Chapter 309 Boss-level MT
The ten healers of the Darkstar Guild had no idea that six stealthy figures were rapidly approaching.
FlameDancer moved with incredible speed, closing the seven-yard distance in an instant.
A level 19 Priest didn't even have time to react, not sensing any danger at all, when a cold, icy white dagger stabbed into the back of his head, and another dagger with a burning aura appeared at his throat.
A sneak attack stunned the Priest, followed by a series of attacks.
Backstab!
Shadow Strike!
Quadruple Shadow Kill!
With Adamantite weapons, Adamantite Equipment, and even Obsidian Level Equipment, FlameDancer unleashed a terrifying series of damage on the cloth-armored Priest, dealing -774, -581, -416, -421, -419, -417 damage.
The Priest, with less than 1800 health points, was instantly killed.
The other five Assassins similarly took out the other five healers almost simultaneously.
"They dare to ambush us? They're courting death. Everyone, stay calm. Guardian Knights, cast Blessing of Protection on the healers. Rangers, mark them immediately. Don't let them vanish with Vanishing Strike. Elementalists use ice magic to restrict them. Everyone else, attack." After the six healers were killed, Sutharos quickly noticed FlameDancer and issued commands with a cold smile.
The nearby Shield Warriors and Berserkers reacted quickly, charging forth to save the remaining healers.
The Guardian Knights' Blessing of Protection was also cast on four healers, reducing physical damage by 50%.
These players were indeed skilled elite players, making it nearly impossible to take down the remaining four healers.
Facing the warriors' charge and the mages' ice arrow attacks, FlameDancer and the others used Galestride's invincibility time of over a second to block, then turned and fled into the forest, leaving behind the corpses of six healers.
"Damn it, Assassins, use tracking skills. Don't let them escape," Sutharos angrily commanded.
A hundred-strong elite team being ambushed by six Assassins, losing six healers, and letting them escape was a joke.
The Darkstar Guild members hadn't chased far when Orchid suddenly shouted, "Stop chasing, everyone, scatter immediately!"
After speaking, Orchid walked away from the forest.
Sutharos was puzzled by Orchid's actions but followed suit.
In the distance, Tonny finished casting a spell, reciting the final incantation.
A golden magic circle appeared in the sky, and a blinding Luminous Celestial flare descended.
Quick-reacting Elementalists used teleportation skills to dodge, while other classes activated their survival skills, trying to avoid the attack. However, the Luminous Celestialflare's range was vast, catching the Darkstar Guild off guard, and over ten people were hit. Even a Shield Warrior with 3000 health and Shield Wall active was easily killed by the falling Luminous Celestialflare.
No one within the Luminous Celestialflare's range survived.
"What a powerful skill. Seeing it in person is truly impressive. Besides Black Flame and Kai Blackthorn, the top player on the Honor Board from the Guild of Aether Wing is not to be underestimated," Orchid thought, still in awe of the Luminous Celestialflare's destructive power.
"Orchid, thanks to your warning, otherwise more than ten people would have died," Sutharos said, still shaken. The Luminous Celestialflare had targeted his position, and if he hadn't run quickly, he would have died too.
"Sutharos, contact RogueVortex immediately. Everyone else, stay on guard and don't spread out. There are more than just six of them," Orchid said in the group chat after surveying the surroundings.
"Orchid, you're overthinking. Although we've lost some people, my elite team is the main force of the Darkstar Guild. FlameDancer and her group have only about thirty people. They can't face us head-on and can only ambush us. Now is the perfect time to pursue them, not sit here waiting," Sutharos argued, feeling Orchid was being overly cautious.
Orchid wanted to say more, but Sutharos didn't want to miss the opportunity to kill FlameDancer's group and led everyone in pursuit.
"Good timing."
Eric saw Sutharos and his group approaching and smiled, signaling Cola and the other tank classes to charge.
Sutharos and his team saw the dozen Aether Wing players charging and immediately attacked, aiming to take down Cola and his group.
Cola, the Guild of Aether Wing's main tank, was level 21, equipped with at least Mithril Level gear, much of it Adamantite, and wielding the Obsidian Level Arcane Sentinel shield. With over 3900 health and incredibly high defense, a Darkstar Guild Elementalist's Inferno Burst only dealt a bit over 300 damage, shocking them.
Arrows from Darkstar Guild Rangers only dealt a bit over 100 damage to Cola, barely scratching him.
Violet Mistflow in the back waved her hand, casting a heal.
Cola instantly recovered over 400 health, returning to full health, with the heal ticking every three seconds for fifteen seconds.
Seeing this, the Darkstar Guild members were stunned.
"What kind of healing is this? I'm a Priest, and my heal only does about 200. This is one of the top five in the Darkstar Guild," a Darkstar Guild Priest exclaimed.
Cola's evasion skills were high, dodging about half of the incoming magic and arrows. With high defense and health, killing him was already difficult, and with a powerful healer behind him, it seemed impossible to play Divine Realms: Legends properly.
In the midst of the battle, the Darkstar Guild members realized something: Cola's health was over 5000 and unkillable!
Moreover, Cola's healing increased from over 400 to over 500, making him even harder to kill.
The Darkstar Guild didn't know that this was due to the Arcane Sentinel's passive skill, Melody of Life, which increased health by 3% and healing received by 2% for each hit taken, stacking up to 10 times for one minute.
This made Cola incredibly formidable.
"Kill him, all ranged focus fire!" Sutharos ordered, knowing that Cola's survival was crucial for their morale, so he prioritized killing Cola.
Five or six warriors surrounded Cola, with a barrage of ranged attacks, treating him like a boss.
Guardian Knight Cola smirked, activating Blessing of Protection, reducing all damage by 50%.
The highest damage from Darkstar Guild's attacks on Cola didn't exceed 200, with most under 100. Against 5000 health, it was negligible, but the sheer number of attacks soon reduced Cola's health to nearly half.
However, Violet Mistflow acted, casting a shield and heal on Cola. The shield absorbed over 700 damage, followed by a healing spell.
Cola's health instantly recovered over 1600, plus the ongoing heal of over 500, bringing him back to full health in no time.
