Chapter 352 Enhancement

The battle on the streets of Silvervale City was intense, with players getting knocked out left and right.

For some reason, though, the city guards had stopped trying to break up the fight. Instead, they had blocked off the whole area around the teleportation hall. As long as the players stayed within that zone, the guards, armed with long spears, just stood by and watched.

The players were going nuts over the loot dropped by the Mechanical Slaughterer, completely ignoring Eric, who was watching from a distant high-rise. Their eyes were glued to the dropped items.

But the female knight, Turtledove, used her observation skill to glance at Eric and was immediately shocked.

"Level 34! How the heck is he that high?"

Most players hadn't even hit level 20 yet, but Eric was already at level 34...

Just seeing the number 34 was enough to make any player lose hope.

In Divine Realms: Legends, a level difference of more than 5 was a big deal, let alone over 10.

But then Turtledove noticed that Eric's level suddenly dropped by one, which confused her. He hadn't died, so why had his level decreased?

What Turtledove didn't know was that Eric had just allocated a ton of experience points to the seven skills of the Ring of Seven Luminaries.

The experience points needed for level 34 were huge, allowing all seven skills to be upgraded to level 3.

Ring of Earth, currently level 3 (upgradeable, requires 6 million XP): Defense increased by 40%, damage taken reduced by 25%, with the skill Absolute Defense, which can negate twelve instances of damage, cooldown 1 minute 20 seconds.

Ring of Water, currently level 3 (upgradeable, requires 6 million XP): Healing increased by 40%, casting cost reduced by 20%, with the skill Life Bloom, which restores 15% of the target's health per second for 30 seconds, cooldown 1 minute 30 seconds.

Ring of Wind, currently level 3 (upgradeable, requires 6 million XP): Movement speed increased by 30%, attack speed increased by 30%, and agility increased by 20%, with the skill Leap, allowing short-term wind flight, increasing movement speed by 120% for 15 seconds, cooldown 2 minutes.

Ring of Fire, currently level 3 (upgradeable, requires 6 million XP): Damage increased by 35%, target's defense reduced by 30%, with the skill Flame Storm, dealing 600% damage within a 15x15 yard area for 5 seconds, cooldown 5 minutes.

Ring of Time, currently level 3 (upgradeable, requires 10 million XP): All skill cooldowns reduced by 25%, enemy movement and attack speed within a 100-yard radius reduced by 25%, skill cooldowns increased by 30%, with the skill Absolute Time, preventing enemies within a 60x60 yard area from using any skills or items for 20 seconds, cooldown 2 minutes 30 seconds.

Ring of Illusion, currently level 3 (upgradeable, requires 10 million XP): All attributes increased by 25%, enemy attributes within a 100-yard radius reduced by 30%, with the skill Illusion Realm, immune to all magic damage, converting 15% of magic damage into health restoration, duration 15 seconds, cooldown 3 minutes.

Ring of Void, currently level 3 (upgradeable, requires 10 million XP): Immune to all control effects, with the skill Spatial Movement, allowing instant teleportation within a 360,000-yard range, cooldown 8 minutes.

"Man, the experience needed just keeps getting crazier, but the skill boosts are totally worth it. I wonder how far I can push this if I dump all my experience points," Eric thought as he continued upgrading the Ring of Seven Luminaries.

This time, he upgraded all the skills to level 5 in one go, dropping his level to 26.

After reviewing the level 5 attributes of the Ring of Seven Luminaries, even the usually calm Eric couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement.

The Ring of Seven Luminaries was a legendary Divine Artifact, and even an Epic Level replica possessed unimaginable power.

At level 5, the Ring of Seven Luminaries was already impressive. Eric suspected that if he could max it out, it might rival even Legendary Level items.

However, the experience required to further upgrade the Ring of Seven Luminaries was astronomical. Reaching level 6 was beyond his current capabilities.

"Alright, next up is the ultimate skill, Pyroblast Burst," Eric said, opening his skill menu to upgrade Pyroblast Burst.

Previously upgraded to level 5 at the Inferno Shrine, Pyroblast Burst dealt 420% damage, with six attacks and a cooldown of 3 minutes 30 seconds. With the remaining experience points, Eric could further enhance it.

Eric upgraded Pyroblast Burst by four levels in one go, bringing it to level 9, and his level dropped to 21.

[Pyroblast Burst: 1-second cast time, channels all fire energy into a single point, dealing 750% damage with twelve attacks, cooldown 3 minutes, currently level 9 (requires 60 million XP to advance to the next tier).]

"Wow, this is gonna be insane," Eric muttered to himself, feeling the power surge through him.
