Chapter 618 Apologize to Her

Molly chuckled like she'd just heard the funniest joke. "Robert, seriously, why should I hide?"

Robert's face was all serious. He knew the reason, but he didn't think he was wrong. Molly was his from the start. No matter how much time had passed, she should still be his.

"If you weren't always pushing me, would I need to avoid you?" Molly's eyes were firm as she stared him down. "Tell me, do you really want Taylor because you think he's your son and you love him, or is there something else going on?"

Robert clenched his fists, staying quiet. He never hid his intentions; he just wanted to keep her.

Molly sneered, "You know the truth. I'm not giving up custody. I'll gather evidence and fight you till the end!"

Robert laughed out of sheer anger. "Molly, you're overestimating yourself."

Molly smiled. "Robert, remember the glory days when you came back? But now, can you even compare to that? This is my achievement!"

Robert's face went pale. Molly was right; the Perot Group wasn't as glorious as when he first returned. After Molly reorganized it twice, it had dropped out of the top ten. He needed an alliance with the Mitchell family to regain his former glory. But Robert was still worth billions, and dealing with Molly was a piece of cake.

Molly saw the disdain in his eyes and said fearlessly, "Even if you're a hundred or a thousand times more powerful than me now, I'm not afraid of you. I've got nothing left to lose."

Indeed, Taylor and Leah, the two most important people, were in Robert's control. Molly had tried to take Leah with her, but Leah, even unconscious, refused to leave the nursing home. The nursing home had become a safe haven for the unconscious Leah.

Molly had no choice but to face the battle head-on, thinking it didn't matter if she failed again because she had nothing to lose. She believed Kyle felt the same way, just as determined.

"Kyle and I aren't having an affair. I've already accepted his proposal. In my heart, he's been my husband for a long time," Molly said.

With a dull thud, Robert's face turned ashen as he forcefully threw the lamp beside him. The lamp hit the mirror-like TV wall, shattering both the lamp and the LCD TV into pieces.

After venting his anger, Robert stormed out of the room, leaving the mess behind. There was nothing he couldn't control, including people.

Molly left Silverleaf Suites and quickly hailed a taxi. The driver glanced at her disheveled appearance and asked, "Where to?"

"TeleMed Hospital," Molly said.

The driver started the car and quickly drove to TeleMed Hospital.

After getting out of the car, Molly headed straight to the ward Katya had told her about last time. On the second floor, the Scott family guards were blocking the ward door, stopping Molly from entering.

Molly didn't make things difficult for the guards. She simply shouted at the door, "Kyle."

The guards were stunned, not expecting Molly to pull such a move. They couldn't let Kyle be disturbed by anyone.

Currently, Kyle was in a tug-of-war with the Scott family. They wanted him to undergo treatment, but he refused. It wasn't about the money; the treatment would take a month, and Kyle couldn't afford to leave at this time.

Kyle knew Molly would definitely come to find him. Hearing her voice outside the door brought a smile to Kyle's face. He opened the door and walked towards Molly. Although it hurt to walk, he tried his best to reach her without causing her worry.

The guards were trying to drag Molly away from the ward. "Stop making noise. If you keep this up, I'll beat you up!" A tall man said rudely.

Molly wasn't intimidated. She held her head high and said, "I'm not making things difficult for you. I'm calling him. If he wants to come out and see me, it's not your problem."

The guard, clearly lacking in perception, foolishly said in a rough voice, "Stop making noise and get lost, or I'll have to use force." He raised his hand, ready to strike.

"Stop!" Kyle walked over from behind, exuding an aura of authority. "Apologize to her."
