Chapter 632 Don't Think He Was Wrong

Robert stopped in his tracks and looked back at her.

Rosie smiled gently and said considerately, "The wedding dress and gown need to be tried on in advance. If you're busy, I'll go alone."

Robert lifted his eyelids and observed her expression.

When Rosie said this, her face was still full of smiles, as if she didn't feel aggrieved at all.

Robert nodded, "Yeah, I'm busy. You arrange the time yourself."

"Okay, stay safe."

Robert left, and Rosie stood there watching him, her face gentle and her smile sweet, fully displaying the thoughtfulness of a fiancée.

It wasn't until Robert's figure completely disappeared that Rosie's gentle smile gradually faded away.

Rosie flipped the entire table of dishes onto the floor.

Rosie knew that Robert had gone to see Molly again. She hated it in her heart, but she couldn't show anything and had to endure it.

She didn't dare to make a scene. Robert hadn't entrusted Taylor to her care yet. Although the court said so, she knew she was still under Robert's observation.

Robert didn't fully trust her and was unwilling to let her take care of Taylor.

Robert really cared about Taylor. And Molly also cared about Taylor.

Rosie's smile gradually faded again. This was the weak spot for both Robert and Molly.

Instead of living in fear every day, afraid she wouldn't become Robert's wife or that something unexpected would happen, it was better to use this weak spot. Then she wouldn't have to live in fear anymore.

Rosie waved for the servants to clean up the mess and gave the butler a menu before bed, instructing him to buy the freshest and best ingredients tomorrow to make soup for Robert.

Even if he didn't drink a single sip, it didn't matter. As long as he could see her effort, that was enough.

Robert went out, and Zack was waiting in the car.

Seeing him come, Zack hurriedly put down his phone and got out of the car to open the door for Robert.

Robert glanced at Zack's phone on the seat, then looked away and instructed Zack, "You drive."

Hearing this, Zack immediately opened the car door and got into the driver's seat.

When Robert said this, it usually meant there was something important that the driver shouldn't be involved in.

After the car started, Zack was about to ask Robert where to go but was interrupted by Robert's stern face.

"Give me your phone," Robert said.

Zack was stunned, not understanding why Robert suddenly wanted his phone, but more than that, he felt guilty.

But Robert stared at Zack without saying a word, and Zack didn't dare to refuse. He immediately unlocked his phone and handed it over with both hands.

Robert found an unknown encrypted number and asked, "Who is this?"

Zack didn't dare to speak, stammering, "No..."

"Think carefully before you speak!" Robert suddenly said in a low voice.

Zack was startled and murmured, "Mr. Perot, I..."

"I'll give you thirty seconds to explain everything, without leaving out a single detail," Robert said, his face cold as if a storm was brewing.

Zack panicked and immediately confessed, "Rhett took the money but didn't leave immediately. He was living it up in Northfield, and then I found out Ms. Koch was investigating Rhett. Rhett called me asking what to do, and I... I..."

Robert impatiently said, "And what?"

Zack braced himself and said, "I arranged for Rhett to run her over."

As soon as he said this, the car quickly filled with a chilling coldness.

Zack didn't dare to say another word!

Zack understood how important Molly was to Robert. He had acted on his own because he couldn't stand Molly always trying to bring Robert down.

Even though she had just lost a lawsuit, Zack thought that with Taylor now in their hands, Molly would calm down for a while.

Unexpectedly, Molly started investigating at the forensic lab the afternoon after losing the lawsuit. She didn't find anything but wasn't giving up and even got a job there to look for clues.

Zack was really impressed by Molly, as if nothing could defeat her.

To be honest, Zack was scared by her tenacity and had a bad feeling that Molly would harm Robert.

That was why, when Rhett called him in a panic, he impulsively gave that order.

Zack wasn't afraid of Robert holding him accountable. He did it, and even if it didn't succeed, he didn't regret it.

Zack couldn't stand by and watch Molly hurt Robert. Even if it meant paying a price, he was willing.

After listening, Robert asked in an indifferent voice, "Did you arrange it, or did someone else instruct you?"

Zack didn't expect Robert to think that of him.

Robert had saved his life, and Zack always remembered his kindness. How could he be bought off?

"Mr. Perot, I would never..." Zack hadn't finished speaking when Robert lost interest in listening.

Robert asked, "Where is he?"

Zack knew who Robert was asking about and quickly said, "I'm not sure. After Rhett called me, he disappeared. His phone is now unreachable."

"Send me the location and recording of his disappearance," Robert said.

Zack's phone was specially made, capable of storing calls and messages with one click. In case of an emergency, he could also destroy everything with one click, all within seconds.

There was no way to leave any evidence behind.

Zack sent the recording and location to Robert.

Robert said coldly, "Get out."

Zack panicked, "Mr. Perot, it's not safe for you to go alone. Let me go with you. I promise I won't make any more mistakes."

"Do I need to repeat it?" Robert's eyes were as cold as ice.

Zack immediately got out of the car but didn't give up. He clung to the window and said, "Mr. Perot, please, let me go. I promise to follow your orders and protect you. Please."

Zack wasn't afraid of Rhett, that useless guy. Robert could take on fifty of him.

Zack was most afraid of Molly.

Molly was the real threat. Robert had said to ignore her, but it hadn't even been a week, and that was already out the window.

"Zack, how long have you been with me?" Robert suddenly asked.

"Sixteen years, Mr. Perot."

"Sixteen years..."

The next second, Robert looked at Zack's hand and rolled up the window, trapping it tightly.

Zack gritted his teeth in pain but didn't dare to make a sound. He knew this was Robert punishing him for overstepping.

He knew he had indeed violated Robert's rules and deserved the punishment, but he still didn't think he was wrong.

It wasn't until Robert said something that made a cold sweat break out on Zack's back.
