Chapter 367 I'll carry you back to the room and tell you slowly.

Raymond's smile was unmistakable. "Bradley, Paige is back!"

Bradley had no mind to listen to Raymond at this moment and rushed straight to Paige.

Raymond stood there, completely ignored.

Shaking his head, Raymond quipped. "Reality! This is what true family looks like!"

However, Raymond wasn't angry at all; instead, he immediately followed.

As soon as Paige stepped through the door, Bradley greeted her. "Paige, you're finally back."

Seeing Paige again, Bradley was already in tears.

He thought it would be a long time before they met again, but Raymond's efficiency was impressive.

Seeing Bradley again, Paige felt a bit overwhelmed.

The words got stuck in her throat.

Bradley walked up, took Paige's hand, and immediately found his place. "It's good you're back, Paige. You don't know how happy and scared I've been these days."

Paige finally called out, "Grandpa."

Being with Raymond meant she couldn't avoid the existence of the Carnegie family.

Her conflict with Francesca made it impossible to acknowledge her as her mother, but that didn't mean she couldn't be family with Bradley.

Bradley raised Raymond, which was a debt of gratitude.

Between her and Bradley, there was not only a blood connection but also a bond of fate.

Moreover, when she was Raymond's wife, Bradley treated her very well.

Hearing Paige call him grandpa, Bradley was so moved that he began to well up tears.

Then he wiped them away and said, "Thank goodness you still acknowledge me as your grandpa."

Paige lifted her head to face Bradley and nodded. "Forgive me for only being able to acknowledge this identity briefly after stepping through this door."

Once she stepped out of this door, she still had to be Xanthe Ellison.

Wesley helped her grow and taught her valuable skills, and even now, he can't come back openly. How could she betray him, abandon her identity as Xanthe Ellison, and just return to the Carnegie family?

Moreover, even if she wanted to return to the Carnegie family, it wasn't the right time yet.

Raymond hadn't reclaimed his identity yet. If she returned, wouldn't it create more conflicts?

Bradley nodded, "Paige, you've been wronged. You are part of the Carnegie family, but right now, I can only send the servants away to acknowledge you. You unexpectedly married Raymond, and this identity is not something outsiders should know."

Paige understood all of this.

Now that she knew she and Raymond were not related by blood, she felt no burden.

Paige said, "It's not a grievance. It's just that after more than twenty years, I finally know who I am, and there's a bit of disappointment. Although I was abandoned, I know I wasn't abandoned by everyone in the family."

Francesca abandoned her, but Bradley did not.

Raymond stood aside, reluctant to interrupt this touching scene.

Fortunately, Bradley finally remembered him.

Bradley said, "Paige, don't think that way. Francesca must have had her reasons. She doesn't want to talk about it, so don't hate her. You see, after all the twists and turns, fate still brought you back. Raymond married you, and no matter how you look at it, you are part of our family."

Bradley knew that the child-swapping incident wasn't solely Francesca's responsibility.

Gregory was clearly aware, and he knew what kind of person Gregory was.

Unless there were compelling reasons, how could Gregory agree to swap his own child with someone else's?

Although Bradley still didn't understand the reasons, he wanted to see the family live happily together.

But seeing Bradley mention Francesca, Raymond feared that if he continued, Paige would become unhappy.

So he quickly changed the subject. "Bradley, stop rambling. Paige just got home, and you're talking her ear off. Can you let us have some time together?"

Raymond's words immediately eased the tension that arose when Francesca was mentioned, and Paige's mood began to cool.

Before Paige had a chance to get upset, Raymond had already pulled her into his arms.

Paige's smile returned.

Bradley nodded, "Alright, I'm interfering with your time. I'll leave, okay?"

Now that Raymond and Paige had reconciled, he had no more worries.

But just as Bradley was about to leave, he suddenly remembered something very important. "By the way, Paige, how have you been feeling lately?"

When mentioning her health, Bradley instinctively glanced at Paige's belly.

Paige immediately understood what Bradley meant.

Following his gaze, she looked down at her belly, "I'm fine, and the baby is fine too."

Bradley breathed a sigh of relief. "Good. As long as everything is fine. These days, I haven't been able to sleep, worried that your young subordinates couldn't take good care of you and made you suffer."

Paige replied, "You don't need to worry about that. They may be young, but they've been through a lot and are very reliable."

Bradley nodded, "The day you left the hospital on your own, I've been worried ever since."

Raymond felt the same way. When Bradley mentioned it, he tightened his grip on Paige's hand.

Paige comforted them. "It's okay now. I'm a doctor and I understand my body. I'll take good care of myself."

Although Paige said this, she still lacked confidence.

After successfully preserving her pregnancy, she kept the team Pearl had assembled to care for her during her pregnancy.

Because after getting pregnant, Paige realized that this wasn't the best timing for a child.

When she first got pregnant, she didn't even know and had used some of her lab's injections.

She wasn't sure if this would affect the baby.

She had to wait for Locas to come and check her thoroughly to know for sure.

But it might not necessarily be bad news, so Paige didn't plan to mention it and make everyone worry with her.

Bradley nodded, "That's good. I'm old now, and as long as you all are well, I feel comforted. Alright, I won't interfere with your reunion. Paige, now that you're home, stay as long as you want. If you need anything, just let me know, and I'll arrange it."

Paige nodded. As soon as Bradley left, Raymond scooped Paige up in his arms.

Suddenly feeling weightless, Paige instinctively wrapped her arms around Raymond's neck.

Looking at her, Raymond lowered his voice and said, "Paige, you have no idea how much I've missed you these days. I'll carry you to our room and then tell you slowly."
