Chapter 624 He Doesn't Want You Anymore?

A single sentence made Molly's face change.

She had now come to her senses, realizing she was in a hospital, and all her memories before she fell unconscious had returned.

She saw Kyle, and a kind of puzzling expression appeared on her face.

Robert squinted his eyes, finding it glaring. "Still thinking about things you shouldn't?"

Robert's voice carried a cold mockery; it seemed he had known for a long time that Kyle had returned.

He also knew that Kyle no longer recognized Molly.

Maybe, Robert had a hand in Kyle's amnesia.

Realizing Robert definitely did it, a huge wail surged in Molly's heart.

Molly and Kyle were like two lab mice, firmly controlled by Robert and the Scott family, who decided whether they lived or died.

No matter how they struggled, the final outcome was predetermined.

Molly's mind was in turmoil, and she didn't want to think about anything for the moment. Pointing to the door, she said, "Get out."

Robert's face changed slightly, thinking he shouldn't have pitied her.

The whole night, watching Molly still restless in her sleep, Robert had a moment of softness, thinking maybe he should let her see Taylor.

But Robert also knew that once she saw Taylor, she would have those thoughts again. As soon as he let his guard down, she would take Taylor and run away.

So Robert had to fight for Taylor no matter what.

Taylor was like a kite string; as long as the string was in his hand, Molly couldn't run far.

Seeing that he didn't move, Molly directly lifted the quilt and was about to get out of bed.

Robert frowned, grabbed Molly, and angrily shouted, "What are you doing!"

Molly's eyes were full of sarcasm. "Staying under the same roof with you makes me sick. If you don't leave, I will."

Robert was not a person without a temper. Hearing this, his face turned exceptionally cold.

"Don't want to stay with me, who do you want to stay with?" he sneered, "Your boyfriend? Didn't he abandon you?"

"You did it, didn't you?" Molly wasn't asking; she was affirming.

Robert's silence directly confirmed this fact.

Kyle's treatment had a side effect that Robert knew about, but Rene didn't mention it.

The cell activation method used during the treatment would cause temporary amnesia, and if combined with certain drugs, this temporary amnesia could become long-term.

Robert didn't know how much medication Rene had given Kyle, but Rene had assured him that Kyle would forget for a period, at least over a year.

Only then did Robert let Kyle go; otherwise, how could Robert have allowed Kyle to appear in front of him unscathed?

A lot could be done in a year. Kyle could get married and have children, and Molly could give up on him.

When Kyle remembered one day, it would be a painful memory.

Robert never spared those who betrayed him. But he found that whether he beat someone to death or crippled them, it seemed it couldn't make a person give up; it only aroused the other party's fighting spirit.

This method of slowly making someone despair was much better and fit Robert's idea perfectly.

Robert attributed Molly's current resistance to Kyle's existence. Since death would only make her remember more, he would use another method to make her give up.

As long as she had no support, she would eventually learn to behave.

Molly looked at the silent Robert with only disdain left. "Robert, you always manage to reach new heights of despicableness. You are really something."

Robert wasn't the least bit angered, his face full of confident calculation. "Remember what I told you before, giving you one last chance? Are you ready to give your answer now? Have you decided whether to withdraw the lawsuit tomorrow or use this last chance?"

Robert thought that this time Molly would finally learn to behave.

He thought to himself, 'Without Kyle's support, who could she rely on? What could she do alone with Taylor?'

Molly clenched her fists, using pain to suppress her hatred. "Don't even think about taking Taylor. I won't let him become a heartless, cold-blooded person like you. People like you don't deserve to have children."

Robert's face turned icy cold; he didn't expect Molly to still be so stubborn.

He grabbed Molly's collar. "So what if I'm unworthy? He's still my child!"

"I had no choice! If I could choose, do you think I would be willing? Would Taylor be willing?"  Molly's words deeply stung Robert.

Subconsciously, he always thought Molly hated Taylor because he was his child.

He thought, 'Who does she want to have a child with, Kyle? What a delusion!'

Robert's anger surged, and he gritted his teeth. "How could you be unwilling? Do you know how many women in Northfield want to have my child? Having my child is a blessing for you. Otherwise, Molly, do you think I would let you act so recklessly?"

Molly laughed, even to the point of tears. "Robert, you are way too confident."

Molly mocked, "All the women in Northfield want to have your child? They have to first be your mistress, endure your humiliation, serve you like a maid, and be strong enough to withstand your slaps."

She coldly laughed. "Robert, there really aren't that many women in Northfield willing to suffer like that! I had no choice; knowing you are my bad luck. If I could, I would hope you would ignore me because I don't want to know you at all!"

Robert's straight posture suddenly took a step back.

The next second, a glass was crushed in Robert's hand, blood dripping from his palm.

It seemed there was no need to wait until tomorrow.

Robert raised his bloodied hand, pointing at her. "You don't want to know me, is that your choice?"

"Yes." Molly simply stated the truth.

Robert stood motionless, his 5.8-foot frame like a cold statue."Fine,"

After a while, Robert spoke, "I'll grant your wish. Molly, if you appear in court tomorrow, I won't go easy on you anymore."

In fact, saying this was also a kind of sadness for Robert.

Anyone with eyes could see that Molly didn't want any connection with Robert, but he couldn't see it.

He repeatedly reminded Molly not to violate his taboos.

Molly, however, smiled and said, "Thank you."

Love might fade, but hatred didn't. As long as she saw this person, and thought of this person, the hatred would gather again.

The pain Robert brought to Molly was so much that she couldn't forget even if she wanted to.

Robert stood in place for a while before walking out.

There was still a shocking pool of blood on the ground, dripping from his hand.

Molly looked at the blood, feeling only numbness.

She had bled more, and her whole family had almost bled dry.

Robert walked out the door, the sunlight glaringly bright.

Zack quickly approached, seeing Robert's shaky face and bloodied hand, his heart skipped a beat. "Mr. Perot, you need to bandage that hand immediately."

Saying this, Zack opened the car door for Robert to get in.

Then Zack went to the front seat, took out the first aid kit, and just as he pulled out the gauze, Robert snatched it away.

He haphazardly wrapped his hand and considered it done.

Zack said, "Mr. Perot, you should disinfect it."

"No need," Robert coldly replied.

Zack noticed Robert's particularly grim expression, knowing he must have had another unpleasant encounter with Molly.

He thought Molly was really ungrateful.

Robert had attended a major event last night, and upon receiving the news, he had left a group of important people and rushed to the hospital.

Although Zack stayed behind to handle things, the foreign CEO was still very angry and asked bluntly, "What could be so important?"

Zack had tried to brush it off, but the other party wouldn't let it go, so he had to call Robert back.

However, Robert responded, " It's okay if the deal is lost."

He said it lightly, but it was a multi-billion-dollar deal that could have put their company back in the top ten.

"Mr. Perot, where to?" Zack asked after Robert had been silent for a long time.

"Silverleaf Suites," Robert said.

Hearing that, Zack was taken aback. There was no one there, yet Robert always went there whenever he had time.

Sometimes Zack really felt sorry for Robert. Ever since receiving the court's acceptance notice, Robert's face had never looked good.

His bad mood made the entire company walk on eggshells, not daring to say a word.

Because if they weren't careful, they would be given ten times the workload.

Robert probably thought there would be some reconciliation after that phone call yesterday, which was why he rushed over.

But the outcome was still the same.

Zack understood now; when a woman stopped loving, she could be truly ruthless.

The car arrived at Silverleaf Suites, Robert waved his hand, indicating Zack didn't need to wait for him, and went up alone.

Zack watched Robert's tall figure, feeling an inexplicable sense of a wounded wolf king licking his wounds alone.

Zack didn't want Robert to be a wolf king because wolves were too loyal, having only one mate for life.

Robert opened the cold, empty door, greeted by solitude.

The tables and floors were spotless, reflecting a lonely figure.

Robert poured himself a drink, finished it, took a shower to wash away his fatigue, and returned to the bed where they once slept together.

After thinking for a long time, he told himself that tonight would be the last time he let Molly affect his emotions.

Robert had survived places of life and death and had a position in the cutthroat business world, thinking he shouldn't sink any further for a heartless woman, like Molly.

The next day, Molly wore a green coat to the courthouse.

This shade of green wasn't something just any woman could pull off, but she wore it with such allure.

She wanted to be in her best state to face the outcome.

Caspian kept reassuring her, "Ms. Koch, don't worry. As long as Mr. Perot has this illness and took that medication, he absolutely won't get custody of the child."

Mental illness could be a big deal. No law would support a young child like Taylor being with such a ticking time bomb.

Thinking of that, Molly felt a bit more at ease, but not much.

Robert had been waiting for her to make a move. He didn't know what her trump card was, and that was her advantage.

Caspian checked the time and said, "If you're ready, let's go in."

Molly nodded, just about to step forward when she heard a sharp, mocking voice.

Molly nodded, just about to step forward when she heard a sharp, mocking voice. "Dressed so alluring, afraid others won't know you cheated?"

That voice, undoubtedly Lydia.

Molly didn't want to pay attention, but Lydia wouldn't let her. She was still angry about Kyle's glance last time.

Robert had told her that Kyle, now with amnesia, would accept her, but he still looked at other women like that.

Kyle had never looked at Lydia that way.

Molly didn't react, her eyes falling on Kyle, who was accompanying Lydia.

Kyle was wearing a gray suit, looking young and handsome, holding a white handbag.

Still as considerate as ever, but now his consideration was for someone else.

Molly suddenly remembered Kyle once said he would face any major event with her.

But now, Kyle was a guest on the opposing side.

Molly felt a pang in her heart, but she couldn't blame Kyle. He was innocent, even suffering unfair treatment because of her battle with Robert.

Kyle saw that familiar sorrow again.

He didn't understand why Molly always showed that sorrowful yet not sorrowful expression whenever she saw him, as if she pitied him.

Lydia, seeing Molly ignoring her, got even angrier. She was here to mock her today.

"Molly, I heard you ran off with Robert's child?" Lydia didn't know about Molly and Kyle's past elopement. Robert had ordered everyone to keep quiet, and no one dared to spread it.

Thinking logically, Robert wouldn't want a woman who had been with him to be with someone else, so no one would dare to gossip.

"You are really something, cheating on Robert." Lydia was delighted to see Molly anger Robert, hoping for a miserable future for Molly.

Lydia sneered, "You're shameless, daring to fight Robert for the child. It's a miracle Robert hasn't killed you and that man. People like you deserve to be cut into pieces!"

Lydia said this particularly harshly, making sure Kyle heard what kind of person Molly was.

To Lydia, Molly was just a shameless slut.
