Chapter 406: Let's Have a Baby

Molly felt like she got zapped by a bolt of lightning!

What did he dig up?

Her mind was a total mess, and she didn't even notice Robert's aggressive kiss.

Her plump, rosy lips had this killer allure.

Even if Molly was clueless, her magnetic charm was undeniable to Robert.

He missed her, craved her. Night after night, he’d fall asleep obsessing over her, even with that corpse next to him.

He’d walk right into her trap, even on purpose.

Molly hated him, so he let her rage. If she wanted to hurt him, he'd hand her the knife himself!

But Robert would never let her fall for another guy.

Molly spent the first half of her life loving him, and even if she spent the rest hating him, he’d take it.

But no way was she gonna live a simple, ordinary life with some other dude.

Robert had gone to Auroria, where she used to live and started fresh.

He found out she had lived a low-key life as Lisa with some young guy named Kyle.

They’d strolled around on weekends, fed pigeons in the square, and gone grocery shopping together.

And they even had a kid! She actually had a kid with Kyle!

Neighbors said they rarely brought the kid out, only seen from afar once. The kid looked thin and small, not even three years old.

While Robert was losing sleep and going nuts, Molly was living a simple life with another man.

They were both playing him.

Thinking about it, Robert felt his world crashing down, and in his rage, he wanted to take everyone down with him.

Robert's cold, thin lips attacked hers, and Molly finally snapped out of it, shoving him away hard.

Molly's nails left a long scratch on Robert's face, but it didn’t stop him.

He was like a wild beast, ready to tear everything apart!

Molly bit his lip hard, and Robert, in pain, grabbed her jaw so hard it almost dislocated.

Molly's eyelashes trembled, and tears fell uncontrollably. Her eyes were red and wet, looking heartbreakingly beautiful.

Robert's ruthless hands froze for a second, then loosened. He croaked, "Molly, how could you have a kid with another man?"

It was like a bomb went off in her head.

Molly's eyes widened. He had found out! And sooner than she thought.

Seeing her knowing look, Robert felt like his heart was being shredded. To end the pain, he wanted to crush his own heart.

"Is it Kyle's?" He asked. Maybe the pain was too much, Robert's voice was slow and cold as ice.

Molly smiled, "I wish it was."

"Then whose is it?" Robert asked through gritted teeth.

Molly smirked, "When I was abroad, I OD'd on painkillers and had an episode on the street, then I got pregnant. I don't know whose it is."

Robert's eyes were icy as he roared, "You're lying! It's Kyle's, isn't it?"

Molly sneered, "Kyle's got a bright future. Why would he have a kid with me? If you checked, you'd know the hospital records say the father is unknown."

"Where's that kid?" Robert asked.

He had searched forever but couldn't find the kid. Otherwise, he’d have already done a paternity test.

Once he found out the father, he’d definitely kill that guy!

Molly shrugged indifferently and said, "I gave the kid away when I came back."

"Really?" Robert asked, not buying it.

"Why wouldn't I, Robert? Tell me, why wouldn't I? You should be glad this kid has nothing to do with you. Otherwise, I would've strangled it!"

Molly had seen this coming, so she hid Taylor early on.

Robert would never find him.

Because Taylor was weak, she had deliberately let the neighbor see him that one time to throw them off about Taylor's age.

She had been planning this for years.

Kyle was a wild card; he found her sooner than she expected.

But it didn't matter. If Robert didn't care at all, how would she have the chance? All she wanted was his attention, so she could use her neighbor abroad as a wetness to forge her child's age.

But Robert seemed possessed, muttering, "If you can have a kid with a man, why not with me? If you can fall in love with a man, why not with me?"

Molly never expected him to say that, it was really like he was insane.

"Robert, are you out of your mind!" Molly shouted.

Robert admitted frankly, "Yeah, I'm out of my mind. Would I have slept with a fake you for five years if I wasn't?"

Seeing Molly's disgusted expression, Robert felt his pride shatter.

He grabbed her neck, hatingly saying, "Molly, wasn't it you who deceived me? You made me think that body was you!"

"I didn't. It was just a coincidence!" Molly reached for his wrist, gasping, "You psycho, lunatic, pervert. Let go of me!"

"Yeah, I'm a lunatic. I wouldn't be doing justice to the image you created for me if I wasn't!" Robert hissed, "Molly, let's have a kid."

Saying this, Robert reached to tear her shirt.

Molly struggled desperately, shouting, "Robert, who wants to have a kid with you, you bastard. Do you have what it takes?"

Robert reached for the buttons and spluttered, "I will be good to our kid. My mom used to say that a kid would always do to keep a woman."

Robert pinned Molly to the seat to control her with force.

Then, he pleaded in a low voice, "Molly, give me..."

Five years of longing and torment all turned into substance in a moment. He wanted her. He crazily desired to make love to her.

"Get off!" Molly's eyes were bloodshot. She kicked and bit him, but it was all futile.

In the chaos, she didn't know what she had pulled out. Her eyes were covered in blood red, she flailed her arms and stabbed something soft.

Then, she freed her hand and slapped him hard.

Molly suddenly screamed, her voice hoarse and crazed.

All the unbearable memories flooded in. She cried and asked, "Robert, how many times do you have to push me to death before you're satisfied!"

This desperate scream seemed to squeeze Robert's heart.

He looked down at her. He looked much weaker and breathed, "I'm sorry, Molly. I won't push you. I won't."

However, his voice was like a demon hissing in her ears, bringing all the past miseries to her mind, torturing her.

Robert said, "Will you love me again if I use my life in exchange?"

Molly broke down and screamed, "Robert, I will celebrate your death. Don't even think about my love."

"Is that so?" Robert's eyes turned red, he laughed self-deprecatingly, "I knew it, but if it can make you happy, even just once, it's worth it."

Molly just found Robert's words inexplicable.

Suddenly, Robert collapsed in front of her, his hands falling on her waist.

"Robert, you'll surely be sorry if you dare touch me."

She disgustedly tried to push him away, but felt a handful of stickiness, the smell of metal strong.

Molly's heart sank. She slowly pulled her hand from Robert's abdomen.

She couldn't see any color on her hand but blood-red.

Her hands trembled as she realized that the sharp metal rod from the headrest had somehow stabbed into Robert's body.

Molly's hands froze. She pushed him and jabbered, "Robert, wake up."

Robert didn't answer her, his breathing barely perceptible.

At this moment, the phone suddenly vibrated.

Seeing the name on the screen, Molly picked up with trembling hands, her voice shaking as she said, "I killed him."
