Chapter 203 Dragging You Down with Me!

The piranha about to bite Molly got startled by a huge wave.

Molly's calf was still bleeding, and the sweet, bloody smell was like a giant, delicious cake to them.

In an instant, they bared their teeth and charged at Molly with the fiercest posture.

Robert slapped the river hard, shouting, trying to lure the piranhas over.

But Molly's bleeding calf and her motionless body were more tempting.

Three fish leaped up, showing their sharp fangs.

Then there was a loud bang.

A bodyguard on the yacht raised a fish-hunting gun, and a shot landed near the fish, scaring them away.

But this was only a temporary fix; the bodyguard didn't dare to shoot again. If they hit Molly, she might die.

The piranhas calmed down for a moment and then tried to attack Molly again.

Instantly, the veins on Robert's forehead bulged. He reached for a sharp dagger from his waist.

He had always carried a custom-made dagger for self-defense, hidden in his belt where no one could find it.

He gritted his teeth and slashed down.

Then it came the sound of a sharp blade cutting through flesh.

Robert had cut his arm. Feeling it wasn't enough, he suddenly raised his hand again.

This time, he stabbed his calf.

His ferocious look made it seem like he was stabbing not himself but the enemy who had killed his parents.

It left him with a deep and long wound, with blood running out.

Instantly, the dark surface of the river floated with bright red liquid.

Robert gritted his teeth, still slapping the water, recklessly flailing his arms to attract the piranhas.

As expected, the piranhas no longer focused on Molly; a stronger, more intense scent had attracted them.

Molly's body was still drifting further away with the waves. Robert seized the opportunity and quickly swam towards Molly.

On the ship, Quinn's eyes were filled with hatred.

She absolutely couldn't let this bitch survive.

She turned to the bodyguard and ordered, "Fire now."

The bodyguard was stunned and explained to her, "Ms. Cane! We can't see what's on the water. If we shoot, we might shot..."

Quinn impatiently said, "Do as I say! Robert's safety is the priority. If anyone else dies, it's just their bad luck!"

The bodyguards raised their hands tremblingly, and aimed several times but missed, extremely nervous.

"Get out of the way, you useless things!" Quinn snatched the fish-hunting gun, aimed at the white figure on the river, and fired without hesitation.

The first shot was missed.

Quinn aimed again.

On the river, Robert's pupils suddenly contracted.

He was only a few feet away from Molly. Mistaking the bodyguard for the person who had fired, he gritted his teeth and cursed, "Idiot!"

Finally, he grabbed Molly's arm, holding her tightly in front of him.

At that time, the piranhas had been scared away by the gunshot.

Molly's face seemed serene, and when Robert reached out, he couldn't feel her breath.

"Molly."

He was shocked. He called her name.

Molly's eyes were closed, her face peaceful and beautiful, but she did not react.

Robert's lips, soaked by the river water, suddenly covered hers, trying to pass his breath to her.

After several attempts, Molly remained silent.

Robert didn't give up, prying open her lips and teeth again and again, passing his breath to her.

Finally, Molly coughed up water, her eyes blankly looking at the blurry figure in front of her. "Robert, why am I alive?"

Before Robert could speak, Molly's tears suddenly fell like a string of beads.

"Robert, if you don't want me to die, why did you torture me? I'm sick, really sick, and you still threw me into the river to feed your fish. I just wanted a little more time with my parents, and you even want to take that away from me?"

Molly leaned weakly in his arms, like a homeless puppy after the rain.

Seeing her reaction, Robert felt a pang of guilt.

Molly's complaints turned into pure hatred.

With a heavy nasal tone, she said, "Robert, I hate you! You're a devil! Go to hell!"

If Robert died, her parents might finally have a chance at peace.

Her words made Robert pause. "Molly, what are you talking about?"

Molly continued, "I said, why don't you die?"

Robert's handsome face turned cold.

He really couldn't expect too much from her.

Molly kept talking, clearly agitated.

Suddenly, Robert's lips covered hers, silencing her.

Molly was stunned.

As he kissed her, it felt like all his fatigue melted away in the sweetness of her lips.

That sense of satisfaction made his eyes darken, and he deepened the kiss.

Molly's whole body stiffened.

The next second, she bit Robert's tongue hard.

Robert was momentarily stunned, and Molly took the chance to turn her head away.

She slapped him without hesitation.

Blood seeped from the corner of his mouth, not from the slap but from her bite.

A strong sense of disgust flashed in Molly's eyes. "Robert! Why aren't you dead yet?"

He was nothing but a scourge for her.

Robert's cold, handsome face turned dark instantly.

Molly looked at the vast river, then at her arm tightly gripped by him.

After a few seconds, she asked in surprise, "Robert, did you jump in the water to save me?"

His face was icy, showing no embarrassment.

Staring at him, Molly sneered.

"Robert, you're really pathetic!"

He had pushed her into the water himself, and now he jumped in to save her.

She felt no gratitude, only merciless ridicule.

This made Robert's expression even uglier.

He suddenly grabbed her chin, his expression gloomy. "Molly, since you've forgotten, let me remind you!"

"In this life, I'm the one who decides if you live or die!"

"I say I'm not done with you yet, and you want to die without my permission? No way!"

Robert's words were like poisoned ice blades, filled with endless malice.

But Molly showed no fear.

This was his true nature.

A man like a devil, Robert.

She looked at Robert's cold, indifferent face, her eyes filled with a world-weary desolation. "One day, you'll regret keeping me alive."

The deep hatred in her voice was something only she understood.

Robert pressed his tongue against his cheek, the taste of blood from her bite making him excited. "Really? Then I'll wait and see."

The lifeboat from the cruise ship had already been lowered, and bodyguards were coming to the rescue.

The distance between the lifeboat and them was getting shorter and shorter.

Just as Robert relaxed for a moment, there was another loud bang.

The fish-hunting gun's ammunition streaked through the air like a meteor.

It carried destructive power, shooting in their direction.

Robert had already made a decision.

He pushed hard with both hands, throwing Molly into the air.

The next second, the bullet shot into his body.

On the river, the smell of blood mixed with gunpowder filled the air.

From the yacht came a heart-wrenching cry.

"Robert."
