Chapter 31 The Books Dropped in the Silent Forest of Hell

Eric didn't hesitate and walked over, casually picking up the menacing one-handed sword. Crimson Edge was one of the rarest drops in the Infernal-level Silent Grove Dungeon and the best one-handed sword for warriors below level 6, bar none.

Crimson Edge, a one-handed sword at the Mithril level, required 12 strength to equip. At level 3, it offered +21 attack, +5 strength, +6 agility, +3 stamina, and had a durability of 30/30.

The pure attack power of Crimson Edge was comparable to that of a level 5 two-handed bronze great axe, and the added six agility significantly increased the warrior's attack speed, making it an exceptional weapon.

Unfortunately, Eric couldn't equip it yet. His current experience was only at level 2, 69%, still a long way from level 3. Moreover, even at level 3, he couldn't equip it because warriors needed to reach level 5 to unlock the dual-wield talent, allowing them to equip two one-handed swords.

The thought of wielding both Abyssal Blade and Crimson Edge simultaneously once he reached level 5 excited him. It would make him unparalleled among level 5 players.

"Eric, hurry up and pick up the loot! I'm getting anxious!" Tonny urged.

"Yeah, Captain, you can't just enjoy it all by yourself. At least show us what dropped!" The sight of the dropped items overwhelmed everyone with anticipation. Their earlier celebration of reaching level 2 was temporarily forgotten as they eagerly awaited the unveiling of the loot dropped by the two Infernal-level bosses. No one would rush to grab the loot, no matter how valuable it was.

If anyone did that, they would regret it for life because Eric was the real treasure. Even if Eric claimed all the equipment, no one would object. After all, they had made it this far, thanks to Eric, so no one would rush forward to grab the loot. They all stood obediently on the side, watching.

"Alright, don't worry," Eric smiled slightly and began quickly picking up the items. He was very pleased with everyone's behavior.

Unlike his previous life, where sometimes, when he was in a dungeon with others, they would rush to grab the loot and then disappear, leaving Eric speechless with anger as soon as the boss was down.

He didn't set the party to captain loot because he wanted to test everyone. It was always good to identify deceitful people early. Now that no one rushed to grab the loot, he felt more at ease with them.

In no time, Eric had picked up all the dropped items: a total of 19 items and five silver coins. This haul was comparable to all the assets of a large guild.

After organizing his backpack a bit, Eric's lips curled up slightly when he saw a forging blueprint.

It was the Guardian Plate Blueprint—a valuable item that, upon learning, allowed players to forge level 3 Bronze-level chest armor. To create the Guardian Plate, it required 20 copper ores, five bronze ores, and five bottles of magic essence. This piece of equipment was excellent. Once the MT equipped the Guardian Plate, clearing the Common Level Silent Grove Dungeon would be much easier, not just because of the high defense and strength of the Guardian Plate, but more importantly, it increased the maximum health by 200 points, which was crucial for the MT.

In his previous life, when this equipment came out, major guilds went crazy over it, sparing no effort to conquer Silent Grove Dungeon for the blueprint.

Tonny eagerly observed Eric's reaction, curious about the findings.

The others were even more expectant, casting burning gazes at Eric.

"Not bad stuff. Take a look for yourselves," Eric said, not wasting any more time, and shared the attributes of all the equipment.

There were a total of 15 pieces of equipment. Among them, only one was Mithril Level, which was Crimson Edge. There were five pieces of Dark Iron Level Equipment and nine pieces of Bronze Level Equipment. The Bronze Level Equipment dropped by the Infernal-level bosses was all top-notch, far superior to the Bronze Equipment dropped by outside elites.

Among all the equipment, Crimson Edge was the most valuable. The next were the Dark Iron Level sets for various classes. Dark Iron Level sets only dropped in Infernal-level instances; Common-level and Hard-level instances only dropped Bronze Level sets.

Tonny, who had always been fortunate, obtained two pieces of the Sorcerer's Dark set out of the 5 Dark Iron Level pieces. The Dark Iron Level dark set was undoubtedly the best Sorcerer set before level 5. The dark set had five pieces: head, chest, legs, shoes, and gloves. This time, the chest and shoes dropped, making Tonny grin from ear to ear.

"Eric, I love doing Infernal-level instances. Let's do this every day so I can complete my dark set. Then, who would dare look down on us? I'll blast them away," Tonny said, showing off his dark set.

Wearing the dark set, Tonny felt more like an expert. His magic damage increased to 66, and a level 3 Shadow Bolt could nearly deplete a level 1 Shield Warrior's health. If he completed the Dark Iron Level dark set, a single Shadow Bolt could finish off a level 1 Shield Warrior.

The dark gray fur robe and shiny black boots were clearly a matching set.

The others looked at Tonny's flashy dark set with envy..

They had never imagined that doing Infernal-level instances could be so rewarding. They wished they could do more Infernal-level instances in the future.

The remaining three pieces were sets for Guardian Knight, Shield Warrior, and Elementalist. Among those present, only Cola was a Guardian Knight, so Eric gave that piece to Cola and kept the rest.

As for the remaining Bronze Equipment, there was a shield and a greatsword, both top-notch level 2 items, which he gave to Cola and Ezio. Oracle Drowsy Sloth and Summoner Greedy Gnawer each got a piece of Bronze Equipment.

Eric changed quite a bit of his gear. There were three pieces of Bronze Equipment for warriors, and he kept the remaining two pieces.

Once everyone had changed their gear, the whole team looked different. Everyone's equipment was luxurious, clearly not something that could be bought at a street stall. The whole team had reached level 2, with Tonny almost at level 3, at 98%.

The other four items were a blueprint, an alchemy recipe, a rare Sorcerer skill book, and a notebook.

The rare Sorcerer skill made Tonny ecstatic. It was a group attack skill called Inferno Blaze, dealing 150% fire damage per second to a 24x24-foot area for 5 seconds, with a 36-second cooldown, a godly skill for early-stage farming.

"What is this for?" Eric looked at the old notebook in his hand. He didn't remember the Infernal-level Silent Grove Dungeon dropping such an item.

He opened it and saw it was filled with incomprehensible text, but Eric knew these were ancient elven scripts.

In Divine Realms: Legends, anything related to elven scripts was extraordinary, like the Ring of Gravity, which had a string of elven scripts engraved on it, giving the ring incredible powers.

"Looks like I need to visit the library."

Eric felt this notebook was special. In his previous life, he had done the Infernal-level Silent Grove Dungeon dozens of times and had never seen this item drop. No other team in his guild had mentioned it either. It was likely a first-kill drop, and to understand it, he would need to find a translator at the library.

"Eric, what are we doing next? Farming?" Tonny was eager to try out his new skill.

"Alright, let's go to Darkmoon Valley to do quests and farm. The monsters there drop a lot of ores," Eric said after thinking for a moment.

With the blueprint in hand, the next step was gathering materials. With Tonny's Inferno Blaze, farming Kobolds and goblins should be quick, and Eric knew a few good spots for using Inferno Blaze.

Eric then turned to the others and asked, "Do you want to come along or do your own quests?"

"Eric, how can I miss out on farming? I'm planning to stick with you from now on," Cola said, patting his new shield with a silly grin.

"Eric, can we join too?"

Drowsy Sloth and Greedy Gnawer, both high school students, lowered their heads, looking a bit embarrassed but not wanting to miss the opportunity. Eric was a top player, and learning a trick or two from him would be invaluable.

Eric smiled and said, "Of course, you're welcome to join."

The two immediately looked excited, clenching their fists in anticipation.

"Since no one objects, let's go farming in Darkmoon Valley."

Eric finished speaking, opened the System screen, selected the party instance teleport, and left the Silent Grove Dungeon.
