Chapter 325 Mrs. Carnegie is Pregnant, Bleeding Situation is Urgent

Raymond ran over, holding Paige's spare car key. The moment he opened the car door, he pulled Paige out.

Charles's men had the area completely surrounded, blocking off traffic. Despite many people being curious about the severity of the accident, no one could figure out what was going on until the scene was cleared.

Raymond placed Paige in the car and urged Charles, "Did someone break your hand? Drive faster!"

Charles was sweating profusely and didn't dare to respond. From the rearview mirror, he could see that Paige was still unconscious.

It was unclear whether she was unconscious due to the car accident or her own health condition.

Fortunately, she was driving a high-safety luxury car, and the other car involved was also a luxury vehicle, so there were no casualties. Paige was rushed to the hospital, and when Raymond carried her inside, the hospital director and doctors were already waiting.

Raymond placed Paige on a hospital bed and urgently commanded, "Give her a full-body examination, quickly, don't waste any time."

The director personally assured Raymond, "Mr. Carnegie, don't worry."

Paige was taken into the emergency room. Since no external injuries were found, they didn't need to treat any wounds first. They immediately started various tests, fearing internal injuries from the crash.

After all, she was still unconscious and hadn't woken up.

Raymond waited outside the emergency room. The first to arrive were Pearl and others, followed by Francesca, Amelia, and Louis.

Pearl said, "Mr. Carnegie, given today's situation, it might not be appropriate for too many people to be here. Should Charles have your subordinates leave?"

When Pearl arrived, the hospital was already surrounded by several circles of people.

Pearl could understand Raymond's feelings and intentions; after all, bringing so many people was just to protect Paige.

However, Pearl was unsure about the future of Paige and Raymond's marriage.

Currently, the only ones who could fully support and protect Paige were the four of them.

Raymond had always been suspicious of the forces behind Paige, but he was well aware of Pearl and the others' loyalty to her.

So, Raymond agreed to Pearl's suggestion.

Raymond said, "Charles, have everyone leave. There's no need to stay outside."

Charles nodded and replied, "Yes, Mr. Carnegie."

He then stepped aside to make a call to disperse the crowd.

Pearl nodded slightly to Raymond in thanks and then looked over at Francesca.

Although the truth about their backgrounds had been revealed, Louis, who had followed Amelia, was now standing beside Francesca, supporting the exhausted woman.

Despite the changes, their relationship didn't seem too different from their trip to Northern Country, though it wasn't entirely the same either.

Even though they weren't biologically mother and son, Francesca had cared for and nurtured Louis as her own for many years. At this moment, despite her weakness, Louis was the first to support her.

However, the truth still caused some awkwardness between them.

Perhaps such wounds would take time to heal.

Since returning from Northern Country, Pearl had been investigating Francesca's background on Paige's orders, but the findings were limited.

The information about Francesca marrying into the Carnegie family was almost public knowledge and easily accessible, so it wasn't particularly valuable.

However, details about Francesca's life before marriage were scarce. The only information available was about her wedding to Gregory, which was publicly announced. Pearl couldn't find anything deeper.

For others, this might seem normal.

But for the perceptive Pearl, it was highly unusual.

Francesca's identity was clearly concealed.

On the surface, she came from an ordinary family with deceased parents.

Yet, aside from the Carnegie family's resources, Francesca could mobilize other resources that an ordinary person couldn't.

What kind of background was she hiding? Pearl couldn't figure it out and had no satisfactory answer for Paige.

This made Pearl wary of Francesca, and learning that Paige was Francesca's daughter was even more shocking.

At this moment, Pearl approached Francesca and said, "Francesca, as you can see, Mr. Carnegie has already withdrawn his subordinates. Do you think you could also..."

Before Pearl could finish, Francesca interrupted emotionally, "Ms. Southern, I know Paige's capable assistants. I brought these people not only for her sake but also for my own safety. Rest assured, they won't disturb any patients or doctors outside the hospital. They're all in plain clothes, blending in with ordinary people, and won't attract any attention."

Earlier, when the lab door opened, Raymond's men had blocked her. Now at the hospital, she wasn't going to give Raymond another chance.

So, she wouldn't let her people leave first.

Pearl sighed helplessly. If it were before Francesca's identity was revealed, Pearl would have immediately had Julian clear out Francesca's people.

But now, Pearl wasn't sure if she could do that.

While Pearl was in a dilemma, someone came out of the emergency room. "Mr. Carnegie, Mrs. Carnegie has woken up. Currently, Mrs. Carnegie has unexplained uterine bleeding. We're waiting for the test results..."

Before the person could finish, another came running with the test report, saying, "The test results are out. The situation is a bit complicated. Mrs. Carnegie is pregnant. Due to the impact, there's uterine bleeding. We must either immediately protect the pregnancy or choose to terminate it..."

Before the doctor could finish, Francesca broke down and shouted, "No pregnancy protection!"
