Chapter 200 "Babe, am I impressive or what?"

Lily and Oliver stared at each other, totally floored. They never thought their carefully laid plan would clash with Raymond's bold counterattack.

But the craziest part? How on earth did Raymond and Paige figure out who they really were? They hadn't slipped up once.

Caught in a bind, Lily gripped the pouch tight and snapped at Raymond, "Raymond, are you seriously gonna let this go?"

Raymond shot her a cold look, his voice icy. "Maybe you should open it and see what's inside first."

The moment he said that, Lily knew she’d been played. She ripped open the pouch and found a piece of paper with their real address in Arcadia on it.

Oliver leaned in for a look and was just as stunned. "What the hell?" Oliver asked Lily. There was no way Raymond should know their real address.

Lily was baffled. "Wasn't it supposed to be clues to the secret funds?"

Raymond chuckled. "Secret funds? Lots of folks want those clues. But from now on, none of you are going anywhere."

With that, Raymond signaled his bodyguards. They moved in to take down Lily and Oliver. Naturally, Lily and Oliver fought back.

A fierce battle broke out. Even though they were outnumbered, Lily and Oliver, with their top-notch training and killer combat skills, held their own against Raymond's crew.

Paige watched from the sidelines, cool as a cucumber. "I really underestimated you." She was about to jump in herself, lifting her skirt to join the fray, but Raymond stopped her.

Raymond, now fully standing from his wheelchair, didn't need Paige to get her hands dirty. He gently pushed Paige behind him. "Babe, don't let them mess up your dress. Leave this to me."

Raymond shrugged off his suit jacket, tossed it aside, and marched towards the fight. This was the first time Paige saw Raymond in action. The guy who'd been in a wheelchair all day, looking a bit pale, turned out to be a total badass.

Raymond moved with speed and precision. His technique was flawless. At first, Lily and Oliver managed to hold their ground. But soon, they realized they were no match for Raymond.

Raymond didn't hesitate, and one wrong move could mean the end for Lily and Oliver. The fight got tougher for them. They had to dodge deadly blows and keep Raymond from overpowering them.

As the intense battle raged on, Paige sat back in a chair, watching the whole thing like it was the best show in town.

Paige was blown away by Raymond's slick moves. Who would've thought the guy pretending to be stuck in a wheelchair was not only fully capable but also a total pro?

She watched him closely with a smile. Raymond made the whole thing look like a walk in the park.

Even though he had them cornered, Raymond didn't rush to finish them off. He gave them just enough hope while blocking every escape route. For Raymond, this was a game of cat and mouse. He seemed to relish the chase, not in any hurry to catch his prey.

Paige saw right through him and played along, pretending to be just a spectator. It was like Raymond was putting on a show for her, every smooth move silently asking, "Babe, am I impressive or what?"

Raymond had seen Paige in action before. She was just as ruthless and efficient, never showing mercy.

After watching enough, Paige finally spoke up, "That's enough. Stop wasting time." She was right; dragging it out any longer was pointless.

With her cue, Raymond quickly wrapped things up. In no time, he had Lily and Oliver captured, handing them over to his bodyguards.

"Keep a close eye on them. No escapes, no suicides," Raymond ordered.

"Yes sir," his subordinate replied, hustling them away.

The wedding venue was a mess, decorations trashed from the fight. Raymond dusted himself off and walked over to Paige. "So, did you enjoy the show?" he asked with a grin.

Paige laughed. "Raymond, do you really think a little performance is gonna cover up everything that happened? I'm still waiting for you to explain everything. So, where do you plan to start?"

She looked at him with keen interest. Lately, they'd been meeting in secret, almost like thieves. And Paige had been pretty patient. Raymond couldn't dodge this one.

Raymond took a deep breath. He knew he couldn't escape this. If he didn't spill everything, he probably wouldn't even get to sleep in Paige's bed tonight.

For the sake of future peace, Raymond had to come clean. But he pulled Paige into his arms and whispered in her ear, "Babe, it's a long story. How about we go home, take a bath, find a cozy spot, and then I'll tell you everything, okay?"

Paige's eyes widened. A bath, a cozy spot, and then talk? She doubted they'd be doing much talking. She gently pushed against his chest. "Raymond, it's not that simple! Do you think it's just about Lily? You seem to have a bad memory. Who dragged me into the Windrain Tower mess? Don't you think it's time to settle that score?"
