Chapter 480 Oliver: Jail? Not My First Time 1

In the parking area, Aaron was about to get into his car when Matthew spoke coolly, "Aaron, this is family business now. Don't follow us."

Aaron forced a smile. "Your affairs are my affairs, sir."

Matthew gave him a pointed look. "I don't want any additional complications."

Aaron knew better than to press the issue. He could only watch as six black SUVs disappeared from view. The moment they passed through the gates, he immediately pulled out his phone, switched the SIM card, and made a call.

He reported, "Mr. Windsor is in trouble. Matthew wouldn't let me follow. I don't know which hospital they're headed to."

At Windsor Group headquarters, Oliver ended the call and strode out of his office. Passing by Zoey's desk, he issued a terse command: "Call in every available security contractor. You're coming with me."

Zoey, sensing the emergency, immediately set to work.

Oliver took the elevator directly to the ground floor. Inside, he tried Sarah's phone, but it was switched off. He didn't try again.

The floor-to-ceiling mirror in the elevator reflected his darkened expression.

Once in his car, Oliver received a Facebook message. After glancing at it, he floored the accelerator.

About ten minutes later, Oliver arrived at a six-star hotel and used a keycard to enter a presidential suite where Hestia was in the midst of a passionate encounter with her latest lover. With Isaac's surgery scheduled for today and Matthew keeping her away, she'd found her own form of distraction.

Oliver burst through the door without warning.

As Hestia scrambled for her clothes, Oliver grabbed her by the hair and dragged her to the window. He dangled her halfway out, her body suspended over a fatal drop.

"Oliver, what are you doing?" she screamed.

"I won't waste time," he said coldly. "I'll count to three. Tell me where Sarah is, or the Moore family can collect your remains."

Hestia didn't believe he would follow through.

"One, two, three."

Oliver gave her no time to think. At three, he pushed her further out the window. Terrified to the point of losing control of her bladder, Hestia shrieked, "Rainbow Central Hospital! Sarah's there!"

With a powerful jerk, Oliver pulled her back in and threw her to the floor.

To the young man, he ordered, "Tie her up. Don't let her make any calls. And take some compromising photos while you're at it."

"Oliver, have you no respect for the law?" Hestia screamed.

Without breaking stride, Oliver's voice drifted back from the doorway: "Pray Sarah is unharmed. Otherwise, I'll wipe out every last member of the Moore family!"

At Rainbow Central Hospital, Sarah lay bound to an operating table, her eyes fixed on Matthew standing beside her.

Matthew's expression carried a hint of false compassion.

"I've spoken with the doctors," he said softly. "The bone marrow extraction will certainly terminate your pregnancy. You'll need an abortion afterward. But your life isn't in danger—a year or two of recovery and you'll be fine."

Sarah stared at the elder man in horror—years ago, he claimed to be her father, and she had believed him. Now she realized he was nothing but a monster.

Tears rolled down her face.

"Oliver won't let you get away with this," she rasped.

Matthew dismissed her threat with casual indifference. "Before that happens, I won't let you go. I'm sorry, Sarah. Your father has failed you this time."

With those words, he nodded to the doctor. "Begin the procedure."

As he left the operating room, the doctors prepared to extract Sarah's bone marrow to save Isaac's life. Sarah would miscarry, lose her child, possibly even be paralyzed.

But what did it matter? This was her fate as a member of the Moore family.

In the adjacent room, Claire was bound to a chair. Hearing the commotion, she knew Sarah was about to be violated in the worst way.

Desperate and frantic, she began slamming herself, chair and all, against the wall. She couldn't let them hurt Sarah or harm the baby she carried.

Sarah deserved happiness, not this.

Blood streamed down Claire's forehead, but she didn't stop.

Claire screamed, "Matthew, you heartless monster! Even beasts spare their young—are you worse than an animal? Do you want the Moore bloodline to die with you? Have you forgotten your vow to Sarah? Your promise to love and protect your own daughter? If you want a life so badly, take mine!"

Little Nicole sobbed uncontrollably, her tiny body clinging to Claire, crying out for her grandmother.

The winter day was bleak and grim.

Matthew heard the desperate banging and heart-wrenching cries. For a moment, his resolve wavered.

But only for a moment.

Just as he hardened his heart and gave the final order, the operating room door was violently kicked open.

It was Oliver!

Sarah lay on the operating table.

She looked at her husband, tears streaming down her face.

Oliver's heart shattered.

He knelt beside her, gently touching her, his voice breaking with emotion, "Sarah, did I come too late?"

Sarah shook her head vigorously.

Her tears fell even harder.
