Chapter 263 The Truth About Neil's Amnesia Is About to Be Revealed

Suddenly, her eyes went wide with shock. Abby glanced at Neil, then at Henry, and it hit her—they looked so much alike, just with different vibes.

Through the faint smoke, Henry said, "Yeah, he's my dad! He's got a wife. If he wants a new one, he's gotta divorce my mom first! Ms. Rivera, you're all ambitious, aiming to be my stepmom?"

Abby's face went pale. After a bit, she still wanted to bring up the harassment, thinking there were no cameras anyway.

Henry put out his cigarette, his tone cold, "Go ahead. File a lawsuit. The Montague Group will send a team of lawyers and make it public. I bet Ms. Rivera won't find another job, and you'll find yourself isolated."

Abby's face turned even whiter.

Henry stood up, smiling slightly. "You've got two choices. First, as stated earlier. Second, admit you lied, serve a 7-day detention, and the Montague Group will issue a letter of understanding."

He didn't wait for a response and headed for the door.

Abby called out, "Mr. Montague!"

Henry ignored her, paused, and said to Neil, "You coming?"

Neil quickly followed.

At the door, they bumped into the lawyer Harold Rivera. Seeing them, Harold said, "I thought this was gonna be tough, but Mr. Montague handled it in no time."

Henry sneered, "Save it!"

Harold wiped his sweat and greeted Neil, "Mr. Montague, you must've been scared."

At this point, Abby realized she had messed with the wrong people.

Outside, the wipers on the black car swayed back and forth.

Sawyer saw them and immediately opened an umbrella, supporting Neil, who was feeling uneasy.

Henry got in the car first, then looked out and said to Neil, "Get in!"

Neil got in and explained, "I didn't do anything to her! She kept bothering me."

Henry saw Abby and thought of Riley, saying without thinking, "You are quite the charmer!"

Neil felt awkward.

Sawyer laughed, "Yeah, you're a real charmer! Women can't stay away from you." He closed the car door and hit the gas.

The car was quiet, except for the rain outside.

Neil still felt uneasy.

Henry looked out the window, then said softly after a while, "Stay at my place tonight, we'll talk tomorrow."

Neil said, "My medicine! I haven't taken it yet."

Henry glanced at him, knocked on the front seat, and told Sawyer, "Head to his apartment."

Sawyer nodded. "Got it."

Twenty minutes later, the black car stopped in front of Neil's apartment building. Neil was about to get out, but Henry said calmly, "Give me the key. I'll get your medicine."

After a moment, Neil handed the key to Henry.

Henry got out and went into the building. Soon, the stairwell lights came on.

He unlocked the apartment door, and the lights flicked on. He easily found the medicine bottle on the table. Coincidentally, Neil hadn't closed the lid after taking the medicine last time, and a few pills had fallen out.

As Henry picked them up, he suddenly pinched one of the small pills, frowning slightly.

This medicine was wrong.

Downstairs, the wipers on the black car's windshield kept moving.

Sawyer was chatting with Neil.

Sawyer said, "Don't be fooled by Mr. Montague's cold face, he really cares about you! Just look at this weather—it's pouring, and he didn't want you to go out, so he went to get your medicine himself."

Sawyer added, "He's way better than my kid."

Neil, having lived a simple life for over 20 years, was very easygoing. He not only agreed with Sawyer but also praised Sawyer's son for being successful.

Sawyer smiled. "Mr. Montague gave him that manager position as a chance! I don't even know how to thank Mr. Montague."

Neil felt a sense of pride.

In the years he was away, the Montague Group's market value had skyrocketed under Henry's leadership. He was so proud to have such a capable son.

As they were chatting, Henry came down from upstairs and got into the car. Sawyer was about to drive when Henry said quietly, "Head to the Montague Group's lab."

Sawyer was puzzled and wanted to ask, but seeing Henry's serious expression in the rearview mirror, he decided to keep quiet and drove towards the destination.

The downpour was relentless.

Inside the car, it was eerily quiet. After a long time, Neil couldn't help but ask, "Henry, is something wrong?"

Henry turned to look at him.

After a moment, he opened his large hand, revealing Neil's medicine bottle. "This medicine isn't just for treating migraines. It might have some banned substances. We need to test it to find out."

Neil exclaimed, "How could this be!"

Henry didn't say anything more. He sat solemnly, staring at the storm outside, knowing that the truth about Neil's amnesia from years ago was on the brink of emerging.

An hour later, the car stopped in front of the lab.

Henry personally conducted the test.

The results showed that the white pills indeed contained banned substances that could damage the central nervous system. Long-term use could cause nerve damage, memory loss, and other symptoms.

Outside the window, the rain poured down heavily.

Henry held the small medicine bottle and said calmly, "The components match the results from your last physical exam. I think the person who has been drugging you all these years is the same one. And they're still around!"

Neil was shocked. "Who wants to harm me?"

Henry looked at him and asked softly, "Who handled this medicine? Think carefully, don't miss any steps."

Neil thought carefully and said after a while, "There's no way it was switched in the middle. I just opened this bottle this morning, and I got it directly from Mr. Chambers. There shouldn't be any problem."

"Mr. Chambers?" Henry said, "Mr. Chambers from the Montague Group's neurology department?"

Neil nodded. "Should we call him? Mr. Chambers is on the night shift today, there shouldn't be many patients at this hour."

Henry took off his lab coat and quickly walked towards the door, his voice tense, "Let's go to the hospital immediately."

Neil was stunned. He wasn't foolish; he could guess that Henry was suspecting Terrence Chambers. Even though he had trusted Terrence greatly before, in such an emergency, he trusted Henry more. Even if the whole world betrayed him, Henry wouldn't.

In the pouring rain, the car headed towards the hospital.

At this time, the hospital was brightly lit in the middle of the night.

On the second floor of the hospital.

In a small consultation room, a steamy scene was unfolding. A voluptuous woman, her clothes disheveled, was sitting on Terrence, moving rhythmically.

The bed creaked continuously. Both the man and the woman were satisfied, their bodies tightly embracing as their desire were released.

After a while, the woman didn't push him away as she usually did.

Instead, she caressed his face, her red lips moving closer to kiss him. Terrence looked at her soft body, and his desire rose again.

They had been having this affair for many years.

He did things for the woman, and she gave him her body. Even though she was no longer young, her body always brought him extreme pleasure, something his wife couldn't provide.

As they intertwined deeply again, Terrence panted, "You need to be careful lately. Henry is not easy to deal with. If he finds out there's something wrong with the medicine, he'll trace it back to us."

The woman caressed his face.

Terrence was well-maintained and could satisfy her in bed, but unfortunately, his face didn't please her. After more than 20 years, she had nearly exhausted him. Tools were meant to be sacrificed.

The woman lay in Terrence's arms, whispering seductively in his ear, "Don't worry, they'll only trace it back to you! I'll be safe and sound."

Terrence's eyes widened, his voice trembling, "What do you mean?"

As he spoke, a man's tie wrapped around his neck, tightening under his terrified gaze. Terrence's face turned red, and he waved his hands, grasping at the air, trying to call for help.

But the woman's strength was astonishing. Her beautiful face was filled with murderous intent.
