Chapter 282 Shadowstorm

Crystal Palace, an organization established since the Great Cataclysm, has existed for thousands of years to protect the entire human continent from foreign invasions.

When events like the opening of the Abyssal Rift Valley and foreign invasions occur, it falls upon Crystal Palace to suppress them, as it is beyond the capability of any single nation.

Additionally, all melee classes could come here to take on tasks to learn advanced skills, which they could acquire upon completion.

As soon as Eric arrived at Crystal Palace, he reported the situation to the Guardian Knight Commander.

As one of the most powerful factions in Divine Realms: Legends, even the ordinary Guardian Knights of Crystal Palace are level 180 second-tier classes, while the Guardian Knight Commander is a level 200 third-tier class.

"Lord Black Flame, this matter is of great importance. However, I must immediately issue a city-wide warning and gather the army to head to the front lines. I must trouble you to report this to Ukarus at the Royal City Crystal Palace and request his assistance," the Guardian Knight Commander said anxiously after hearing Eric's report. He handed Eric a golden token and hurried out the door.

Eric felt speechless; this Guardian Knight Commander was too overbearing.

However, the report was done, and now he just needed to go to the Royal City to find Ukarus, which seemed like an easy task.

Eric then left Crystal Palace and headed to the teleportation hall in Silvervale City.

As soon as Eric stepped into the teleportation hall, he saw six tall and burly players blocking the stone steps, completely obstructing the passage.

These six players were all level 18, definitely top-tier, and their equipment was excellent, mostly Mithril Level. The leader, a stern middle-aged man, was fully equipped with Mithril Equipment. His sharp eyes were like daggers, and his entire body exuded a cold, murderous aura that made other players avoid him, not daring to look directly at him.

Although they hadn't fought, Eric could sense that these six were formidable. Such a team was rare even in Silvervale City.

On their chests hung a black six-pointed star emblem, the guild insignia of Darkstar Guild.

"Is there something you need?" Eric asked.

"You must be Black Flame. I am Darius Shadowthorn from the Stygian Alliance. I'm here to deliver some good news," the middle-aged man said condescendingly.

Although Black Flame was known as Eldoria's top Blacksmith, in Darius Shadowthorn's eyes, he was just a clown.

In both reality and Divine Realms: Legends, only power matters.

A person who only knew how to forge was merely a tool for the strong.

If it weren't for the guild's headquarters alerting the Stygian Alliance's higher-ups, he wouldn't have bothered to come here.

He was truly interested in Kai Blackthorn, a Swordsman hailed as a god-level expert. He was eager to fight him, and Mr. Potter had ordered that Kai Blackthorn must be eliminated and his Epic Level items seized.

However, somehow the information leaked, and no matter how many people were sent, they couldn't find Kai Blackthorn. This disappointed him greatly, as he didn't expect Kai Blackthorn to be such a coward, lacking even the courage to fight.

"Good news? It seems more like trouble to me," Eric said with a cold smile, looking at the other five men who appeared menacing.

"Black Flame, we apologize for our rudeness, but we really do have great news for you. We just don't know if you can come with us, as this isn't the place to talk," said another middle-aged man who stepped out from behind the six burly men. He had a kind face and a friendly smile. Eric used Insightful Gaze and found out that this man was named Sutharos, and he immediately understood.

'What a small world,' Eric thought with a smirk.

Last time, Sutharos had threatened him to hand over the Frost Azure Flame, but Eric refused. Sutharos then vowed to make him pay. Eric had initially wanted to see how strong the Stygian Alliance really was, but Isabella had suppressed the matter, so it was left unresolved. Unexpectedly, they met again today.

"What if I refuse?" Eric asked.

"We anticipated that, which is why we brought Darius Shadowthorn and the others along, to personally escort you," Sutharos said with a fake smile, glancing at the six Guardians of the Abyss beside him.

"Alright, since you're so sincere," Eric nodded.

It was clear that Sutharos and his group were well-versed in the rules of Silvervale City. Although combat was not allowed, as long as no harm was caused, forcibly taking someone away was still permissible.

Of course, with Eric's high strength attribute, it was impossible for them to forcibly take him away.

Just the 40 free attribute points awarded from the Lost Lands were significant. To equip the Divine Breath of the Celestial Dragon sooner, Eric had used 30 points on intelligence and 10 on strength. Additionally, with the Demonic Weapon Abyssal Blade, which provided two extra free attribute points per level, and his equipment's strength bonuses, Eric's strength had already surpassed 170 points. With his strength attribute, there were few in Divine Realms: Legends who could match him.

However, Eric was still curious to meet the mysterious high-ranking member of the Stygian Alliance.

"Let's go," Sutharos said with a smile, leading the way.

Soon, Sutharos brought Eric to an upscale bar, a place where ordinary players rarely came due to the high costs.

"Please enter, Black Flame. Mr. Potter has been waiting for you," Sutharos said, opening a private room door and gesturing for Eric to enter.

Inside the room, a handsome and imposing young man sat with two high-level beauties by his side. These women were not players but NPCs, clearly the young man's servants, similar to how Anna served as Eric's assistant at StellarTrails Emporium. This was far more impressive than having two alluring player companions.

At this stage, having two NPC servants indicated that this young man was no ordinary person.

"Are you a high-ranking member of the Stygian Alliance?" Eric asked.

"Yes, I am Ethan Potter, Vice President of the Stygian Alliance in the eastern region of Eldoria. You can also call me by my game name, Shadowstorm," Ethan Potter introduced himself.

"What business do you have with me, Mr. Potter?" Eric asked.

From Ethan Potter's tone, Eric could already gauge the strength of the Stygian Alliance. Although he had known that the Stygian Alliance was a vast power spanning multiple kingdoms, confirming it still sent a shiver down his spine. No wonder Isabella was wary of them.

Eldoria was divided into five regions: east, south, west, north, and central. Silvervale City belonged to the eastern region of Eldoria, and Ethan Potter was in charge of the Stygian Alliance's affairs in this region, wielding considerable power.

"I heard that Black Flame founded the Guild of Aether Wing and has managed it exceptionally well. Our Stygian Alliance is very optimistic about Aether Wing and would like to invest in it," Ethan Potter said with a smile, pointing to Darius Shadowthorn at the door. "You’ve seen our strength. Even the previously insignificant three-star guild, Darkstar Guild, became a dominant force in Silvervale City after our investment. If you agree, we will help Aether Wing grow rapidly, not just becoming the dominant force in Silvervale City, but the number one guild in the entire eastern region."

"Are you interested, Black Flame?"
