Chapter 403 Do you want me to feed you?

When Robert heard that, he raised an eyebrow, a flicker of coldness in his eyes.

Lydia, on the other hand, just stared at Molly for a bit.

The woman in front of her was indeed a knockout.

She had these classic, foxy eyes with long lashes, rocking some light professional makeup. Even though she was dressed like average office worker, she had this irresistible vibe.

Lydia smirked, "Robert, I always thought you weren't into chicks. Didn't expect you to go for this type."

Lydia's words hit Molly like a ton of bricks.

Before Robert could even crack a smile, Molly shot back, "I'm not his woman."

Robert's face went stiff.

Lydia chuckled gracefully, "Don't get all worked up. I was just messing with Robert."

Then, Lydia pulled out a chair and said, "Robert, since we bumped into each other, how about we share a table?"

Robert stayed silent.

Molly's hands clenched under the table.

After Lydia sat down, she pulled out the chair next to her and called Kyle, "Kyle, grab a seat."

Once Kyle sat down, the table was full.

Lydia faced Robert while Molly faced Kyle.

Just then, the fragrant oatmeal porridge was served.

Lydia took a whiff and said with a bright smile, "Smells amazing. Kyle, let's get some too."

Kyle shrugged, "You can order for yourself. I'm good."

"Are you sure? You barely ate dinner," Lydia asked.

Kyle replied coolly, "Yeah, I'm fine."

Lydia looked at Kyle's cold, handsome profile, feeling both fond and shy, she said playfully, "I can share mine with you."

They sounded so close, no one would believe they just met today.

Molly quickly glanced across the table, the steam from the fragrant oatmeal porridge blurring Kyle's cold and delicate face.

She couldn't see his expression at the moment.

Kyle didn't respond, so Lydia took it as a yes and happily ordered a bowl of oatmeal porridge.

Then, Lydia noticed Molly hadn't touched her food and said cheerfully, "Go ahead, don't mind us."

Molly lowered her eyes, the word 'us' echoing in her ears. She couldn't even force a smile.

This Lydia, she knew, was Robert's cousin's daughter.

Back when Robert was struggling, his cousin had taken care of him, so he was grateful and always helped Lydia out.

His cousin's family was already well-off, and after joining forces, the company's profits soared. Lydia was their only daughter, so she was always pampered.

Privately, Molly didn't want Kyle to have any ties with the Perot family.

She didn't know what Kyle was up to, but if it was what she thought, it was absolutely unacceptable.

No one was eating.

Suddenly, Robert reached out and grabbed one of Molly's hands, interlocking their fingers and placing them gently on the table.

Robert held her hand tightly, his rough touch sending heat straight to her heart.

Molly wanted to pull away, but Robert's grip was so strong it felt like her slender hand was about to break.

The pain shot straight to her heart, and Molly frowned.

Robert, with a stern expression, said calmly, "Why aren't you eating? Want me to feed you?"

Lydia cheered and laughed, "Robert, this is the first time I've seen you like this, so bossy."

Robert still looked down at Molly and said, "Didn't you used to make this for me every day? This place doesn't taste as good as yours, but it's the best I could find. When you're not around, I often come here."

Robert's words, dripping with tenderness, made him seem like a total romantic.

Usually, Robert was a man of few words, and Lydia felt like she was getting a peek behind the curtain today.

She was surprised and asked, "Robert, have you known her for long?"

Robert, cold as ice, said, "Call her Molly."

"Molly," Lydia repeated, then clapped her hands to her mouth. "She's Molly."

She was the woman Robert had been crazy about for ten years!

Lydia looked amazed and said, "Finally, I see the woman who has Robert so head over heels."

These words hit Molly like a ton of bricks.

Molly knew Lydia didn't know the whole story, which explained why she said that.

If everything Robert did was out of infatuation with her, then he was truly a complete psychopath.

The steam from the oatmeal porridge blurred everyone's vision.

No one saw Kyle's knuckles turning white from gripping so hard, his clear eyes becoming hazy with steam, the distance of a table isolating him from everyone else.

Molly smelled the oatmeal porridge, the churning feeling in her stomach almost overwhelming her.

Her face grew increasingly pale, and she struggled to free her hand.

This instinctive rejection made Robert's dark eyes grow colder.

The colder Robert's face became, the more his deadly charm that fascinated women became apparent.

Some people were more attractive when they didn't smile, and Robert was one of them.

This charm, combined with danger, could almost captivate half of Northfield's women.

Passing waitresses occasionally blushed as they stole glances at the handsome and out-of-place Robert.

Lydia was long used to such looks from women.

Robert had always been very handsome, with a cold, almost aloof kind of attractiveness. But he was so cold that, sometimes, it gave people a chilling sense of alienation.

Lydia still preferred Kyle, who was charming with his friendly smile, clean eyes, and warm presence.

Molly had endured for a long time; if it weren't for the crowd, she would have acted out already.

Just as she was desperately trying to break free, Robert's large hand suddenly tightened around her delicate palm.

With a few terrifying smiles on his handsome face, he whispered in her ear, "Behave, and I might consider giving your cousin's company a chance."

Molly's heart almost jumped into her throat, and she looked up at Robert sharply.

Robert's face was as usual, showing no emotion, as if the words she just heard were her imagination.

Molly stopped struggling, her expression contemplative.

Did Robert know, or was he testing her?

Robert's dark eyes were deep. His grip loosened slightly but didn't let go. Instead, he used his right hand to scoop up a spoonful of oatmeal porridge and fed it to her.

The blood quickly returned to Molly's pale hand, and after a few seconds, she slightly opened her lips and swallowed the spoonful of oatmeal porridge she loathed from Robert's hand.

Lydia watched without blinking, her ears burning, and clicked her tongue with a smile.

It was the first time she had seen Robert so tender, looking at Molly with such a heated gaze. He must really love her!

Then, Lydia blushed and turned to look at Kyle.

"Kyle," She called out affectionately.

She also wanted to be pampered like that, but today was their first date. Wouldn't that be too fast?

However, she really liked Kyle.
