Chapter 352 I Wish You Two A Lifetime of Happiness Together
Sarah had put on a bit of weight, but she still looked slim. Her skin had that smooth glow again.
She was rocking a dress suit that fit her like a glove.
Oliver couldn't stop staring at her, feeling like it had been forever since he'd seen her.
A bridal shop worker nearby asked, "Mr. Windsor, is it okay to place your and Mrs. Windsor's wedding photo here?"
Oliver snapped back to reality. He instinctively moved closer to Sarah and grabbed her wrist. Feeling guilty, he whispered, "Let's talk outside."
"Why go outside?" Sarah shook off his hand. She glanced around at the fancy decor and chuckled, "Is this where you hide your women? Can't let anyone see?"
Oliver frowned.
Sarah's smile turned icy, "Oliver, I know rich guys like you keep a bunch of women around, and I don't really care. But Ellie? She almost killed Jacob, and you still keep her here. When you're with her, do you ever think of Jacob? Isn't that cruel?"
Oliver's gaze darkened, "I didn't sleep with her."
Before Sarah could respond, Ellie appeared at the top of the stairs, looking frail but perfectly dressed.
Ellie, looking weak, said, "Mrs. Windsor, I'm already this sick. What more do you want? Can't you even fulfill my last wish? I knew Oliver before you. Besides, he gave you his liver. What's wrong with giving me a little bit of love?"
Oliver snapped, "Ellie!"
Sarah lowered her eyes and laughed softly. Then she raised her hand and slapped Oliver hard across the face, the sound echoing loudly.
Oliver's face turned to the side from the slap.
After a moment, he slowly turned his head back, his gaze intense.
Ellie trembled with anger and screamed, "Sarah, don't go too far. This is my home."
"Your home?" Sarah's face was cold. She walked up to Ellie, pointed around, and said, "If I remember right, Oliver and I are still legally married. Half of this house he bought for you is mine. Oliver, you promised me that as long as I'm your wife, half of your property is mine."
Oliver didn't deny it.
Sarah let out another cold laugh, "Honestly, I don't care if you two are together. As long as he agrees to my terms, I'll leave right now and give you this place. After that, you two can rot together for all I care."
Ellie trembled, "Sarah, you just hate me for taking Jacob! But that was a misunderstanding. Oliver has already forgiven me."
"I haven't forgiven you!"
With that, Sarah picked up the nearest vase and smashed it over Ellie's head.
Ellie's head was instantly busted open. Blood trickled down her face as she screamed, "It hurts! Oliver, it hurts so much!"
Oliver rushed over, pressing his hand against her wound and shouting for the servants.
The servants hurried over, panicking, "Mrs. Windsor's head is bleeding!"
The term "Mrs. Windsor" sounded so ironic to Sarah, but she didn't care. She stayed calm, even relaxed, "Oliver, you always say Jacob and I mean the most to you. So, you wouldn't blame me for smashing her head, right?"
The servants helped Ellie away.
The workers scattered like birds, realizing Sarah was Oliver's wife, here to catch a mistress.
The big hall fell eerily quiet.
Oliver had a bad temper. He liked gentle, soft women, but the current Sarah was practically crazy, sharp, and willful. In his anger, he instinctively raised his hand to hit her.
Sarah didn't flinch.
Oliver's hand stopped mid-air, the slap never landing.
He stared at Sarah. For just a moment, there was a hint of tears in her eyes and a trace of some unknown disappointment.
He suddenly remembered their first kiss, when Sarah had trembled all over.
Back then, her eyes were filled with intense love for him.
But now, her gaze was only cold.
Sarah spoke softly, "Why not hit me? Why not stand up for your darling?"
Oliver regained his composure and was about to speak when Sarah raised the vase again and smashed it over his head. She didn't hold back, aiming to kill him. She thought, if Oliver died, she'd just go to jail. Zoey would find Nicole, and she'd arrange for Nicole and Jacob's future.
Sarah wore a cold smile, her voice hoarse as she said, "Oliver, I wish you two a lifetime of happiness together!"
Oliver ignored his bleeding head and grabbed Sarah's wrist, pulling her into his arms. He looked into her eyes, seeing something unfamiliar. He thought it must be because of Lester. If it weren't for Lester, how could Sarah bear to treat him like this?
Oliver's Adam's apple bobbed.
Suddenly, he dragged Sarah outside. From the stairs, Ellie's voice called out, "Oliver!"
He ignored her.
Ellie fell on the stairs, digging her nails into her palm, muttering, "I knew I couldn't keep him. The moment she showed up, he only had eyes for her!"
A servant nearby softly comforted, "Mrs. Windsor..."
A slap landed on the servant's face.
Ellie screamed in anger, "What Mrs. Windsor? Can't you see? His wife is here! I'm the mistress, and he still keeps himself for Sarah! How ridiculous."
The servant covered her swollen face, not daring to speak again.
