Chapter 465 Arthur

Harper's ears were on fire, and she shook her head, saying, "No more..."

Her body was still aching, and she wondered if Francis had taught himself all those moves. Once in a while was cool, but twice in one day? That was nuts.

It was always the same; Francis would say she was too pampered, so the foreplay always kicked off with some sweet talk to get her in the mood.

"I'll make it quick," Francis coaxed her, "Just another around tonight."

He'd spent most of the time just making her happy, and he barely got to enjoy it himself. He needed this.

Harper shook her head and said, "I need to go back and be with Agnes."

"Then I'll come to your place." Francis didn't mind showing up at her door.

"No," Harper was genuinely a bit scared; he was too good at driving her wild in bed.

Seeing Francis's disappointed face, Harper felt a bit guilty. He must've held back a lot just to give her the best time. Maybe she was being a bit too much!

"Tomorrow night." She looked at Francis, blushing, and said, "Come to my place tomorrow night. I want to introduce you to Agnes."

Francis's dark eyes suddenly lit up, and his breath got shaky as he said, "Seriously?"

Harper said, "Yes, I think Agnes has the right to know that you are her biological father."

Before, even though Agnes always called him dad, she had to be careful around Harper. Whenever Harper looked a bit down, Agnes would stop calling Francis dad. At those times, Harper felt both guilty and heartbroken.

Agnes didn't know she could rightfully call him dad. So, Harper had thought it through and decided to tell her.

Francis suddenly hugged her tightly, his voice choked as he sobbed, "Thank you. Thank you."

He had been respecting her choice, so he didn't say it out loud, but he had thought about revealing his true identity to his little girl hundreds of times.

"I will be a good father, take the responsibility and love you both for the rest of my life."

Harper didn't know what would happen as the rest of their life didn't seem to end soon, but her heart was filled with a warm flutter.

Francis insisted on walking her to the garage to keep her safe. The whole time, Harper's face was covered tightly, and the passing employees probably knew what Francis and his girlfriend had been up to.

Later, they ran into Jeffrey in the elevator. He had been wandering around the floors with nothing to do and happened to bump into a girl. She had the kind of distinctive and recognizable look he liked. Unfortunately, she didn't pay him any attention and even thought he was a bad guy.

Jeffrey saw Francis holding a girl wrapped in a long coat and immediately recognized her as Harper. After all, they had interacted quite a bit for the gala.

Jeffrey ignored Francis's look and greeted her, "Ms. Murphy, so Francis's business was with you."

Harper's cheeks instantly turned bright red. She stammered a greeting, "Mr. Campbell, good day."

Jeffrey loved to joke, his eyes half-squinting as he teased, "It's indeed a good day. Seeing you two together makes my day even better."

Francis knew she was shy and, seeing Jeffrey about to take the same elevator, he said immediately, "You can take the next one."

Jeffrey originally wanted to follow them but then remembered he needed to ask Francis about the girl he had bumped into. Afraid Francis might refuse him, he reluctantly agreed.

The elevator doors closed. Francis wrapped his arm around Harper's slim waist and said in a deep, magnetic voice, "Don't worry. Jeffrey just likes to joke around. He won't say anything."

Harper was embarrassed and said, "This is the last time I'm here."

It was too embarrassing; the whole company probably knew what she had come for!

Francis tightened his grip on her waist, his handsome face looking all lazy as he said, "Next time, just take this elevator straight to the parking lot. No one will see you."

"No way!" Harper's eyelashes fluttered, and her face turned beet red. Seriously, once wasn't enough? How many more times did he want?

Francis pinched her waist and said, "Why not? Didn't I make you feel good just now?"

Harper's face turned as red as a tomato as she said, "Don't talk nonsense."

Francis, of course, knew she wasn't truly uncomfortable; on the contrary, she felt the opposite. She had never let go like that before, and his efforts had paid off. Her shyness during sex would only leave him the one to enjoy it. Pushing her a bit made both of them enjoy it.

Thinking about that scene, Francis felt a bit aroused, and he said in a hoarse voice, "Come at night next time. The view outside the windows in the office is wonderful."

Those words were too hot for Harper. Her heart almost jumped out of her chest as she mumbled, "You..."

Her words were swallowed by the sound of the elevator door opening. Francis pinched her cheek and took her hand, saying, "Let's go."

When they reached the car, Harper saw Isla waiting there. Isla had completed her task and returned to her post.

The previous bodyguards were males and couldn't follow Harper closely into some places, which wasn't safe. Although Francis wasn't very satisfied with Isla, he was satisfied with her close protection.

He looked at Isla, his expression serious as he said, "Be vigilant."

Isla nodded in agreement and said, "I understand, sir."

Francis stood there, watching Harper's car drive away before slowly entering the elevator. After the elevator doors closed, another car followed the car Harper was in and drove away.

Harper went straight back to her villa, and that car followed her there. They were very discreet, keeping a distance and taking some photos.

In a luxurious and bright mansion in the Pacific Northwest, Arthur looked at the photos sent over, clicked his tongue, and said, "She did inherit her mother's looks."

Thinking about how Audrey always said Harper was in her way, Arthur gave the order, "Kill her and make it look like an accident. Do it clean."

Arthur wasn't killing for Audrey's sake; he just couldn't stand the child Elodie had with Clayton.

The other side replied, "What about the kid?"

Arthur's tone was devoid of warmth as he said, "Kill her, too."

Agnes also had a quarter of Elodie's blood, and he couldn't stand his possessions being tainted. As for Jasper, he wasn't even Elodie's child, so he didn't matter.

But Clayton had been hiding this information, raising Harper as Jasper's sibling. What was he thinking? If it was out of love, then Clayton was too loving. Unfortunately, Arthur wasn't touched and had to get rid of the man who had stolen his love one day.

At that moment, a servant suddenly ran up from the basement in a panic. "Mr. Hernandez, Ms. Sackler, she..."

Arthur stepped forward and grabbed the servant's neck, snarling, "What happened?"

The servant was choked and couldn't speak, his face turning purple.

With a heavy thud, Arthur threw him down. He strode downstairs, and the servant gasped for air before stammering, "Ms. Sackler, she's awake."

Arthur pushed open the door and grabbed Elodie on the bed. "Elodie?"

The beautiful Elodie blinked her vacant eyes, looking at Arthur for a while before asking, "Arthur?"
