Chapter 108 Turbulence from All Directions

"This dungeon is impossible! The team's average level isn't even ten yet. Who can clear it?" Outside Shadowmoon Graveyard, Blazeclaw yelled angrily after reviving from the dungeon.

He had attempted Shadowmoon Graveyard three times and couldn't even find the Boss before being wiped out. He thopught, 'The dungeon was filled with elite monsters that seemed endless, wearing them down until they were all dead. It was incredibly frustrating.'

Lucas furrowed his thick brows, fixing his gaze upon the distant portal of Shadowmoon Graveyard, and his expression grew somber. At this rate, the losses were already too great. Continuing like this would be detrimental to the team's future development.

"Everyone, take a break. We can't waste any more time here. I bet other guilds aren't making much progress either and have died plenty of times. While they're focused on Shadowmoon Graveyard, we'll split up and tackle the level 5 Inferno Caverns. They won't be able to clear it either, and this way, we can level up significantly during this time," Lucas decided to abandon Shadowmoon Graveyard.

Getting on the Honor Roll was indeed a quick way to boost the guild's power, but it was a different story if no one could clear it. At this point, the competition was about the average level and equipment of the guild's elite team. The first person to enter Silvervale City would undoubtedly hold the advantage.

It wasn't just the members of ShadowForge Guild; every guild in Silvervale City was struggling with the team dungeons.

No one had anticipated that the team dungeons would be this difficult. They had no solutions. In past virtual games, there were always fewer monsters in dungeons than players. In Divine Realms: Legends, the number of dungeon monsters far exceeded that of players, leaving them at a loss on how to handle the situation. Even increasing MTs and healers didn't help.

After a while, members of the second-rate guild Assassin Alliance also emerged from the dungeon, dejected.

"What's wrong with you all? So what if we died a few times? Don't forget that every time we die, we make some progress. We'll clear it eventually. Don't lose heart. Think of any other ways to get through that misty area. After a break, we'll try again today," Thornheart said in the team chat.

Encouraged by Thornheart, the team regained a sense of confidence and began brainstorming, determined to conquer Shadowmoon Graveyard.

System Announcement for Silvervale City region: [Congratulations to Devouring Serpents for being the first team to clear Infernal-level Shadowmoon Graveyard. All team members are awarded 10 Silvervale City reputation points.]

System Announcement for Willowbrook Town region: [Congratulations to Devouring Serpents for being the first team to clear Infernal-level Shadowmoon Graveyard. All team members are awarded 30 Willowbrook Town reputation points.]

As various guilds were debating whether to continue or give up, the back-to-back system announcements shocked every guild in the Silvervale City region. Meanwhile, players in Willowbrook Town were initially stunned, then erupted in admiration and cheers.

"Devouring Serpents are amazing. They're like superhumans."

"I heard Ice Goddess led the dungeon run. My goddess is incredible. Other guilds haven't even cleared Common Level, but she cleared Infernal-level."

"No way, I'm joining Devouring Serpents. I'd be satisfied even to be Isabella's servant."

Word quickly spread among the players in Willowbrook Town about Devouring Serpents and Ice Goddesses, and they were filled with admiration.

Meanwhile, Silvervale City was in an uproar.

"Are you kidding me? We can't even find the Common Level Boss and Devouring Serpents cleared Infernal-level?" The guild leader of the second-rate guild, Azure Dragon Sect, slammed the table in frustration.

"Is Willowbrook Town's team dungeon easier? Thornheart should have at least cleared Common Level," the guild leader of the second-rate guild Assassin Alliance pondered over the system announcement.

While major guilds were troubled by the announcement from a small town region, a system announcement from a major city region appeared, putting even more pressure on them.

The guild leaders were overwhelmed by immense pressure. They had to speed up their progress, not because Ice Goddess had cleared the Infernal-level team dungeon but because the system announcement had such a huge impact. It catapulted Devouring Serpents to the top of Silvervale City. New players in Divine Realms: Legends might not know much about the guilds, but they knew that Devouring Serpents, which appeared in the Silvervale City announcement, must be the strongest guild in Silvervale City.

Ice Goddess's performance was outstanding, even more so than the guild leader of Devouring Serpents and the many experts in Eldoria City.

Following the system announcement, the leaders of all the premier guilds in Eldoria also became aware of the news. They realized they had underestimated the Ice Goddess's abilities. Fortunately, she wasn't in the Eldoria City region, or the consequences would have been dire.

Isabella herself wasn't quite sure what had happened. She was with Eric and others, looking at the Honor Roll of Shadowmoon Graveyard.

The Honor Roll, over 3 meters tall and 2 meters wide, was made of obsidian and already had the team and members' names engraved on it.

The spot was particularly striking, at the very top of the Honor Roll, with four large, bright red characters spelling "Devouring Serpents." Below that, in slightly smaller silver-white characters, were the names of the team members.

"Eric, look, we made it! We made it to the Honor Roll!" Tonny was overcome with such excitement that he felt tears welling up, a feeling of pride unlike anything he had experienced before in a game.

Not just Tonny, but everyone in the team was thrilled. They were grateful to be following Eric and to have become official members of Aether Wing Studios.

Members of various guilds in the distance also looked enviously at the Honor Roll.

From now on, any player entering Shadowmoon Graveyard would see these names and admire them.

However, the guild leaders regarded Isabella with a blend of admiration and helplessness, observing her cold and aloof demeanor.

The difficulty of Shadowmoon Graveyard was evident. No one would think that the Infernal-level was easier than the Common Level. It was probably several times harder. Yet Ice Goddess had led her team through it, and she had even included some random players, not her strongest team. This showed her commanding ability and strength far exceeded theirs. They weren't even on the same level.

Thinking about this, the guild leaders felt incredibly unlucky to be in the same town as Ice Goddess, destined to be overshadowed by her.

"Shadowmoon Graveyard won't be available for three days. Would you be interested in joining us for Goblin Factory in the meantime?" Isabella asked Eric seriously.

Though her voice was not loud, in the hushed surroundings outside Shadowmoon Graveyard, it carried with clarity even from a distance.

The guild leaders were dumbfounded. Who was this Eric? How could he get repeated invitations from Isabella? Did Isabella have a thing for him?

But Isabella was known to be proud. How could she be interested in this ordinary-looking guy who didn't even have the aura of a top player?

In the distance, Blazeclaw's eyes were almost popping out of his head. He was insanely jealous. Eric not only got to team up with the goddess but also had his name on the Honor Roll. His hatred for Eric multiplied exponentially.

As everyone was in shock, suddenly, over a hundred players appeared, surrounding Eric, Isabella, and their group menacingly.

"Eric, we meet again," Leo Ironblade said slowly, stepping out from the crowd, his cold gaze fixed on Eric with a sneer.
