Chapter 304 The Beast Unleashed
Although Scarlet reminded her, Isabella just shook her head slightly and smiled without saying a word.
"Are we just going to keep fighting like this?"
"We do have some advantages, but if we want to repel the Supremacy Alliance, our losses will be severe. The great advantage of Silvervale City could be lost, and you should know that the people from Eldoria City have long had opinions about you. If we lose the advantage of Silvervale City, they will definitely kick you when you're down."
Scarlet didn't understand what Isabella was thinking.
Although they had a good relationship with Black Flame, they couldn't destroy their painstakingly built power because of it.
The current battle between the two guilds was not a small skirmish but a war involving tens of thousands of people.
War cannot be easily started without sufficient benefits.
Because war was not child's play, various rewards and compensations were necessary, and there were many other expenses. In short, it's like throwing money into the water to hear the sound. If it were credit points, it wouldn't matter much since they had a large family and business, but the expenditure was in-game currency, which is not easy to come by.
If this war continues, their power in Silvervale City would regress significantly.
Scarlet knew that Isabella was a person of integrity and high character, and would not let her companions risk their lives for personal reasons. That's why many experts followed and respected her.
If it were just for personal reasons, Isabella would fight desperately, but she would never risk the entire Devouring Serpents of Silvervale City.
"Is the Guild of Aether Wing really worth pulling in and fully supporting?" Scarlet couldn't understand.
"Yes, I trust my judgment." Isabella's bright eyes shone with firm confidence. In fact, she wanted to say she believed in the potential of Black Flame and Kai Blackthorn.
Moreover, there was a hidden, powerful force behind Black Flame that Isabella had not yet uncovered.
Being able to connect with StellarTrails Emporium and sell items there is not something an ordinary force can do. At least, Isabella had never seen a guild that could connect with an NPC business. And the many experts of the Guild of Aether Wing seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. Isabella didn't believe they had no powerful backing.
How could a new guild attract so many experts so quickly?
That's why Isabella believed her judgment was not wrong.
If Isabella knew that Eric had simply brought the experts from Evergreen City in the previous life into the studio, she would be surprised.
While the Devouring Serpents and Supremacy Alliance were locked in a fierce battle, the Vice President of the Supremacy Alliance, Blood Spear, was having a headache.
"What on earth is Isabella thinking? Is it worth going all out just to help another guild?" Blood Spear looked at the guild's casualty report. They had already lost over 1,500 people, and the compensation costs were unknown. The more he looked at the death statistics on the report, the darker his face became.
No matter how he calculated, they had suffered a huge loss this time.
"RogueVortex, our Supremacy Alliance has suffered heavy losses for your grand plan. If you don't provide enough compensation, don't blame me for turning against you." Blood Spear was very angry, feeling like he had been used by RogueVortex.
"Blood Spear, please calm down. This was an unexpected incident. I didn't expect Isabella to be so crazy. I will definitely compensate for your losses." RogueVortex said it was an accident and immediately agreed to Blood Spear's request without any hesitation, or rather, he didn't dare to hesitate.
Although the Darkstar Guild was strong in Silvervale City, it was still slightly inferior to the Devouring Serpents.
If the Supremacy Alliance misunderstood something and decided to side with the Devouring Serpents to fight against the Darkstar Guild, it would be very awkward for the Darkstar Guild. RogueVortex had no choice but to offer compensation, as it was he who had asked the Supremacy Alliance to hold off the Devouring Serpents. However, compensating for the deaths of over 1,500 people was no small amount, making RogueVortex feel a bit of pain.
"Alright, since you've agreed, I won't say anything more."
While Blood Spear and RogueVortex were communicating, Rosewater and her team also arrived at the battlefield between the Devouring Serpents and the Supremacy Alliance.
"Now it's up to you," Eric commanded in the guild channel.
"President, leave it to us. Even if we die, we will make sure the Supremacy Alliance knows that teaming up with the Darkstar Guild to fight our Guild of Aether Wing is not without consequences."
"Yes, if they want to go to war with us, they need to know that our guild is not to be trifled with!"
The more than 3,000 members of the Guild of Aether Wing who had arrived were full of energy, ready to transform into beasts and tear apart any external enemies at Eric's command.
"Alright, listen to my orders. All Assassins sneak up on the Healers of the Supremacy Alliance and take them out. Shield Warriors, Guardian Knights, Berserkers, and Swordsmen charge at the center of the Supremacy Alliance and break their formation. Healers, follow closely behind and make sure no one in the front line dies. All ranged classes block their retreat completely. Don't let a single one escape. Rosewater, you will command the ranged units."
Under Eric's orders, everyone began to move in an orderly manner. Over 300 Assassins quietly sneaked forward, while the Supremacy Alliance was entirely focused on fighting the Devouring Serpents in front of them, completely unaware of the Guild of Aether Wing behind them, let alone the sneaking Assassins.
"Assassins, choose your targets. Two of you for each target. Make sure to kill them in one strike, giving the Supremacy Alliance no chance to react," Eric said in the guild channel.
"President, we are all in position," reported an Assassin team leader.
"Good. After I count down from five, we attack together. After the Assassins strike, Shield Warriors and Guardian Knights, activate your survival skills immediately. You need to be the wall that blocks all damage. Use Frostbite Grenades to break the Supremacy Alliance's first line of defense and then scatter their formation. Understood?" Eric said.
As Eric began the countdown, everyone became tense, especially the Assassins who would strike first.
The Healers of the Supremacy Alliance were completely at ease, with no sense of danger.
But you couldn't blame them.
With tens of thousands of troops in front, no enemy could get through without breaking the front lines. Even if one or two slipped through, they were no threat to the hundreds of Healers in the back. Any enemy that showed up would be dead in no time.
"Alright! Listen to my command!"
"Five... four... three... two... one."
"Kill, leave no one alive!"
As Eric shouted, over 300 Assassins attacked simultaneously, with each pair targeting a Healer from behind.
A regular Healer being ambushed by an Assassin would lose most of their health, let alone being attacked by two elite Assassins.
These Healers felt a sharp pain in the back of their heads, a wave of dizziness, and then the cold blade of a dagger slicing across their necks, causing terrifying damage numbers to appear above their heads, rendering them unable to move.
With the terrifying burst damage and continuous control skills of the two Assassins, it was nearly impossible for a Healer to survive.
In the blink of an eye, nearly 200 Healers of the Supremacy Alliance were dead. Then the other melee classes of the Guild of Aether Wing charged in, a sea of people.
Immediately, the entire area was sealed off by a guild war order, preventing anyone from using teleportation scrolls to leave the area.
