Chapter 262 We Are Strong

Rosewater was shocked.

"Are they the eight members of the Honor Board?" Rosewater muttered to herself.

Although she didn't use her observation skills, the fact that they had such good equipment and were members of the Guild of Aether Wing made it clear that they could only be those eight people.

Eric nodded and then started forming the group.

FlameDancer and his team had a total of 17 people. Rosewater also brought along her good friend, Priest Frostberry, because Eric had previously mentioned that it would be best to bring a healer above level 15, so Rosewater brought her along.

Including Eric, they had exactly 20 people, with two MTs: Guardian Knight Cola and Shield Warrior Evan Hotcher, and four healers, making it a standard 20-person raid team setup.

Just as Eric was about to enter the instance, another team approached.

The members of this team were extraordinary. Not to mention that the worst among them had Dark Iron Equipment, many were even wearing Mithril Equipment, which was a quality you wouldn't see in a random group.

However, this group wasn't from a guild but a random team, as they didn't have any guild emblems on them.

"GrayWolfSkyborne!" FlameDancer exclaimed in surprise upon seeing the thin man approaching.

"What? Do you know him?" Eric didn't recognize the man who seemed to be the leader and had no memory of him.

But having such weapons and equipment at this stage meant they were definitely a top-tier team, not someone unknown.

"Did he stop playing for a while?" Eric wondered to himself.

"Hello, we meet again," GrayWolfSkyborne greeted FlameDancer. "It's been a while. I didn't expect you to join a guild now."

"No, actually, we've always been members of this guild. We just didn't establish it earlier for some reasons," FlameDancer explained. "Let me introduce you to our guild leader, Black Flame."

"Surprising, so you are the famous Blacksmith Black Flame of Eldoria," GrayWolfSkyborne said, slightly shocked. Although he knew FlameDancer and his team were not ordinary, he didn't expect their leader to be such a renowned figure.

"GrayWolfSkyborne, I'm the surprised one, . You've already started tackling the 20-person level 15 raid. Being able to raid Demonic Citadel at this time makes you one of the top teams in Silvervale City," Eric said. Although he hadn't heard of GrayWolfSkyborne before, leading such a powerful team meant he was no ordinary person, and Eric immediately thought of recruiting him.

"We're just a random team, so we can't compete with guilds for the first clears of the three large raids. That's why we're here. Since Black Flame has things to do, we won't disturb you," GrayWolfSkyborne said, clearly having no interest in guilds, and led his team into the instance.

"That guy's attitude is really strange. We had a good chat last time we met, but now he just says a few words and leaves. Such a big change in attitude," Tonny said, annoyed.

"He probably doesn't like guilds," Eric said with a helpless smile as he watched GrayWolfSkyborne enter the instance.

Divine Realms: Legends had all kinds of people, and naturally, some didn't like guilds because they were too domineering. Many people just wanted to experience the world of Divine Realms: Legends and had no interest in guilds.

And many of these adventure-seeking players were incredibly strong. The most famous adventurer team was Midnight Masquerade. Although they had only about 20 members, no guild dared to underestimate them, not even the super guilds, which kept their distance from Midnight Masquerade.

Clearly, GrayWolfSkyborne was one of these adventurers.

"Everyone has their own aspirations; you can't force it," Eric thought to himself, feeling a bit regretful.

"There are really a lot of strong people in Silvervale City," Rosewater said, also surprised. It was just Silvervale City, yet it had so many experts, truly a place full of hidden talents.

Then Eric and his team also entered the Demonic Citadel, but they chose a different difficulty level than GrayWolfSkyborne's team.

Infernal-level, a difficulty that made all players tremble, was casually chosen by Eric.

Rosewater was speechless; she was almost at her limit. Eric always played by his own rules.

After all, this was an Infernal-level 20-person raid. Normally, you would start with the Common Level to get familiar with the instance, then accumulate gear from the Adversity-level, and finally tackle the Infernal-level. But Eric went straight for the Infernal-level. What did he think the Infernal-tier Dungeon was?

Even with powerful experts, you couldn't just do that. Did he forget that half of the team didn't have particularly good gear?

And that half consisted of the newly joined Five Demon Generals and the nine members from VerdantLeaf Studios. Although they had reached level 15 and were equipped with Dark Iron Equipment, they were still far from meeting the requirements for the Infernal-level Demonic Citadel. They were all quite anxious.

Because it was Infernal-level, the monsters in the castle were all enhanced. Even the most ordinary elite monsters were terrifying, and such monsters roamed the castle corridors in groups.

Demonic Handmaiden, Elite, Level 15, 80,000 HP, specialized in magic attacks, especially fire damage.

Demonic Attendant, Elite, Level 15, 100,000 HP, specialized in melee combat.

The Demonic Attendant was the hardest to deal with because it had a no-aggro Charge forth and also applied Cursed Bloodblade, a continuous buff that caused players to lose health over time. Due to the Infernal-level, it was significantly enhanced, causing 300 HP loss every three seconds and increasing magic damage taken by 10%, stacking up to 10 times, lasting 30 seconds.

Additionally, demons naturally had high magic resistance, making them tough to deal with.

"Alright, Cola, you go pull the mobs. Evan Hotcher, you assist. Healers, keep an eye on the MT's health and dispel. Everyone else, focus on DPS," Eric casually commanded.

"Guild Leader, I suggest we take it slow. This is an Infernal-tier Dungeon, not Common Level. Even if Cola's gear is good, we can't just rush in like this," Rosewater was on the verge of breaking down.

"It's fine," Eric smiled. "We're strong!"

Eric had a good understanding of the team's strengths, so he was confident.

With the Arcane Sentinel equipped, level 18 Cola's HP had reached 3340, and his defense was an astonishing 2300+. In terms of stats, no other MT could compare to Cola right now.

Given the damage from the level 15 elite mobs in the instance, combined with the three-level suppression, they posed no threat to Cola.

Cola had no doubts about Eric's words. He charged forward, raised his shield, and threw it. The shield hit five elite monsters in quick succession, dealing over 300 damage and causing a silence effect, preventing them from using skills for six seconds. The shield then returned to Cola's hand.

Cola had previously tanked over a hundred level 25+ monsters, including elite ones. Compared to those, these elites were nothing, just with more HP and stronger skills.

"Come at me, all of you."

Cola let out a Righteous Roar, forcing all nearby monsters to attack him. With a loud shout, even the ranged Demonic Handmaiden had to target Cola. He became like a steel wall, blocking three Demonic Attendants and four Demonic Handmaidens. The consecration under his feet dealt Holiness damage, which had an extra effect on demons, causing 200 Holiness damage per second to the seven demons, keeping their aggro firmly on him.

The Demonic Attendants only dealt about 240 damage to Cola, and the Demonic Handmaidens' magic attacks were around 400 damage. Most of this damage was easily avoided by Cola's agile movements and dodges, allowing Violet Mistflow alone to keep Cola's health stable.

Evan Hotcher and the other healers were left standing there, doing nothing.

"No way."

Rosewater's body trembled slightly. Her excitement at this moment was beyond words.
