

Francis irritably put the cigarette in his mouth and took a deep drag.

Wesley lightly kicked Robert and chuckled, "That's enough. If I call a woman over now, would you sleep with her?"

Robert raised his eyebrows and said, "Why not? If you're paying, I'm definitely on board."

"Get lost." Wesley kicked him again, his eyes smiling mischievously. "I know you've been glued to Ms. Koch lately. Are you feeling nostalgic?"

Robert shook his head and said, "No, it's just that I've been in a good mood recently."

When he thought of Molly, Robert's Adam's apple bobbed. She had indeed been more obedient lately.

Ever since she said she still liked him, having sex with her felt very different.

It had become somewhat addictive, not just a way to vent his desires.

Wesley squinted at him and said, "You're just showing off."

Robert turned his head and said, "It's normal for a man to have desires. Unlike you, who seem to be impotent."

Wesley brought trouble upon himself and rolled his eyes at Robert.

Robert laughed, "Are you really impotent?"

Wesley smiled wickedly and said deliberately, "What? You want to see me in bed?"

Robert shuddered and said, "Get lost."

He tilted his head back and finished the wine in his glass, saying, "I'm leaving. You guys have fun."

Wesley watched Robert leave in disgust, then turned to Francis and said, "It's good to let go of Harper for now. Let Ryan lower his guard. Once he's comfortable, he'll contact his bastard, and you can confront him. It'll be easier to deal with."

Francis listened without much expression, not revealing what he was thinking.

Wesley sighed and said, "Don't be mad at Miss Sullivan. Just take it as a joke. At least for now, just wait."

Francis still showed no expression.

Wesley propped his fingers against his temple and complained, "I'm really unlucky. I invested in your family, and as the major shareholder, you don't worry about it. But I'm worried and afraid your dad will hand the company to his bastard."

Francis said calmly, "It's fine. Even if Ryan gives the company to his bastard, you can still withdraw your investment. No loss for you."

Weasley said, "You're beyond help."

Wesley said, "Don't ignore what I said. I see Miss Sullivan is quite satisfied with you. I think you should at least be a bit gentler with her. And talk with her."

Wesley shared his experience, saying, "You need to know that when a woman has feelings for you, a few words from you can soften her heart. Once she no longer cares about you, nothing you say or do will matter."

His words slightly moved Francis.

Indeed, Harper, the heartless woman, no longer had feelings for him.

Not only did she not care about him, but she also learned to stab him in the heart.

But fortunately, he was clear-headed now. After finishing a cigarette, he felt more composed.

Francis said, "Since Ryan wants the Sullivan family's new energy, we should help him get it as soon as possible."

Wesley raised an eyebrow and said, "You mean to set up a fake scenario?"

"Not a fake scenario, a real one." Francis tapped the table with his long, beautiful fingers and said, "The Sullivan family isn't stupid. They won't tie their company's development to their daughter's marriage. Show them the benefits of a win-win cooperation, and they'll naturally be attracted."

Wesley felt relieved. Francis always hit the mark.

He said leisurely, "If you could be as clear-headed in your relationships, you wouldn't have ended up divorced."

Indeed, God is fair. If he gives you an extraordinary skill, he must weaken another.

Francis rubbed his forehead, unhappy. "Don't mention her. She has nothing to do with me."

He repeated the same line.

Wesley smiled noncommittally.

If a man truly thinks that way, he won't keep emphasizing it.

Repeating it might just be to deceive himself.

Robert left and went to Silverleaf Suites.

This was one of his many properties.

Recently, he had placed Molly here.

When he was downstairs, he immediately saw the dim yellow light on the 18th floor, a signal that Molly was home.

He stood there smoking, looking at the light, and feeling indescribable emotions.

Although he still hated her, sometimes he thought it wasn't so bad to maintain the current state.

After finishing a cigarette, he went inside and took the elevator, feeling happy.

It was the inexplicable and unspoken anticipation of seeing someone.

Just before opening the door, Robert's phone dinged.

He received two video clips.

He frowned slightly and squinted to open them.

The first clip was of Molly and Harper having a meal at the mall and about their conversation.

Harper asked her, "Do you still love Robert?"

Molly replied, "No. Do you think I'm crazy? No matter what, I won't fall in love with him. I just recently found a way to deal with him, and it's quite effective."

Harper frowned, her eyes full of worry. "Don't do anything stupid. If you anger Robert, I'm afraid he'll hurt you."

Molly smiled and said, "Robert seems tough, but he's still as gullible as before. Easy to fool."

The video ended abruptly.

In just thirty seconds, Robert's mood had completely changed.

He appeared calm and opened the second clip.

It was early morning. Molly and a young man were eating at a restaurant by the roadside, chatting and laughing, and they looked like a couple from a distance.

Robert knew who sent the video.

He forwarded the second clip to his assistant Hayes's phone and left a voice message.

"In five minutes, I want all the information on this man."

Then, Robert pushed open the heavy door with a blank expression.
