Chapter 335 Arrange a Match for Me Now

In the end, Oliver just couldn't go on.

He crumpled down next to Sarah, curling up against her frail frame. His voice, rough and almost desperate, whispered, "Sarah, can we start over? I swear I won't leave you again. No one else, just you. I'll give you everything you ever wanted, everything you loved when you were young. Just... don't leave me."

Sarah listened, dazed. Start over? How could they start over when they never even began?

All they had between them were lies, deceit, and her naive dreams.

Sarah lay flat on the hospital bed, her clothes half-open, showing her thin, fragile body under the harsh light.

She wanted to pull her clothes together but had no strength left.

Her eyes, empty and lost, murmured, "Spring's gone, summer's almost over. In two years, Jacob will be starting school. I should've been in school too. So many times, I dream of that morning we met."

"Every time I wake up, I hate myself. If only I hadn't fallen for you that day. Maybe I'd still be on campus, or graduated and doing what I love, instead of lying here, worrying about Jacob's future."

Tears welled up in her eyes.

Oliver held her shoulder, his gaze deep and unreadable, "I won't let you die!"

He kept repeating it, not sure if he was saying it to her or himself.

The night was deep and quiet.

Outside the ward, Zoey walked in with a file. She hadn't expected to see this.

Sarah's clothes were open, exposing her thin upper body, while Oliver held her, his shirt unbuttoned and his belt undone.

The scene shocked Zoey. She finally understood why Olivia had looked so terrified. Even to her, this was horrifying.

Zoey thought Oliver had lost it, that he needed to be in a mental hospital.

Oliver glanced at Zoey.

He gently pulled Sarah's clothes back together, his movements tender. He even kissed her lips softly, "I'll take care of something and be right back."

Sarah just lay there quietly.

Zoey followed Oliver out. As soon as they left, Olivia rushed in. She held Sarah's hand, tears falling, cursing, "Mr. Windsor is such a bastard."

Sarah's face showed sorrow. She wanted to speak, but her throat was choked with emotion. After a long pause, she finally managed to say, "I want to freshen up."

Olivia sighed and went to help.

At the end of the corridor, a window was slightly open, letting the night breeze in.

Oliver lit a cigarette.

Zoey handed over the file, looking serious, "Mr. Windsor, there's good news and bad news."

Oliver took a drag, "Tell me both."

Zoey's expression was complicated. After a moment, she said, "The good news is we found Dylan. He's on a small island. The bad news is his liver can't be transplanted to Mrs. Windsor."

Oliver paused, his voice dry, "No match? How can that be? Aren't they siblings? How can they not match?"

Zoey had no answer. Accidents happened every day.

Oliver didn't speak again. He stood by the window, finishing his cigarette. When it was done, he told Zoey calmly, "Arrange a match for me."

Zoey was shocked, "Mr. Windsor, the chances are very low."

Oliver seemed not to hear. He unbuttoned two buttons of his shirt, looking down at his chest, murmuring, "We're a couple, meant for each other. Mine should work, right?"

Zoey thought he was crazy, "Mr. Windsor, we have to believe in science."

"But now, I can only believe in fate! Sarah doesn't have time to find a donor. She doesn't have much time left. Why did she become like this in just a month?"

He punched the wall. His fist bled, bright red drops on the floor tiles.

He looked at Zoey, eyes bloodshot, "Arrange it now. I want the results tonight. And don't let Grace know."

Zoey nodded, "Yes, Mr. Windsor."

She was efficient. An hour later, she had contacted one.

But at night, no one works overtime.

The institution refused, "Sorry, we can't do it now. Besides, getting results in a few hours is impossible for any institution."
