Chapter 629 Pass a Message to Him for Me

"Not yet successful." Rhett's nose was bleeding profusely from the collision.

"You can't even handle a sickly woman?" Zack said impatiently.

"This woman is a good driver, seems better than me. I've never hit anyone before, it's hard to control."

"Hurry up," Zack's voice was very cold.

Rhett shivered and said, "Can I quit? You can find someone else. I'll leave tonight and never come back, is that okay?"

Rhett didn't want to do it at all; he just wanted to sneak away. Asking him to switch materials was one thing, but asking him to kill someone was something he truly couldn't do.

Initially, Rhett took Zack's money and had Sloane remove the blood sample. He promised Zack that he would leave immediately after the job was done and never return to the country.

But Rhett and Sloane were already involved, and he wanted to have one last fling before leaving, which caused the delay.

Rhett had already booked his departure for tomorrow through secret channels, making it untraceable.

Unexpectedly, this situation arose. Rhett, unsure of what to do, contacted Zack for advice, only to be told to run her over.

This was a living person; Rhett didn't dare to kill anyone.

Zack said, "Fine, you don't have to do it."

Rhett was overjoyed, "Thank you, you're really a good person. Don't worry, I won't say a word."

"But I want the money I paid you back, and I won't pay the remaining balance either," Zack said coldly.

Rhett was stunned, "That's not fair."

"I've done the job, how can you not pay me? We agreed on this, if you go back on your word, I can't keep my mouth shut!" Rhett threatened Zack.

"Then go ahead and talk. If this woman doesn't die today, she will expose everything. She has already discovered you. It's not just about the money; you should prepare for the worst." Zack implied that if Molly wasn't dealt with, the matter would be exposed, and they would face renewed litigation. Rhett would not only lose the money but also end up in jail, which was unacceptable!

Rhett couldn't afford to lose the money. He had just started enjoying a wealthy lifestyle.

He couldn't let the money slip away.

He had initially promised Sloane to take her with him after the job, but in reality, he never intended to.

With money, he could easily find other women, and he had long bored Sloane.

Rhett wanted to go out and enjoy different experiences.

So, for the sake of the money, he had to run over Molly.

That was money Rhett couldn't earn in a lifetime.

But this time, it was tricky; Molly had some skills.

Rhett immediately changed his tone and said loudly, "I will definitely run her over. Just make sure to transfer the remaining money to me."

Zack promised, "I have no shortage of money, but you need to get the job done. If there's any problem, the life you're enjoying now will be gone."

"I will, I will definitely complete it," Rhett assured.

At this moment, the determination in Rhett's eyes was unwavering; he was sure he could do it.

Molly's car hadn't gone far when the silver car behind was already catching up.

She was so scared that she gripped the steering wheel tightly and floored the gas pedal, but she couldn't shake it off.

The car behind seemed determined to catch up with her, as if it was a life-or-death chase.

Molly realized that Rhett in the car behind was trying to run her over.

Based on her investigation and what her colleagues had told her, Rhett was a greedy person but had never done anything truly evil and didn't dare to.

Even if Molly had touched his interests, he wouldn't go as far as to kill her.

So, Rhett's relentless pursuit must be under someone's orders.

Could it be that Robert finally couldn't hold back and wanted to kill her?

At that moment, the phone in the car suddenly rang.

Molly saw the number; it was Harper calling.

She wanted to hang up, but in her panic, she accidentally answered the call.

Molly heard Harper's anxious voice, "Molly, why didn't you tell me that bastard Robert is trying to take the child from you?"

Harper had gone to see Caspian today for a personal matter and accidentally discovered Robert's lawsuit.

Caspian couldn't stop her in time.

Harper understood immediately that Robert was trying to take the child from Molly.

Harper didn't confront Caspian, probably because Molly had asked him not to tell her to avoid worrying her.

Harper couldn't believe that shameless Robert had the nerve to ask for the child.

Molly was already so pitiful, and now he wanted to take away her last bit of hope.

"That bastard, I will definitely find him and curse him out!" Harper was so angry that she didn't notice Molly's situation.

Molly tried to stay calm and said, "I'm fine, Harper. Don't go looking for him; it won't solve anything. Robert won't listen to you, don't get yourself worked up."

"I'll get worked up, but I still have to curse him out. Otherwise, I'll be suffocated. I haven't seen such a bad person in a long time." Harper was determined to confront Robert.

Hearing Harper say this, Molly felt somewhat relieved. Not encountering bad people for a long time meant Francis had protected her well.

Molly saw the headlights from the car behind and felt a tightness in her chest. She said, "Harper, I can't talk now. I have something to do. Let's talk tomorrow."

As she reached to hang up the phone, there was a loud crash!

The silver car hit her again, and the bumper of Molly's car fell to the ground.

Molly screamed in fear, and Harper heard it on the other end.

Harper anxiously asked, "Molly, what's wrong? Where are you? Are you in danger?"

Molly's forehead hit the steering wheel, causing it to bleed. Dazed, she thought that if she died here today, she couldn't leave without saying anything.

Molly gasped for breath and said, "Harper, tell Taylor that I love him, I have never stopped loving him."

Even though there were times of confusion, where her intense hatred for Robert overshadowed her maternal love, in the end, her love for Taylor prevailed. Taylor was Molly's life, an indispensable part of her.

Harper sensed something was wrong and anxiously said, "Molly, don't scare me. What's happening? Where are you? Hold on, I'm coming to find you!"

Molly didn't know if there was enough time. She held her bleeding forehead, but still tried to start the car. "Harper, and tell Kyle something for me."
