Chapter 231 Don't Worry, I Know What to Do
Dylan was always daydreaming about Grace.
Over time, he figured out it wasn't just pity he felt—it was straight-up longing. He missed her standing there, spilling her guts about her crappy marriage with that sad look on her face. And he missed the way she trusted him.
So, Dylan started making trips to Vesper City just to see her q.
He even got Sarah into ArtScape Academy in Vesper City, just so he'd have more excuses to drop by and see Grace. it was just for a quick meal or a coffee.
But for Dylan, that had been enough! Now, though, it was all gone, totally gone.
In Grace's world, Dylan's feelings were trash—pathetic and dirty.
Grace got back to the villa, and Clara was with the kids. Hearing footsteps, Clara looked up. Grace slowly changed her shoes at the door and said softly, "I'm thinking of heading to Vesper City. It's not just for Sarah; it's for Oliver too. Now that things are better, I don't want him living in hate."
Clara nodded. The departed were gone, and the living mattered most.
While booking her flight, Grace told Clara, "I'll be back in two days tops! If anything comes up, just get Henry; he'll handle it."
Even though she and Henry had a rough split, he was still the one she trusted most.
Clara nodded. "Don't worry, I got this."
Grace noticed a few gray hairs at Clara's temples and felt a pang of guilt. She gently held Clara's hand and said softly, "Clara, if you meet someone..."
"What are you talking about!" Clara gently refused, saying, "I'll just take care of your kids, and later I'll take care of Oliver's kids. Four or five kids are enough for me. My life's full as it is; why find some old guy to take care of?"
Grace laughed.
Clara laughed too. "I'm serious! What old man could be better than your dad? If they can't compare, I don't want anyone else."
Grace let it drop.
The next morning, she flew to Vesper City and headed straight to the Windsor Group HQ.
Oliver wasn't there, so Zoey reluctantly dealt with Grace. She made coffee and dodged the truth with her words.
"Fine! If you won't say." Grace put down the cup and smiled faintly. "Then I won't leave! As long as Oliver doesn't show up, I'll stay here. I'm sure the company has urgent business that needs him."
Zoey had no choice but to call Oliver. After a moment, she hung up, walked over in her high heels, and sighed, "Ms. Windsor, please follow me."
The company sent a car to take them to the villa.
But when Grace arrived, Oliver and Sarah were nowhere to be found.
At that time, Lester had just had his hands broken, and Sarah was confirmed pregnant. The big villa was quiet, with only a few servants moving around.
Zoey said softly, "Mr. Windsor took Mrs. Windsor out for a break."
Grace forced a smile. "Are they really that in love?"
Clearly, Grace didn't buy it and wanted to go upstairs to check things out.
Zoey didn't dare stop her. Grace was not only Oliver's sister but also the second-largest shareholder of the Windsor Group. Plus, she had her own successful career and tons of connections in Vesper City. Zoey couldn't afford to piss her off!
Grace headed upstairs alone, making a beeline for the master bedroom on the east side of the second floor. She swung open the door, strolled through the living room, and stepped into the private bedroom. No wedding photos by the bed, nothing.
The bedroom didn't scream "little girl" either, just a small drawing board on the sofa. The sketch was half-done, but you could tell it was Oliver.
In the walk-in closet, there weren't many of Sarah's clothes, and even fewer of Oliver's!
Grace gently touched Sarah's delicate fabrics. She could guess Oliver wasn't treating Sarah right. Otherwise, how could there be so few clothes after living together for a year?
Grace didn't linger and slowly made her way downstairs. Zoey's face was noticeably tense. Grace asked her, "Oliver doesn't come here much, does he?"
This time, Zoey didn't lie. She nodded. "Yeah, about once a week."
Grace didn't push it. Asking more would just dig up a cruel story. She was ready to leave. But then, a few young bodyguards came out of the basement carrying buckets. The water in the buckets was blood-red.
She was stunned and looked at Zoey, who felt a chill down her spine.
Grace ended up staying in Vesper City for a week.
A week later, she landed at Evergreen City International Airport. At the exit, she spotted Dylan. They locked eyes through their sunglasses, and finally, Grace went through customs and followed him to a coffee shop at the airport.
They sat down, and Grace took off her sunglasses, her expression icy. "Are you stalking me?"
After a few days apart, Dylan looked way more haggard.
He ordered coffee for Grace, and while waiting, he pulled out a cigarette but didn't light it because, well, airport rules.
Dylan looked at Grace, his voice tense. "I didn't mean to stalk you. I just want to know where Sarah is. The people I sent to Vesper City were all dealt with by Oliver. I can't reach her."
Just then, the waiter brought the coffee.
Grace lowered her head and gently stirred it but didn't drink.
Honestly, ever since she found out the truth, she never thought she'd be sitting and having coffee with Dylan again. He was indirectly responsible for Nathan's death!
But now, because of Sarah, Grace was here sitting with Dylan.
After a long pause, she looked up at him.
There was a glimmer of moisture in Grace's eyes. Maybe Sarah's situation hit close to home, so she felt a connection and felt sad for Sarah. That was why she stayed in Vesper City for a week.
But she didn't see Oliver; he had taken Sarah abroad.
Grace's voice was hoarse as she told Dylan, "Sarah is pregnant!"
Dylan was stunned. Having gone through family drama at a young age, he matured early and took on responsibilities. He had long since developed the ability to stay calm in any situation, yet at this moment, he lost it.
The coffee in his hand spilled onto the cigarette, soaking it.
The table was a mess, and when the waiter came over to clean up, he shouted with red eyes, "Get out!"
The entire coffee shop fell silent.
Someone recognized Dylan and snapped a picture of his disheveled state, posting it online. Of course, the photo also included Grace.
In less than an hour, they were in the hot search.

Dylan didn't know about that. He gripped the edge of the table, leaning forward, and looked at Grace, asking in a low voice, "I need to see her! Grace, please help me!"
