Chapter 355 I Should Have Stabbed a Few More Times

The cops were quiet for what felt like forever before they started grilling her again.

Sarah nailed every question. She said she killed Oliver because he cheated on her during their marriage, and she couldn't stand him.

Thanks to her story, the police headed over to Ellie's villa to gather evidence.

Windcrest newspapers were all over the Ellie scandal, calling her the most infamous mistress around. The media even dug up some of her old, risqué photos from her hostess days—pretty embarrassing stuff.

Ellie's reputation was trashed.

When Sarah heard the news, she just smirked. Ellie cared about her image, and Sarah knew hitting her where it hurt would be the best revenge.

Three days later, Oliver showed up to see Sarah.

He got there first, waiting in the small reception room. A couple of minutes later, Sarah walked in with two officers. The moment Oliver saw her, he knew she was different.

It wasn't just the prison clothes or the lack of makeup. It was the fierce look in her eyes that hadn't been there before.

Oliver looked at her and said softly, "You've changed a lot."

Sarah slowly sat down across from him. She took in his pale face and the bandages. A cold smile crept onto her lips, "That Sarah died back in Dawnstar. You made me like this, and you killed Lester and Alyssa."

"You hate me?"

"Yeah, I hate you."

Oliver lit a cigarette, scoffing lightly.

Holding it between his fingers, he asked softly, "I almost got stabbed to death by you, and you don't even ask how I'm doing, if it hurts at night."

Sarah's face was stone-cold, "I just want to know why you're not dead yet."

The veins on Oliver's forehead bulged. He had a nasty temper, and if anyone else had said that, they wouldn't be breathing. But it was Sarah, the woman he once wanted to spend his life with.

He took a deep drag on his cigarette, then put it out.

Oliver looked at her like she was a business rival, no emotion at all. "Sarah, let's talk terms. First, change your testimony. Second, I've found a cornea for you. You can have the transplant as soon as you get out, and I'll take you back to Vesper City."

Sarah's fingers clenched tightly. She asked coldly, "Oliver, why should I listen to you? What leverage do you think you have?"

He slid a photo in front of her.

It was a picture of Nicole. Oliver was holding her, and they were in a VIP ward in a Windcrest hospital.

Sarah's fingers shook. Nicole had been taken to Windcrest.

Oliver's tone was icy, "You can stick to your guns if you want. But as for Nicole, I'll dump her in some random orphanage full of abandoned kids. I've heard some of those places have some pretty dark secrets. If she's lucky, she might get adopted. If not, she could end up as a plaything for some sickos."

Sarah's body trembled uncontrollably. She looked at the man she once loved deeply, unable to believe what she was hearing.

He was such a bastard.

Sarah's lips quivered as she forced out a sentence, "I really regret not stabbing you a few more times, not sending you straight to hell."

"Too late for regrets now!" Oliver walked towards her.

Sarah sensed his intention. She wanted to run but was grabbed from behind. He kissed her roughly, his hands all over her.

Sarah struggled desperately. She didn't dare scream because she knew everyone here was on his payroll. She had to play along for now. "Oliver, I'll think about it."

Oliver pressed her body against the table. Blood seeped through his bandages, but he didn't care. He trapped her between his body and the wooden table.

Feeling her soft breasts, he whispered in her ear, "That day, you felt so good! Sarah, you hated me so much, yet you climaxed under me."
