Chapter 202 I Really Regret Meeting You
The bone-chilling cold hit Molly like a freight train.
She shivered uncontrollably, her limbs cramping up.
But she couldn't waste another second. The water was washing away the blood on her forehead, and a few piranhas, drawn by the scent, were closing in fast.
Molly bit down hard on her tongue until it bled, snapping herself out of the numbness.
She swam toward the yacht with everything she had.
A lifeline dangled from the high deck.
Robert knew Molly could swim, and she was pretty good at it.
As long as she grabbed that lifeline, she'd make it to shore.
But what then? He hated her guts right now. Even if she survived, he'd make her wish she hadn't.
Quinn wanted to stay on deck and watch the drama, but when Robert saw her, he said, "Why aren't you inside? You'll catch a cold."
Quinn clung to Robert's arm, whining, "Robert, you're still wet. Get in and change. I'll be right behind you."
Suddenly, a commotion erupted from the crowd.
"She's been bitten!"
Robert's fingers tightened, his brows furrowing deeply.
In an instant, he shook off Quinn's hands and rushed to the railing to check.
Quinn glared at Robert's back, her once gentle eyes now filled with venom.
'That damn Molly, why is she still alive?'
She thought Robert would strangle Molly with his own hands after hearing those words.
But even now, he hadn't truly tried to kill Molly.
She stomped her foot in frustration and followed to watch the show.
In the freezing river, Molly dodged a fatal bite from a piranha when someone threw a sharpened welding rod down to her.
She grabbed the sharp end and struck the water fiercely.
An unsuspecting piranha was speared through its body, flipping belly-up instantly!
Cheers erupted from the cruise ship.
They were like spectators at a gladiator arena, chattering and commenting, but not one felt any pity for her.
Robert's eyes darkened, and he coldly ordered, "Clear everyone out!"
The bodyguards then started evacuating the crowd upon his order.
Robert stared intently at the dark river. The yacht was high, and from a distance, he could only see Molly's determined, unyielding figure struggling toward the boat.
Molly's hands and feet kept cutting through the icy water, with three ferocious piranhas in hot pursuit.
She had never experienced anything so terrifying. She wasconstantly biting her tongue to keep fear from shattering her sanity.
Finally, she grabbed the lifeline.
It was like grabbing hope.
Molly planted her feet against the ship's hull and climbed with all her might. She wanted to live.
Suddenly, she lost her footing.
Instantly, she slid down.
The piranhas, having tasted blood, kept leaping up, just inches away from a feast.
Robert's eyes narrowed, his hands gripping the ship's railing, trembling uncontrollably.
He held back, steeling his heart, watching coldly.
He knew Molly was tenacious; she was a fighter.
As he believed, Molly grabbed the rope again and started climbing.
But no one noticed her face had turned ashen, and a piranha had bitten her calf during her escape. The ship's hull was already stained with her blood.
That's why the piranhas were more active and ferocious than ever.
Molly didn't give up, continuously climbing, but her trembling body told her she was exhausted!
Her eyes blurred, her mind in turmoil.
She was so close, but she was drained.
She knew she couldn't make it!
With a blur and darkness before her eyes, Molly used her last bit of strength to climb up a few more inches. She shouted at the cold, ruthless man on the railing.
"Robert! I hope that after I die, you'll spare my parents!"
Robert's pupils contracted sharply, and he roared, "Pull!"
Instantly, the bodyguards tightened the rope and started pulling Molly up!
But Molly had already used up all her strength and couldn't even manage the most basic breathing.
She let go in despair, plummeting rapidly!
In her final moment, in the endless darkness, she seemed to see the once gentle and handsome young man tenderly saying to her, "In this lifetime, there's only one woman in my heart, and her name is Molly!"
"Molly, will you give me two children in the future?"
"Molly, I will marry you. I will make you the happiest woman in the world."
"Molly, I love you! I will love you forever!"
What heavenly loving vows!
But the reality was, the man who once said he loved her personally sent her to death!
Molly's enchanting eyes were wet with blood and tears, and the sea around her gradually turned blood-red.
She smiled brilliantly, her red eyes stunningly beautiful.
"Robert! I really regret meeting you!"
Molly fell back into the river, lifeless, like a floating corpse.
"Molly!"
Robert roared, his eyes red. He didn't even realize how panicked and helpless his voice sounded!
Watching Molly float on the river like a broken-winged butterfly, Robert's heart was torn open, a bloody wound!
His mind felt like it was exploding, the pain nearly making him faint!
In the river, the ferocious piranhas were rapidly closing in on Molly!
Without a moment's hesitation, Robert was about to jump in, but someone grabbed his arms.
Quinn clung tightly to Robert's arms, tears streaming down her face, "Robert, are you trying to kill yourself?"
"Get off me!"
Robert's eyes were as dark as a hawk's, so fierce that Quinn shivered involuntarily.
But she couldn't let him go; she would never let Robert go save that bitch!
'Molly, it's best if she's dead!' she believed.
Robert raised his hand to shake her off, but Quinn clung to him desperately, her face tear-streaked. "Robert, I can't watch you go to your death!"
He had always been most susceptible to her concern, but at this moment, Robert only felt extreme disgust.
He forcefully threw her to the ground without any hesitation.
Robert jumped in!
