Chapter 325 Showing Off

My fave color? Blue, hands down. All shades of it. To me, it's the most gorgeous thing ever.

With the sales assistant's help, I slipped into the fitting room to try on some clothes.

People always said I had this old-school beauty when I was quiet.

When I swung open the fitting room door, there was Brad, right in front of me.

Maybe the skirt was a bit tight, 'cause I found myself walking all fancy-like. Guess your vibe really does change with your outfit.

The sales assistant gasped, "Wow, it's like this dress was made just for you. Miss, you're the most stunning person we've seen in this."

Since I stepped out, Brad's eyes were glued to me.

"How do I look?" I asked, doing my best TV diva impression, swaying my hips and twirling around.

Brad got up, totally ignoring the sales assistants, pulled me close, and whispered in my ear, "Babe, you're like a masterpiece. What am I gonna do? I just wanna keep you all to myself."

Brad was laying it on thick again. Could I really be that stunning?

That day, I tried on five dresses, and Brad was in awe every single time. With each dress, he whispered sweet nothings in my ear, making me feel on top of the world and making the sales assistants green with envy.

When it was time to pay, the store manager herself helped us out. She said they'd never seen anyone rock a dress like I did and even gave us a ten percent discount.

I did the math on the savings, and Brad ruffled my hair affectionately a bunch of times.

Even at bedtime, my ears were still warm. That night, Brad couldn't stop touching and kissing me.

For Jenny's birthday party, I put on Brad's favorite dress. Standing in front of the mirror, I felt pretty pleased with myself. The only thing missing was a hair accessory by my temple. But even without it, I looked fab.

I reached out to smooth my hair by my temple and smiled at my reflection. Brad walked out from behind me, catching my eye in the mirror with a smile, his amazement and love clear as day.

He came up beside me and kissed my cheek lightly. "Baby, you look amazing. I've got a gift for you; close your eyes."

I said, "No way, I wanna see you take it out."

Brad kissed my forehead and coaxed me gently, "Come on, baby; close your eyes."

I couldn't resist Brad's gentle touch. He smelled so fresh and clean. I leaned into his arms and closed my eyes like a good girl.

I felt something cool in my hair, and when I opened my eyes, there was a hair accessory by my temple that matched my earrings perfectly in both color and material.

When I was trying on the dress, I only thought about it in my mind. I didn't expect Brad to read my thoughts and get me the hair accessory I wanted. I had no clue when or where he bought it.

"Brad," I called his name sweetly.

Brad kissed my cheek and eyes, his voice low and gentle. "You're my treasure. How could I not know what you want?"

"Brad, do you have some kind of mind-reading superpower?" I asked, a bit uneasy, worried he could see through all my thoughts.

Brad pinched my nose playfully and said, "Mind-reading? Nah, this is just us being in sync."

Later, I asked him how he managed to be so in sync with me. Brad said that when someone puts all their thoughts and attention into another person, keeping them in their eyes and heart at all times, they just get to know that person's thoughts and needs instantly.

Jenny's birthday party was just like Brad predicted; it was in a hall of the fanciest hotel in Regalia, decked out in a cute and pure style.

The place was grand, and it looked like a ton of money was spent. I wondered how Jenny pulled it off. The world of the rich is something us regular folks just can't imagine. But honestly, the fancy decor mixed with the cute stuff looked kinda off.

People often try to do something on a whim, thinking they can change things up, but it usually backfires. I shook my head and sighed, feeling bad for such a nice hotel.

Brad tilted his head to look at me, pursed his lips in sync, looked at the venue, and shook his head too.

When we got there, the hall was already packed. A few people came over to greet Brad. He paused for a moment, then smoothly started chatting with them.

"Brad, your girlfriend is stunning. You not only have good taste but are also super lucky."

"She's just too beautiful, making me constantly worry that I'm not good enough for her." Brad moved my hand to his shoulder, proudly showing me off.
