Paige's face clearly showed displeasure; she was very unhappy with Lily's efficiency!

She said, "Because of my mother, Mrs. Parker's love for me, I forgive Louis for what he did to me."
Pearl thought for a moment and realized that Paige was forgiving Louis for his involvement in the plot to send her to prison because of Luna.
She forgave him not for Louis's sake, but because Luna had given her all the motherly love in adversity.
Luna's life was also tough, yet she scrimped and saved to prepare birthday gifts for Paige.
She couldn't even leave the Sackler family's house but begged to have Paige back for her birthday.
For Luna's sake, Paige was willing to forgive Louis.
The motherly love, which should have belonged to Louis, was all given to her.
