Frederick said, "Hope there isn't a big problem. Let's go check it out quickly."
Amelia and Frederick followed the doctor inside.
Paige knew they came through the Smiths, so the doctor would fast-track the results. She didn't expect them so quickly. These doctors really treated her like a VIP.
The doctor walked over with the report and said to Paige, "Mrs. Parker's test results are out."
Paige took the test reports, which she could understand.
Frederick and Amelia stood by, listening to the test results.
"Her condition is not optimistic. She has acute kidney failure. We recommend finding a suitable kidney donor as soon as possible." Paige was stunned by the doctor's words.
Paige knew the Sacklers had drugged Luan, causing a five-year coma and severe organ damage. She hadn't expected such severe consequences so quickly. Reading the test report, she understood without explanation and realized Luan's condition was dire.
After a long time, Paige seemed to accept the result. She said in a faint voice, "I got it. Arrange for me to do a matching test first, and we'll talk after the results come out."
They were biological mother and daughter, so the matching success rate would be high.
As long as they matched, Paige would be ready to donate a kidney to Luna, solving the problem.
The doctor nodded and instructed the assistant doctor beside him.
The assistant doctor immediately arranged for Paige to do the matching test.
Paige sat stiffly on the sofa with the test results in her hand, remaining silent for a long time.
Luna had suffered too much. It was hard enough to get the antidote and wake up, but her body hadn't fully recovered before acute kidney failure appeared.
After the doctor left, Amelia sat down beside Paige. Seeing her eyes dim, Amelia quickly asked, "Are you okay?"
It took Paige a long time to recover. "I'm fine."
She glanced towards the ward. Luna seemed to be doing well today, but Xena had caused a scene in the morning, and she didn't know if it would affect her.
Paige thought, 'Right, Xena is also her biological daughter. She should also do the matching test.'
Paige immediately took out her phone to call Xena, but she found that Xena had still blocked her number.
Paige turned to Amelia. "Amelia, use your phone to call Xena for me."
Amelia realized that Paige wanted Xena to come for the matching test. So she immediately called Xena.

Xena angrily shouted, "Paige, who do you think you are? What right do you have to order me around? When I wanted to see her, you didn't let me. Now that I've left the hospital, you allow me to see her?"
Paige stated, "This is your only chance. Take it or leave it. If not, don't bother coming back."
For Xena, reverse psychology was the most effective.
Paige hung up, and Xena started cursing.
At a place where she could turn around, Xena turned the steering wheel and drove back to the hospital.
"Paige, don't think I'm coming back for you. I have more important things to do, so I'm coming back. Do you think you can command me? Impossible!" Cursing, Xena returned to the hospital.
Paige's face looked much better than before. However, the door to Luna's ward was still tightly closed.
Xena shouted, "Didn't you say I could see my mom? What does this mean? The door is closed, and I still can't go in?"
Paige, who no longer had the energy to argue with Xena, sat on the sofa, hoping Xena would quiet down and wait for the doctor to inform them about the matching test.
Seeing Paige ignoring her, and Amelia and Frederick sitting in the lounge, Xena immediately walked over. "Why are you two here? I can't even see my mom, but you two outsiders are sitting here. What does this mean?"
Paige impatiently said, "Why are you shouting? After the doctor does a check, you'll be able to see Mom."
Seeing Amelia and Frederick sitting there, and Paige not asking them to leave, Xena thought about how Luna would cling to Paige in fear if she saw her and how to deal with it if Amelia and Frederick saw it.
