Chapter 336 The Truth Revealed!
Francis shot Chloe a cold look. "You know what you did."
Chloe panicked, unsure what Francis knew. But she kept her cool and said, "I didn't do anything. Harper framed me. She even faked my video at the press conference."
Pointing at Harper, Chloe shouted, "Francis, look at how vicious Harper is. She'll ruin you eventually."
Harper was stunned. Even now, Chloe showed no remorse and kept slandering her. Chloe's wickedness seemed unchangeable. She deserved her misery, including the bruise on her face.
Francis's eyes narrowed. "How do you know Harper doctored the video?"
Chloe hesitated but quickly said, "Francis, trust me, it was her. She held a grudge after our argument at the restaurant and has always hated me. Her amnesia might even be fake."
Chloe grabbed Francis's arm, insisting, "She must be faking it. She knows the child was lost because you saved me, so she's framing me..."
Before she could finish, there was a sudden snap.
Francis had broken her wrist with sheer force!
Chloe fell to her knees, screaming in agony.
The pain shot through her, making her feel like she was dying.
Francis looked at her with disgust. "My biggest regret is saving you."
If he hadn't, he and Harper would have their child and a happy life.
Francis showed no mercy, making Chloe feel like her blood had frozen.
He continued, "I gave her the video. If it was doctored, it would be by me, but it wasn't."
Chloe's face turned pale. She never expected Francis had given Harper the video. "No, no, I didn't. Francis, believe me. I didn't sleep with anyone..."
"I'm not interested in your affairs," Francis interrupted coldly. "I just want to know if you drugged Harper that day."
Chloe instinctively wanted to deny it.
Francis's voice was icy. "Think carefully."
Chloe's eyes flickered with guilt, which Harper noticed.
Harper began to suspect Chloe was behind the drugging too.
She had thought Chloe was just framing her. Now, it seemed Chloe was the one who drugged her. Chloe truly deserved to die.
But Chloe would never admit it. She believed as long as she didn't confess, no one could touch her.
She cried, trembling, her voice hoarse. "It wasn't me, really. Francis, did Harper tell you this? How can you believe her? You know she has a grudge against me."
Harper was now certain Chloe was beyond redemption.
She coldly said, "I just found out it was you who drugged me."
Chloe felt trapped. She stumbled to her feet and lunged at Harper. "Bitch! You're framing me."
Before Chloe could get close, a shiny leather shoe kicked her away.
Chloe lay on the ground, her abdomen hurting, shivering and gasping.
Francis looked at her, his lips moving. "You won't repent until you're at the end of your rope."
He called in a small man.
Harper recognized him as the waiter from that night.
Francis asked the waiter, "Is it her?"
The waiter, frightened, shivered, looked at Chloe, and spluttered, "It's her! She told me to put drugs in the drinks, including Maurice's."
Chloe had suggested Maurice use a philter. After having the waiter drug Harper, she secretly gave Maurice some crazy-inducing drugs too.
Her plan was for Maurice to either kill Harper or himself, benefiting her either way.
Chloe paid the waiter to keep quiet, and he went back to his hometown.
But Francis had people investigate and found the waiter.
Now, the evidence was irrefutable.
Chloe looked at Francis, feeling like she was in a dark, icy abyss.
She kept shaking her head. "No, I didn't."
"It was him. It was him." Chloe frantically pointed at the waiter, screaming, "He must be framing me."
The waiter stretched his neck and said, "You wicked bitch. Luckily, I kept the evidence. I had set up a camera to film a movie star who was supposed to dine there, but it recorded everything you said to me."
He handed his phone to a man in black.
The man in black gave the phone to Francis, who put it on speaker. Chloe's voice was loud and clear.
The waiter also pulled out a bag of powder from his pocket. "I kept the rest."
Chloe could no longer deny it, her face turning pale.
She tried to crawl towards the door, but a bodyguard stepped on her hand.
Francis's dark eyes fixed on her, like the depths of hell.
Chloe didn't know what awaited her, but Francis's gaze terrified her, making her tremble uncontrollably.
Francis turned to Harper. "She hurt you. What do you want to do?"
