Chapter 294 This Bastard Doesn't Deserve Sympathy

Francis leaned in, his breath almost touching her. "How amazing?"

"Just... just..." Harper stammered, lost for words. She'd made it up, so how could she describe Allen's supposed greatness?

Francis's devilishly handsome face got closer. His voice was low and sexy. "Need a ruler to compare?"

Harper froze, blinking. "What?"

Francis's voice was hoarse. "What do you think?"

Harper's eyes widened. 'He can't mean that, can he? Pervert!'

"Remember Allen so well, but not me?" Francis grabbed her hand, pulling it down. "Need a little help?"

Sensing danger, Harper tried to pull back, but Francis held tight.

This was going wrong.

Harper's voice trembled. "You're a pervert!"

"How am I a pervert?" Francis's expression was a mix of a smile and a threat, scarier than a poker face.

"Love reminiscing about the past? Then..." Francis's fingers lifted her chin. "let me help you remember what we used to do."

Harper's calm was breaking. "Francis! You..."

Her words were swallowed by Francis's lips.

Harper grunted, trying to escape, but Francis pulled her closer, deepening the kiss.

In the intense kiss, Francis showed hidden restraint and control.

Even so, it hurt Harper. She tried to push him away, but Francis pinned her hands against the car window.

Harper's chest was compressed, making it hard to breathe. Just as she was about to run out of air, Francis pulled back slightly, his voice hoarse. "Forgot how to breathe?"

Francis had noticed last time that she forgot how to breathe during a kiss.

His eyes darkened, pondering the key info behind it.

She was so rusty at kissing now. That meant she hadn’t kissed many times in recent years. This realization amused him.

Francis's lips parted slightly. "One word about that man and you get one kiss."

It was laughable, but he was upset with the deceased Allen.

Harper, still angry, pushed his chest. "You're crazy. Allen was my husband."

Francis's face tightened, saying dangerously. "You talked about him all the way. Guess how many kisses you owe me?"

"Call me honey, and I'll take one kiss off." He smirked.

Harper's face turned red with anger. "When pigs fly!"

Francis pulled her close, chuckling. "Then no reduction."

Harper couldn't resist, eyes wide with anger. "You bastard! This is sexual harassment!"

Francis lowered his head, lips approaching. "The law can't punish me for kissing my wife."

With one sentence, he shut her down completely.

Harper was trapped in his arms, kissed relentlessly. Each kiss from Francis was long and lingering. At this rate, they might kiss till dawn.

Harper felt suffocated, her breath shaky. "Stop. Stop."

Francis, feeling the urge, stopped with great restraint.

Except for their first meeting, when he kissed and bit her without restraint, he hadn't touched a woman in five years. Those kisses weren't enough for him.

His Adam's apple bobbed, and he asked in a low, suppressed voice, "Ready to call me honey?"

Harper, though inexperienced, wasn't stupid. They were not that close anymore.

Her face turned red with anger. "Have you no shame?"

Francis's lips curled slightly. He loved her embarrassed and angry look.

It instantly took him back to those hot nights of passion.

"Why the shy face?" Francis chuckled hoarsely. "We've done it so many times, in so many places. This car isn't new to us."

Harper's hands were bound, and she gritted her teeth. "Shame on you."

Francis wasn't angry. He pressed down on her again. "If you don't say it, I'll continue."

Terrified, Harper turned her face away and reluctantly said, "Honey."

The car fell silent.

In Francis's dark eyes, an inexplicable emotion surged. He gripped her jaw, turning her face to him. "Look at me and say it."

Harper wanted to call him a bastard! But under his control, she had to obey.

She stared at Francis's face, gritting her teeth as she called him "Honey" six times. But Francis seemed dissatisfied.

Harper angrily said, "If you go even farther, I am not going to give in again."

No matter how long it took to get divorced, she couldn't care less.

She wouldn't be the one always taken advantage of.

Francis's eyes, more beautiful than shattered stars, fixed on her. "Great."

He had waited five years for this "honey" and thought he'd never hear it again.

Harper was stunned, as if she glimpsed hidden sorrow behind his words.

Instantly, her heart softened a bit.

But considering his recent behavior, Harper quickly hardened her heart again.

This bastard didn't deserve sympathy!

Serenity Manor.

As soon as Harper got out of the car, a small, soft body pounced on her.

Harper quickly squatted down to hug her tightly and kiss the little face. "Agnes."

"Mommy!" Agnes's pretty little face was full of joy as she hugged Harper tightly.

Zoey explained, "Agnes just finished her fruit and came out for a walk."

"Mommy, did Uncle Jasper bring you back?" Agnes asked.

"No," Harper answered. Before she could finish, Agnes climbed up the car with her short legs to see Francis's handsome face clearly.

Agnes's eyes lit up, and in a cute voice, she exclaimed, "Daddy!"
