Chapter 277 The Divine Tomb

Just as Eric was in a daze for a while, the recovered FlameDancer and Rosewater also walked over.

"President, did you find anything?" FlameDancer asked in surprise when he saw Eric deep in thought.

Rosewater didn't notice Eric's change because she was deeply attracted by something else when she came to the stone tablet. As an Elementalist, she was more sensitive to magic than other professions.

The terrifying magic power emanating from the stone tablet was definitely the purest Rosewater had ever seen, as if it were the master of all magical elements.

When Rosewater saw the figure inside the stone tablet, she was also stunned.

"How is this possible?" Rosewater couldn't believe it, rubbed her eyes, thinking she was seeing things.

However, FlameDancer was puzzled.

"What's wrong with you two?" FlameDancer looked at Rosewater and then at Eric, feeling confused.

"Just look inside the stone tablet, and you'll understand," Eric said slowly, pointing to the figure inside the stone tablet.

FlameDancer's gaze then shifted to the stone tablet.

"Why is she here?" FlameDancer exclaimed in shock.

FlameDancer had seen the figure inside the stone tablet before, and it was recent.

It was the Divine Officiant Sharon, who dealt with two fallen angels in the Demonic Citadel, or rather, the woman inside the stone tablet looked exactly like Sharon, even with the same holy and ethereal aura. The only difference was the pressure.

This was not the kind of pressure generated by immense power, but a reverence from the difference in life levels, like mortals revering deities.

"Could she be a deity?" Looking at the woman who looked so much like Sharon, the thought suddenly popped into FlameDancer's mind.

FlameDancer's thought was exactly what Eric was thinking.

However, Eric could confirm that the woman inside the stone tablet was definitely a Tier 6 deity because he had experienced this unique pressure from deities before.

If it were a Tier 6 deity, Eric wouldn't be surprised. After all, he had played Divine Realms: Legends for ten years and had seen many Tier 6 players and NPCs. What really shocked him was that the woman in front of him looked exactly like Sharon.

Eric had felt this pressure before at Silverwood Manor, but he had forgotten where he had felt it. Now he knew why it felt familiar.

Because he had felt it on Sharon as well, just not as strongly, so he had forgotten.

The same appearance could be overlooked, but even the pressure was the same. How could Eric not be shocked? The only difference was the intensity.

If the woman in front of him was Sharon, Eric wouldn't believe it. After all, Sharon was only a Tier 3 Divine Officiant, far from a Tier 6 deity. But to say she had nothing to do with Sharon, Eric wouldn't believe that either.

The woman in front of him was clearly dead, but as a deity, her body was immortal as long as it wasn't deliberately destroyed.

Eric now understood that the so-called Lost Land was actually a divine cemetery. He just didn't know which Holiness had created it, using a deity's body as the power core and the most expensive Arcane Crystal to construct such a complex magic array. He didn't know what was being sealed.

Even if it were sealing a deity, it wouldn't require such a grand effort.

"It seems there's a deep connection between this place and Sharon." Eric had long felt that Sharon was not simple. Although a Tier 3 NPC was already very powerful, being involved in an Epic Level quest and now having a divine cemetery with a goddess looking exactly like Sharon, even Eric couldn't see through Sharon's true identity.

Unless he asked Sharon directly.

Eric was very curious and decided to go to Starview Tower in Shadowwing Citadel to see Sharon after this matter was resolved.

"President, what should we do now? Destroy this stone tablet?" Rosewater asked Eric.

The source of the magic array's power was clearly the stone tablet. To break the seal, they had to destroy the stone tablet. But they didn't know what would happen after destroying the stone tablet, especially since there was a deity inside.

"Let's give it a try first." Eric had looked around before and hadn't found any other mechanisms to break the magic array.

After Eric nodded, FlameDancer took action, instantly stabbing the stone tablet with two daggers.

The two Adamantite daggers, which could cut through iron like mud, only produced dazzling sparks on the stone tablet, not even leaving a mark.

"So hard." FlameDancer felt like he was chopping on divine iron, his hands numb from the impact.

"I'll try using magic." Rosewater began chanting Flameburst Volley.

The magic elements here were extremely dense, greatly enhancing the power of any magic cast.

The five fireballs, originally the size of tires, turned into the size of a house after being cast here, crashing onto the stone tablet like meteors, sparks flying everywhere.

After the flames were extinguished, Rosewater was shocked.

The stone tablet was still intact, even brighter than before.

Eric frowned slightly. Even Rosewater's ultimate move couldn't damage the stone tablet. It seemed that even he couldn't destroy it.

"If the stone tablet can't be destroyed, there must be another way to break the magic array," Eric asserted.

The Main System wouldn't give a task with no hope of completion. If the power source of the magic array couldn't be destroyed and the magic array itself couldn't be broken, then the only place left to break was the connection point.

"Rosewater, help me find the connection point between this stone tablet and the magic array," Eric said.

"Got it," Rosewater understood immediately.

FlameDancer, being an Assassin, knew nothing about magic and could only stay by the stone tablet, watching. Meanwhile, Eric and Rosewater began searching around the stone tablet for the magic transmission veins. Only by finding the veins could they locate the connection points.

The quickest way to break a magic array was to destroy the core power source. The hardest to break was the magic array itself. The easiest to break was the connection points, but they were also the hardest to find.

Connection points were nodes connecting the magic array to the power source, similar to electrical fuses, used to control magic output. If the connection points were damaged, the magic output would be uncontrolled, causing the magic array to self-destruct due to excessive magic.

After searching for most of the day, Eric finally found a connection point and destroyed it with a strike from the Abyssal Blade.

However, this huge and complex magic array had more than one connection point. They had to find and destroy them all.

After a few more hours, Rosewater also found a connection point and destroyed it, but the magic array remained unaffected.

Eric and Rosewater spent a whole day finding and destroying over twenty connection points. Although it had some impact on the magic array, it was still within the array's tolerance.

"President, bad news. The connection points you destroyed earlier have recovered." FlameDancer, having nothing to do, followed Eric to learn how to find connection points. During his study, he suddenly discovered that the connection points Eric had destroyed had recovered.

"What did you say?" Eric asked in disbelief.

Connection points that could recover on their own? Eric wondered if this was even a magic array or if the magic array had developed self-awareness.

Eric had seen many Tier 5 magic arrays and even Tier 6 ones, but he had never heard of a magic array that could self-repair.
