Chapter 626 You Will Regret It

Molly slumped to the ground, showing the desperation of a mother who had been robbed of her own child.

Robert casually pushed her into the abyss once again.

Molly felt as if a giant net had enveloped her head, no matter how she struggled, she couldn't escape this confined space.

Seeing Molly's desperate expression, Caspian couldn't bear it and comforted her, "Ms. Koch, don't be too sad. Since you're sure Mr. Perot has been on medication, he must have used some trick this time. Cheer up, we still have a chance if we work together."

The lawyer was indeed very clear-headed, and with just a few words, he reminded Molly.

It was impossible for Robert not to have taken his medication, so what exactly was the problem here?

Caspian went to find some acquaintances at the court to see if there was any issue with Robert's evaluation agency.

He asked Molly to wait for him in the car.

Molly walked towards the door in a daze and accidentally bumped into someone.

Her nose hurt from the collision, and she quickly apologized, "I'm sorry."

"It's okay." Kyle's clean voice made Molly freeze.

When she looked up, she saw it was Kyle she had bumped into, and her already sore nose felt even worse.

Molly lowered her head, afraid she couldn't hold back her tears, and softly said again, "I'm sorry."

After saying that, she turned to leave.

"Ms. Koch, wait a moment," Kyle suddenly called out to her.

Molly paused, and Kyle pointed to her hand, then handed her a silk handkerchief, gently saying, "Wrap it up, Ms. Koch."

Kyle was still such a kind and gentle person.

Molly felt even more sorrowful in her heart. She shook her head and said, "Thank you, but it's not necessary."

Just as she was about to leave, Kyle grabbed her and firmly bandaged her hand.

The whole process took less than thirty seconds.

Kyle, being a professional physician, was skilled in it.

After bandaging, Molly immediately withdrew her hand. She didn't want to cause Kyle any trouble.

Kyle didn't know anything now, and if someone targeted him because of her, he would suffer.

Kyle frowned slightly at her aloofness and asked the question that had been lingering in his mind, "Ms. Koch, did we know each other before?"

This question stunned Molly.

Some memory loss was only temporary, and even if Kyle had amnesia, he might still have some residual impression of Molly.

"I..." Just as Molly was about to speak, Lydia, who had just returned from the restroom, rushed over.

"Kyle, have you been waiting for me long?" As she spoke, Lydia glared fiercely at Molly.

Because of Caspian, Lydia had restrained herself a lot and didn't dare to speak recklessly to avoid Caspian coming out again.

But with that slap, Lydia couldn't just let it go; she was determined to make Molly pay a bloody price.

"Let's go." Lydia took Kyle's arm and left.

Molly watched their backs, feeling a bit dazed.

She didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing that Kyle didn't remember.

Not far behind.

Not far behind, Robert had just come out of the court, accompanied by Rosie.

Noticing Molly's eyes glued to Kyle, Robert felt a surge of anger.

Without a word, Robert walked past Molly.

Molly didn't pay him any attention, but Rosie, who was following Robert, stopped.

She politely said, "Ms. Koch."

Molly looked at Rosie, not knowing why she was greeting her.

But Molly still replied politely, "Ms. Mitchell."

Rosie smiled gracefully and said, "Ms. Koch, you mentioned in court that Robert wanted to use the child to force you back to him. I think you misunderstood."

Molly didn't speak, and Rosie continued, "Robert and I have been engaged for a few months, and our relationship has always been good. We've even set a wedding date. I trust Robert."

Molly understood that Rosie wanted to flaunt her relationship with Robert and remind her.

"Ms. Mitchell, it's your business to trust Mr. Perot. There's no need to tell me," Molly said, "You just need to stick to what you believe, and I'll stick to what I believe."

Rosie wasn't embarrassed by the rebuff and still maintained her smile. "I just think Robert is always concise in his words. Maybe you didn't understand what he meant. Robert would never cheat on me."

Molly had no interest in talking to Rosie and replied perfunctorily, "That's great."

Rosie, looking displeased, wanted to say something more but saw Molly's attorney approaching.

Rosie put away her displeasure and smiled. "Ms. Koch, rest assured, I will take good care of your child."

These words made Molly's face change.

Rosie definitely didn't mean to take good care of the child but was using Taylor to remind her.

Molly's eyes turned cold. "Put away your little schemes. Don't touch Taylor, or you'll regret it."

Rosie felt she had won a round and still wore that faint smile, saying, "Ms. Mitchell, I don't understand what you're saying."

In terms of ability, Rosie was much smarter than someone like Lydia.

In the world of the wealthy, there wasn't much unfairness, and with Patrick's favor, Rosie had always lived peacefully without any bad rumors.

But when it came to dealing with matters, Rosie wasn't incapable. On the contrary, her magnanimous image would bring her many conveniences and opportunities, just like now.

Thinking about what Rosie meant, Molly trembled all over.

Taylor hadn't even fallen into Rosie's hands, and she was already starting to threaten.

Taylor was weak and sickly; even a small accident could be too much for him, so it would be very easy to harm him.

"Rosie!" Molly sternly warned her. "If you dare touch my child, I'll risk my life to kill you!"

Rosie seemed frightened, covering her mouth and trembling. "Ms. Koch, what's wrong with you?"

"Stop pretending!" Molly's face turned cold. She understood the meaning behind Rosie's smile.

Rosie covered her mouth, but her eyes were smiling, very proudly.

She was clearly teaching Molly a lesson.

Molly gritted her teeth and took a step closer. "Rosie, I'm not joking. I will make you die..."

Before Molly could finish her sentence, Rosie rolled down the steps in front of the door.

Fortunately, there were only three steps, not very high, but Rosie still looked pained, crying out, and her ankle showed red marks, quickly swelling.

Molly looked at her inexplicably; she hadn't even reached out.

Rosie's voice was weak. "Ms. Koch, you really misunderstood."

Before she could finish, Robert, who had approached, spoke coldly. "Who do you want dead?"

Robert, seeing that Rosie hadn't caught up, came over just in time to hear Molly's threat and then saw Rosie fall down the steps.

Robert reached out to help Rosie up, carefully checking her for other injuries before asking, "How did you fall?"

Rosie leaned her entire body into Robert's arms, looking weak and overly frightened, which made her appear particularly pitiable.

"I... I'm fine, it has nothing to do with Ms. Koch." This explanation seemed more like Rosie was trying to exonerate Molly, not wanting to cause conflict.

Instantly, Rosie's image became more magnanimous, making her even more endearing.

Sure enough, Robert looked at Molly with a cold face and said icily, "Apologies to Rosie."

Robert didn't care what Rosie said; he believed what he saw.

At this moment, Robert reverted to his former extreme coldness.

Molly had opposed him time and again, and this time he was determined to teach her a lesson.

From now on, he wouldn't indulge her or beg her anymore.

Robert wanted her to fear him, to be as submissive as she used to be.

Molly coldly replied, "First, I didn't push her. Second, I want her dead because she intends to harm Taylor. Robert, if you allow her to touch Taylor, I will fight you both to the death!"

Rosie covered her mouth, looking shocked. "Ms. Koch, how could you say that? I never mentioned Taylor. I was just sympathizing with you."

Rosie choked up, tears streaming down her face. "I was just sympathizing with you as a mother and said I would take good care of Taylor. Did I say anything wrong? Ms. Koch, please don't slander me. I've never done anything bad in my life, and everyone can see that"

Rosie turned her head, looking very aggrieved. "Robert, I can swear that I never said I would harm Taylor. I only said I would take good care of him."

Robert nodded and said warmly, "I believe you."

Then, Robert turned to Molly, his eyes cold. "Apologize to Rosie!"

"Apologize?" Molly sneered. She was really foolish to think Robert would care about Taylor. To him, Taylor was just a tool to make her submit.

"Robert, you've had Taylor back for over half a month. Have you taken him to the hospital for a check-up? Do you know about his illness? Do you really care about him? If you don't care, why did you take him away? Tell me!" Molly's words were filled with blood and tears.

For Taylor, and for herself, it was tragic.

They were like kites with strings, unable to break free.

Robert also sneered. "It's just a heart condition. I'm already looking for a donor for him."

He knew Taylor had a heart problem, but it was a tricky issue. Finding a matching donor was difficult, which was why it was taking so long.

Otherwise, with Robert's financial resources, he could find ten donors immediately.

As soon as a suitable donor appeared, he would stop at nothing to get them to donate.

Molly felt a deep sense of despair. She couldn't expect Robert to feel the same way she did; she just hoped Taylor would be safe during this time.

Molly didn't argue further and said wearily, "Taylor can't eat cold or raw food, and there are other dietary restrictions that only Isadora knows. Please don't fire her. She has taken care of him for many years, knows him well, and won't harm him. Taylor also relies on her. I'm begging you."

This was the first time Molly had lowered her stance in so long.

Robert felt he had made the right decision, thinking someone as ungrateful as Molly should be treated this way.

"Apologize to Rosie." He didn't forget to seek justice for Rosie.

Molly's eyes turned cold. Thinking of Taylor, she reluctantly apologized. "I'm sorry, Ms. Mitchell. I misunderstood you and said those things. It's best if you didn't mean it."

Molly paused and said, "When you become a mother, you'll understand that every mother will do anything for her child, even sacrifice her life."

Molly seemed to be apologizing, but she was actually warning Rosie that if she dared to touch Taylor, she would stop at nothing.

Rosie, being perceptive, understood. She was unhappy but didn't show it. "Of course, Ms. Koch, I understand you. Robert and I are planning to start trying for a baby after we get married. I can already feel what it's like to be a mother. Every mother loves her child and wouldn't do anything inappropriate."

Rosie's response was also a warning to Molly not to do anything inappropriate.

Molly understood and said, "Then congratulations in advance."

Rosie smiled shyly.

Robert had no interest in their conversation and asked Rosie, "Can you walk?"

Rosie said, "I'll try."

She took one step and winced in pain.

Robert picked Rosie up and left without looking back.

The cold wind blew, and Molly's arms got goosebumps. She had a bad feeling and was worried about Taylor.

Caspian came out and called her, "Ms. Koch, the agency that did Robert's evaluation is this one."

Caspian handed Molly an address and said, "It's a professional judicial agency with no history of problems. The doctors there are very professional. If Mr. Perot had a mental illness, this result shouldn't have come out."

Caspian suspected Molly might be mistaken, but he spoke subtly, not wanting to further upset the mother who had lost visitation rights.

Molly shook her head and said, "I didn't make a mistake. He's been on medication because that bottle is a large one, the same as he used before. It's already two-thirds empty, which means he's still taking it as prescribed. As for why there's no trace of the medication in his body, he must have done something improper."

"If you're sure, I'll continue investigating. As for visitation rights, don't worry. As long as the three-phase medical evaluation shows stable emotions, I can reapply to the court. In the meantime, don't overthink it. Let's work together to regain visitation rights as soon as possible." Caspian was very professional and responsible. He didn't blame Molly for her unverified claims.

Moreover, not many lawyers would take Molly's case, because they were all afraid of offending a powerful man like Robert.

These people's success wasn't random; who knew how much dirty blood was on their hands behind the scenes?

"Thank you, Caspian." Molly looked at the note in his hand and said, "I'm planning to visit this agency to see if I can find any issues."

Caspian thought it would be futile for Molly to go but didn't want to discourage her.

He handed Molly a business card and said, "The director there is a classmate of mine. If you go, you can talk to him."
