Chapter 384 Sarah, Long Time No See

A cozy two-story townhouse in a quiet, picturesque part of Skylandia.

Olivia often headed into town to grab groceries and other essentials. With her, Sarah, a cook, and two kids to feed, she always came back with a carload of stuff.

The car rolled into the driveway.

As Olivia unloaded, she muttered, "All-natural, no additives. Jacob and Nicole can eat without a worry. By the time we head back home, they'll be healthier than ever."

Sarah helped out. She'd been in this small town for over a month, bought a house, and made it look amazing.

Every morning, she woke up to the scent of flowers and the sight of two adorable kids.

These little things slowly healed her inner wounds. She got healthier day by day, her complexion rosier. Olivia often said she wanted to stay here forever and never go back to Alphoria.

Olivia claimed their money could last them ten lifetimes here.

Sarah just smiled. She felt they still had to leave, maybe stay another three months tops, or it wouldn't be safe.

After a busy half-day, they finally finished tidying up.

Jacob was itching to go out and play.

Olivia, who doted on him the most, said, "I'll stay and watch Nicole. Mrs. Windsor, you take Jacob out to play. Kids his age love to play."

Sarah replied, "Just call me Sarah. I'm not Mrs. Windsor anymore."

But Olivia insisted, "Let's stick with Mrs. Windsor, I'm used to it."

Sarah didn't argue. She took Jacob out to play.

In front of the villa was a long private sycamore road, perfect for kids to ride their toy cars for a long time.

Jacob was a pro at riding his toy car.

Sarah just needed to follow behind and keep an eye on him.

As New Year's approached, the place was still lush with green leaves, and the air was filled with sunshine.

Sarah wore a black trench coat, walking on the serene private road. She felt life was particularly peaceful and beautiful. This kind of day was what she had always longed for, and now it was finally here.

Jacob rode a bit far. His toy car bumped into a luxurious black sedan, but Jacob wouldn't let it pass, blocking the way.

Sarah shook her head and smiled. She was about to run over to take Jacob away, but the car door opened, and a familiar, dignified figure stepped out.

A white shirt, black tailored suit, neatly combed hair—it was Oliver.

He got out of the car and looked towards Sarah. Their eyes met.

Sarah instinctively wanted to run. But Oliver was faster. He took a few steps and caught her from behind, wrapping his arms around her. He softly said, "Sarah, long time no see."

Sarah's body stiffened. She struggled but couldn't break free. She coldly asked, "What are you doing here?"

Oliver didn't answer. After a while, he reached for her lower abdomen and whispered, "I know everything! Sarah, we can still have children."

As soon as he finished his words, a slap landed on his face. Sarah looked at him with pain in her eyes and asked, "Oliver, are you crazy?"

Oliver took it and said, "I regret it!"

His gaze was still full of affection as he murmured, "I don't believe you don't love me anymore!"

Sarah sneered, "Oliver, what is there to love about you? Should I love your coldness, your cruelty, your infidelity, or the countless women you have around you?"

She laughed bitterly, "We were a mistake from the start!"

As she finished speaking, the bodyguard held Jacob in his arms.

Oliver dragged her over and gently said, "Sarah, let's reunite as a family. Do you want to spend New Year in Vesper City or Evergreen City? Or we can stay in Skylandia, just like a honeymoon."

Sarah trembled all over.

Jacob was too young to understand adult matters.

Oliver let go of Sarah and walked over to pick up Jacob, "Jacob has grown! Did you miss Daddy?"
